Great staff! Good sized venue. Good drinks. Good music. Loved having Uptown Friday Nights here with The Mixtape earlier this summer!! Parking is less than ideal, but you can't fault the bar for that. We will be back. read more

We had a lot of fun at this place! We went there on a Saturday afternoon just for a drink. They had someone playing live music outside and a little food cart. The whole place was open so with so much room. We played bags the whole time which was a lot of fun. Looking over their specials and events, it looked like they had a lot of things scheduled to keep people coming back. read more

Okay, before you say "oh well you need an Id" hear me out. I'm from California and I'm just visiting Iowa. I went to this club with no ID, HOWEVER I had multiple forms of identification with my name, picture, and birthday on them but this chubby blonde dude at the door said he's never seen anything like that. I made it through LAX's TSA you guys. I don't know if you know what that is but it's a pretty strict airport. I happened to lose my whole wallet before my trip (yeah I know, just my luck) so I made sure I had other forms of identification to save myself Incase I needed to. I get it, I look different and dress differently, but to say you don't know what that is is unacceptable. He could have easily compared my ID to my friends California ID for the official California seal and as a reference to what an official ID looks like, but no He wanted to be rude with a mean look on his face. I get you guys feel like if you don't have ID that's on you but just like Iowa hands out paper IDs while you wait for your official ID to come in the mail, I had my official paper ID and mine even had an official print and seal from my state that he could have easily verified with my home state as an authentic form of ID. THIS PLACE IS NOT THAT EXQUISITE FOR THEM TO DO STRICTER CHECKS THAN TSA AT A LARGE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ESPECIALLY ON A SUNDAY NIGHT WHERE ITS NOT ESPECIALLY BUSY. I'm appalled by his behavior. Don't have a bouncer who hasn't been out of Iowa or doesn't know different kinds of identification and is too lazy to verify the ID because it's unprofessional. read more

So we went out for a friends birthday last night for dinner and some drinks and we decided to go to this bar. Really was not impressed with it at all I have been here a few times and last night whoever served us 1st of all seem kinda rude and 2nd of all if I'm paying almost 5 bucks for a shot then give me a full shot because they were not even half full!!!!!!! The bouncer asked my OVER 21 year old friend 100000 questions about her ID (which she answered all correctly) then proceeded to turn her away. THEY ASKED HER WHAT HER ID NUMBER WAS. Who has their ID # memorized?? I understand being strict and not allowing minors in, but this girl was CLEARLY of age as are the rest of us. What a joke. I wish I could give them negative stars. Extremely disrespectful employees and homophobic bar. Do not go here!!! There's other bars in Cedar Rapids that are safer. They let tons underage kids in hazards and have no covid protocols. You can be in your late 20s and they will not let you in WITH YOUR LEGAL ID but not even question the fake IDs that the college freshman all had. (I asked these kids who got in and they confirmed they were all 19!) Extremely discriminatory against letting in someone who appears gay, but maybe they are trying to follow the country theme the bar has. As the other reviews said, the bouncers can be extremely aggressive and scary for no reason. You can get kicked out randomly and they get in your face with no masks and won't give you an explanation. I hope the owner realized the bouncers pick and chose who gets let in, not even based on legal identification. To the owner, you should read these reviews of discrimination and ask your employees to wear masks!!!! I was very scared by my experience here, and will not return. It's sad that LGBTQ+ people still can't be safe in Iowa. If you want to be bullied, discriminated against, and randomly denied, go to Hazards! Worst bar experience ever. Seems like it's a bunch of college dropouts in their mid-to-late 20s trying to relive their glory days. Mostly a male crowd, half of whom are just looking for a fight. Grossly overcrowded and it takes forever to get a drink. I wouldn't go here again if you paid me to. read more

Love the look of this bar, it's exactly what I'm looking for when I want a fun night out with my girlfriends. I like the decor, it's like a rock bar meets coyote ugly, the bathrooms aren't the greatest, but the friendly wait staff make up for any shortcomings. I've been here at least ten times, at least! This place is an absolute joke! first off the bartender that works in the back is the most unprofessional arrogant bartender you will ever meet. If you want to pay $5 a shot for some pineapple juice with no alcohol this is your spot. all of their drinks are watered down in tiny crappy cups with no ice. They're jello shots taste like straight up your Jello with no alcohol and they charge you triple the price on everything. The owner needs to hire all new staff because the staff that works there bring their girlfriends and gives away free drinks to them and treat paying customers like crap. The music that they play at this bar is like 8 of the same mainstream top 10 hits from 1999 over and over and over again the DJ needs fired too. Underage drinkers are here as well which creates a terrible atmosphere. It would be nice if this place got shut down and we open an actual real bar!! This is Cedar Rapids Iowa not Timbuktu Tennessee . I absolutely hate this bar trust me once you spend at least an hour here you'll feel the same. I've been to this bar twice and every time there is a major fights and bull because the bartenders give free drinks out to their girlfriends and overcharged paying customers.
