Photos are from December 2022. Hair still looks the same because it cost me nearly $700 for the 9 hour bleaching session. When the artist declined photos stating it was "too dark in the salon" I knew she knew she messed up. I felt awful for wanting to publish a bad review because she spent 9 whole hours on my hair. But she could've asked me to do this in two sessions and done it right. I was unaware at the time the salons can do separate sessions and have you come back for another bleach or toning. It should've been recommended that I do separate sessions since my hair is nearly 3 feet. Maybe bit off more than she could chew. Again I felt like it was going to be rude to say I didn't like it after 9 hours of work but it's my hair that I've had for 25 years and paid a lot of money for. The initial suggestion was she wanted to do only the top layer of my hair for $700 and leave the inside alone. Which was more reasonable but the same price for less work.. which I feel she did the original plan anyways because of the underside having more severe banding and bleached not as high up. **This review is only about the banding and not about the color. The photos were taken two months after so the initial toning has come out a bit. The original blonde was bright and lovely.

The first inconvenience of the day was that I got a call around 8 AM for my 1 PM appointment that there was a scheduling error and that the stylist I was working with had a bridal party scheduled and forgot, so I would have to either reschedule or cancel. Totally get understand mistakes happen, we're only human. Unfortunately, I didn't see the voicemail until I woke up an hour later, and when I called they notified me that the 2 alternate times they mentioned I could reschedule to had been filled. The good news was that I was at least able to get an appointment scheduled, however I expressed my concerns that it would be cutting it super close to my event, and they reassured me I would be out of there on time. Alas, I got to my appointment 10 minutes early, and I wasn't seen for almost 30 minutes as they were running behind. The main reason I'm giving 4/5 stars is solely because I actually loved the haircut, regardless of everything else that happened, I got exactly what I wanted and the stylist did a great job of talking everything through before starting. The one thing that really surprised me was how much I disliked the blowout! This salon is almost known for their bouncy blowouts, so I was very surprised to see that by the time I walked to my car (5 minutes) my hair was flat! My hair holds curls/blowouts VERY well, so I'm not sure what happened, but I called the salon notifying them how disappointed I was as I had another event the following day and they let me come back the next day to touch it up (free of charge).

The haircuts I received were fine but my stylist sold me a blow dryer and after using it for two…read moremonths my hair was fried! I always use heat protectant and have been blow drying my hair for 40+ years with zero breakage. I also do not use flat or curling irons. When I returned to the salon and advised her of the breakage and asked for a refund, she replied "that is not my department", no other comment, then proceeded to charge me for a hair treatment to help with damage. STAND BEHIND YOUR PRODUCTS! It will take two years for this massive damage to grow out.
