Was talking with a local bakery owner and she recommended this spot for local gourmet gifts. I was not disappointed by the friendly staff, awesome selection, and great prices. The day I was there, one of their suppliers dropped off some freshly baked sourdough loaves, still hot from the oven. There were also containers of locally baked cookies being sold near the register, which I regretted not buying during my drive back to the Bay! Plenty of jarred oils, spices, and sauces too. Looking forward to coming back next time I'm in the area. Maybe they'll have those cookies again! read more

Stopped in here this afternoon and what a lovely and unique little store this is! So many adorable, useful, and tasty things! Very big kitchen area full of essentials and really cool gadgets, lots of olive oil and spices, home decor, they even have a small display full of things for you fur babies. The owner is lovely and answered all of our questions with a smile. Picked up a few things but I will definitely be coming back to see what new things come in in the fall/winter! read more

Fantastic experience. We were given one-on-one attention by the owner for a balsamic vinegar and olive oil tasting: whose family also runs the olive orchard from which the wares are produced. Each option was more delicious than the last. it was hard to choose, so we bought almost all the flavors! Definitely worth your time. read more

Finally! A place in VS that brings a touch of class and a place to go that makes you feel like you're higher up in the foothills at a quaint tasting room. Very cute gift ideas, olive oils and handmade soaps for sale there as well. A nice variety of wines to taste and enjoy as well as mimosas and local area beers. The charcuterie for 2 was more than enough for us and they also have specialty pizzas and paninis on the menu. I was told they are expanding, adding a little quieter area for that romantic date night! Truly enjoyed it and will definitely go back. read more

In answer to your reply Christine to my review, our contract food & drink did NOT include alcoholic beverages such as the wine I purchased separately from our lunch. A 20% gratuity was added to the bottle I purchased on my own individually. Never have I been to an establishment that added their own 20% tip to an individual purchase of a bottle of wine. My purchase as an individual was separate from our group. Many in our group were very upset about that. There was also an incident where an employee didn't add the tip because she wasn't aware she should & she were asked to pay it after they sat down at their table. Not a good practice in my book. read more

When you enter you notice the staff wearing masks and a very clean, appealing atmosphere. There were thee of us ladies and we all ordered our favorite wine flights and a appetizer to go with each. The charcuterie board was beautiful but also the perfect pairing of food, the margarita pizza was perfection with a nice light crust and I had the toasted pretzel with. Cheese and stone ground mustard. We were all very happy. Loved shopping in the gift shop next door and the have cute unique items. I think this may be a hidden gem in valley springs that more people need to know about it. Christine, the owner is trying so hard to do everything right and you can for sure feel that when you enter. Love, love, love this place. Very nice wine and local beer tasting room, excellent things to much on while tasting (all 3 panini offerings are incredibly delicious), plus there's a nice gift shop attached and antiques outside the front door. The folks are very friendly there, too. With friends coming into town, I ordered a large charcuterie platter several weeks ago (needed to order this 24-hours in advance), and couldn't be happier with what I received. Quite a nice selection of cheeses, meats, dried fruits, honey, etc...the salami slices were even made into cute "roses." This is one of the nicest places in Valley Springs to get a drink and a nosh, without being stuffy. read more

I love this local business, they are very friendly, customer service oriented and always have fun and interesting items in their shop. They also support local artists which makes me happy because I prefer to support local business owners too. Provisions is owned by the same people and is next door. They serve wonderful sandwiches and soup and have a nice variety of wines to choose from. This is a sweet spot in Valley Springs and we are lucky to have them. read more
