They left holes in the walls food and drinks everywhere and the worst thing was broken glass on the floor

    Next Gen Painting

We hired Next Gen Painting for a large, multi-level interior project at our home in Bailey, and I…read morewould recommend them without reservation. Ryan was outstanding to work with from the beginning. He responded quickly to our initial inquiry, patiently answered detailed questions, responded even on weekends, and was extremely flexible with a tight pre-move schedule. He made several trips to Bailey and even brought four Sherwin-Williams samples matched to the colors we were considering so that we could evaluate them together in the house. The quotation was competitive and transparent, and there were no surprise charges. Pablo and the crew did exceptional work. We used three colors, including intentional color transitions across the main level, and the lines and edges came out beautifully. The finish is extremely consistent. The patching may have impressed me most: we had removed numerous wall-mounted items and left behind holes, anchors, and other damage, and in many places you simply cannot tell that anything was ever there. They also covered some very saturated old wall colors beautifully in only two coats. They were extremely careful with the house, masked and protected everything thoroughly, moved things as needed, and even removed and reinstalled our wall-mounted TV. They also worked around a dishwasher technician and other things happening at the house and still finished the project in about three and a half working days. Pablo and Ryan were both meticulous during the final walkthroughs and took care of even very small touch-ups without nickel-and-diming us. The quality, communication, flexibility, professionalism, and overall ease of working with them were excellent. We will absolutely call Next Gen again when we are ready for future painting projects.

ROCKSTARS! I contacted Next Gen Paint to quote for an interior and exterior project. My home is a…read moretwo-tone midcentury ranch, and the curb appeal needed work. I didn't love the idea of painting brick, so Ryan suggested a stain product. I was remote and couldn't attend the estimate. Ryan went to my property and consulted with me via phone. He waited while I collected multiple quotes, and then I circled back to schedule the work. I chose Next Gen because Ryan was responsive, informed, the quote was fair, and the terms were transparent. When the work started, communication throughout was superb. The crew's tenacity blew me away, and their attention to detail was especially impressive. It is the best experience I've had with a contractor as a homeowner. They nailed it (construction pun intended).

We had Jordan bid on a full kitchen remodel, flooring throughout the main floor, new stair railings…read moreand moving our door to the garage from the kitchen area to a laundry room which will serve as a mud room as well. His bid was the most comprehensive and best value. He came up with several ideas and noticed things that the other bidders did not. We ended up going with a different company due to some extenuating family circumstances. However, I would highly recommend Jordan and Wright Brothers Construction & Design Services.

Let me start this off by saying we liked Jordon and Cam so much that we had them over to dinner…read moreonce our basement remodel was finished. Dinner. With our basement contractors. That's huge. After working with contractors so closely for weeks and weeks, it might have been enough to say "Here's a check, see ya later." But these two (and mostly Jordon) were a huge part of my life on a daily basis and I have to say I was a bit bummed when the project was over. I stay at home with my kids and not only did Jordon provide me with some adult interaction, but he and Cam always made time to talk to my toddler even when they'd been here all day and just wanted to go home. Short story long, these guys are good people. I trusted them (still do) with my home and my kids. The project was an entire gut remodel of an approximately 1300sf basement. It was permitted and done to code. They (and their licensed subcontractors) demoed, did an egress window, framed, insulated, drywalled, plumbed, did electrical, painted, carpeted, laid plank vinyl, etc. We had a few concerns before choosing a contractor, namely: 1) that we would choose quality contractors (our kitchen guy turned out to be a real piece of work), and 2) that the estimated project cost wasn't going to skyrocket throughout the project due to poor planning on the contractor's part. Turns out we DID choose quality contractors which was apparent throughout the project in how respectful they were, how respectful their subcontractors were, and how they listened to us and worked to do as we pleased. The project cost did NOT skyrocket on their part (but it did increase a bit on our end when we decided to add and change a few things as the project went along). Some things were unforeseen like some small foundation cracks that we decided to have professionally fixed, and some new code changes for 2017 that were discovered at the time of permitting, but all in all it was at our budget, done well, done professionally, and we are so very happy with the results. Before we chose them, I had at least 8 people come to bid the project and spoke to probably 15-20 others. It was a long process to come up with someone. We almost went with someone else but it fell through, and although I was upset at the time I know everything happens for a reason. If meeting Jordon and Cam was the reason, then I'm glad for it. In fact, I saw them again today to quote two other smaller jobs, so needless to say I hope to work with these guys again. Do yourself a favor and have them bid your work, and then go ahead and sign with them.
