It's moved 2 different times since I was little but I've been coming to this one as often as I get a chance. 90% of the items in here are damaged or expired - that's why you're getting everything DIRT cheap. No, it is not a clean grocery store by any means.. It's a warehouse where stuff gets dumped off before they get rid of it (I'm assuming). You'll find mostly canned foods, chips/crackers, cereals, huge variety of drinks (canned and bottles), gum/candy, and just random boxed foods. They have more but that's the majority of it. About 1/3 of the items are on tables, a bit organized, and then 2/3 just in a TON of boxes. This is not a place I come to go grocery shopping but I always come because I know I'll find cereal and canned stuff WAY cheaper than the store. Last year I found 12packs of La Croix, flavored sparkling waters, for a freakin' DOLLAR. $1. They were only there because there was a typo on the box. Here's the end of this! I just went in today and spent $15.50 and got the following (none of the items below were expired. The cans and boxes were dented though): 10 cans of flavored sparkling water 4 different flavored boxes of Triscuits 2 boxes Thai noodles 4 boxes of organic cereal Family size Wheat Thins Box of Ritz Box of Cheez-Its 4 cans of Trader Joes coconut milk Cashew milk Orville popcorn Box of fruit snacks I can't tell you exactly how much that would cost at a grocery store but I would have to assume at LEAST $40. So.... If you don't mind looking through a bunch of bent boxes or dented cans to get things for like 1/5 of the regular price then this place is amazing :)

So you pick a bunch of stuff but have no idea how much it costs. So you go up to a cashier and honestly it seems like they are making up the prices at the registers. I took a can of cookies up to the cashier to ask her how much it was she told me $2. I said ok put it in my cart and continued shopping. After I was ready to check out i noticed a different cashier rang up the tin of cookies $3. When I told her the other cashier told me it was $2. She said ok and I thought she took the $3 off but when I looked at the receipt she did not take the $3 dollar charge off and in turn actually charged me $5 for a $2 can of cookies that by the way expired 2 weeks ago. So be careful make sure you are watching the cashiers, your receipts and the expiration dates on the products. Make sure you are actually getting a deal and not triple charged for some old expired products.

This place is not a secret, so it can get very crowded on a Saturday afternoon, especially as aisles are narrow. I'm planning on doing a weekday morning trip later in the year so I can concentrate on the clothing aisles, as it looks like they carry a better selection of plus sizes and office-esque attire than anywhere in Modesto. Superior used to have one of the two best toy sections in northern California; it's down a lot lately, but so is everywhere else. So if you're looking for used toys, definitely worth checking. They still do a fairly inspiring job with the tchotkes up front. There is a ton of parking, with two lots -- one beside the store and the other across a side street.

Truth be told, I just walked in here to kill time, but I treat thrift stores like Treasure Hunting as one will not know what they find! They had books and clothes and mixed media and housewares, but it was all well placed and in very good condition. When I realized I had to go (because time seemed to have moved so quickly when I was in there), I headed to the checkout and I had a very good conversation with the owner. In which, it was very nice and pleasant. And yes, I did end up buying something because I realized I needed something for my trip overseas! I also noticed the vintage comic books that they had behind the counter, and it was in a plastic bag for all you collectors! I will definitely be back!

We were greeted by one worker that was stocking upon walking in, once it was time to check out nobody was there, so I looked around and seen 3 woman working, but just talking and said I could self checkout.. But I'm hella old or at least I feel like it, so when I turned around and seen the self checkout... Thankfully the same girl who greeted me upon walking in, checked me out. So that was appreciated! They had my UCC Milk Coffee that I wanted. This store was no different. Being in Stockton, I was surprised that It was available. When I arrived someone greeted me and we talked for a bit. She showed me where a few things were. The last time I shopped at Daiso, everything was $1.50. Now, they're up to $2.25 and some items are more. Most things are Japanese designs made in China. They always seem to be of good quality, and that's what matters to me. I found my drinks and some curry packets for the person who lent me their car. I found a tablet that will help me work on my writing with a brush that I haven't done for years. I even bought something that I am using for a napkin holder. It came to an amazing total and kept me from spending all of my money. I had many other stores to visit.

They don't allow the baskets to leave their store so I make sure to only buy what I can carry out in my hands. If I need to do large order shopping than I just skip this store altogether.
