I would give HB Electric 10 stars if I could. Bryan, Austin, Kelly, and Jenn are Team Extraordinaire. Nothing about the project was simple, but they made it seem like it was. Our old family home was long overdue for a complete rewire. The original part of the house dates from 1900 and the newer part was constructed in 1950, with several instances of add-on electrical since. It contains custom woodwork, built-in fixtures whose wiring is no longer entirely accessible, brick fireplaces, wallpaper in some rooms, thin wallboard covered with plaster in others, and further challenges I'm sure I'm forgetting. Several new outlets had to be added throughout, in order to bring it up to code. They did a beautiful job on every cutout, never botching a single one. In addition to all new internal wiring, we needed a new service panel, ceiling-mounted radiant heating panels installed in every room, new thermostats, new ceiling fans, new exterior lights, and even a new electrical lead run the entire length of the attic and out the other end to service a detached barn. Whenever it seemed like something was about to be impossible, these guys managed to devise an ingenious solution to overcome whatever the obstacle was. All in all, it turned out to be two full weeks of work for 2-plus guys, with some weekend work and some overtime days. The scheduling was complicated for various reasons, which required them to pull off the job from time to time and then return several days later. In short, there was no way Bryan could know in advance all the issues they would confront. It could have been a nightmare of change orders. Yet he delivered us a detailed estimate at the outset, was flexible whenever necessary, went above and beyond to make things happen - and didn't charge us a penny more than contract at the end. HB Electric was a true pleasure to work with, and we were thrilled with the results. It's been slightly over a year now since the work was done and everything is still functioning flawlessly. Not only that, but one of the other electricians I called noted it may take 5-6 hours to install 5 ceiling fans (note all areas were pre-wired.) Hmmm, Bryan was done within a little over 2 hours. This company has been amazing. They took over when another electrical person got hurt. Their work has been great. We upgraded our service panel and added a ton of new electrical (in floor heating in bathrooms, ceiling fans, overhead lights, etc.)Every time they've come out they've gotten even more done than we thought they would. I couldn't have been more pleased with the work that was done on my house today. To begin , the estimates were spot on and nothing was added on the price I was given, super happy about that. Veteran owned and ran so I highly recommend these gentlemen to anyone serving. They left my place as if nobody was every there to begin with and were extremely professional from start to finish. We hired HB electric for a kitchen remodel/move. Out of all the contractors so far these guys have been the best. They provided a fair bid, I didn't feel like I was being ripped off (I got so many bids that were WAY off) and in a timeline they promised they would. Communication was excellent, and flexibility for my timeline was so important and they absolutely nailed it. On top of all of that, the advice and feedback for lighting and the project communication (project lasted several days) was top notch. And the team was so friendly, on time and worked on schedule. One word... FANTASTIC. They deserve MORE than 5 stars. We are so happy we found this comaany. The one reason we used them, is that after 6 or 7 calls to other electricians to obtain a bid... these were the first guys to actually answer the phone! First gold star! Second gold star, they actually called us and asked if we wanted our work done SOONER than scheduled. Third gold star, they showed up EARLY. And another gold star for the techicians that came to do the work (Kelly and Austin). They were hard workers, worked fast, were respectful of our home and of us. And they cleaned up everything to how it looked before they came. You would not of known they had been there if not for the new fixtures. HB was upfront about fees when I called so I knew what to expect and I was pleased with their service. There quotes are always better than any competitors. You'd think their quality and service would be sub-par because of the cost, but you would be EXTREMELY mistaken.
