I decided to give them a shot after such an incredible experience getting my windows tinted at their other shop. I am car illiterate and they're super patient with me. They've caught and thoroughly explained improper past fixes and what kinds of issues I have. They are proactive in communication, are friendly, and the ability to get an uber ride to and from the shop on their dime is incredible. They've also given me a loaner to use when they've had my car for extended periods. My last shop (European Service Center ) felt like I was picking up a part time job just to get any communication and my car would sometimes be there days on end without getting worked on. I feel like E1 is super respectful of my time, cares about my business, is very professional, and keeps me informed without me asking- it's so refreshing and appreciated. They are not the cheapest but also not wildly expensive either; their pricing is on par with my last shop and things are actually done right. I recognize that things don't always go perfectly and care a lot about how a company reacts to makes things right. I had a slight issue with my struts repair after about 9 months after the fix and they stood behind their work no problem and fixed it promptly (they have a 3 year warranty on work done). What a horrible experience I had that began 3-2-2023. I initially purchased air bags for my Ram…read more3500 on 11-13-2022, for $1464.00, under a warranty. My initial visit with Michael was rushed and not the best., however, in the end, I ended up giving Awesome Transformations my business and they were kind enough to throw in a valve for manual air. Fast forward to February 23,2023 I noticed a failed pressure system which resulted in air leaking from the lift air suspension bags. I called Michael on Monday, 27th of February and was told to bring my truck by on Thursday, 3-2-2023. When I arrived the installer quickly tried to blow me off and basically said he couldn't find any leaks and insinuated I was lying. I suggested that I leave my truck overnight, to allow the installer to check the air gage and witness for his self that the system was failing. On Friday, the installer confirmed what I had stated all along. The air was leaking. The system is under warranty, which covers the parts. Unfortunately, Michael at Awesome Transformation told me I had to pay for them to look at the air kit, which was leaking air AND under warranty. I also would have to pay for labor to replace damaged (warranted) parts. When I respectfully said that's not fair his reply was "come get your truck and you find someone else to fix it!" This is a bait a switch service - they smile to get your money, but the service and installment is poor quality and don't stand behind the parts and service they offer. My advice to shoppers -stay far away from this place be very careful with this place because the little guy is taken advantage of for profit and now, I am out of $1464.00 and will have to pay another company to install a new system. As an entrepreneur, I understand the importance of standing by the work you provide. Sure they may have a lambo always parked outside their establishment, but that's really there to lure you in, thinking the place must be good if they do work on expensive cars. I brought my car here to install a 2-way pager alarm. My initial quote was $440, which is relatively cheaper than taking it to a legitimate shop. I dropped my car off in the morning and they said my car would be complete at 1:00 pm. At 12:30pm I called and asked if my car was ready and they said around 3:00 pm. That's no problem. At 2:30 pm I called again asking if my car was ready, they said 5:00 pm. Ok no worries. I arranged someone to take me there at 5:00 pm, hoping my car would be finished. Turns out they haven't even started working on my car. They started to work on my car after about 30 minutes of waiting. Once it was done, I went to pay. The man behind the counter charged me an additional $40 for "necessary add-ons". I was not happy. I was finally about to get my car out by the time their shop closed. In fact, they were waiting on the technician to finish working on my car before they could close (which made them rush the job). Success, I thought, since my car now had a new distinct chirp when I unlocked and locked my car. I drove back home to Pearland and parked the car over night. I had a lot of issues with my remote start so I decided to take it back the next day since it was already dark. The next morning I inspected their job. There was cut pieces of insulation and bits of wire EVERYWHERE in my car. They did not bother to clean up the mess they have created. Not only that, my 12V port was no longer secured to the dash or even connected. They must have disassembled it taken apart the entire console and forgot to re-attach it. As I started to fix the problem myself, I noticed that they cracked my cup holder. I drove back to the place and waited inside for someone to help me. There were three guys behind the counter eating lunch, not even acknowledging me. I guess lunch time is more important than customer. No respect what so ever. At least they helped me resolve the remote start issue later on. I didn't even bother mentioning the cracked cup holder or 12V port since I didn't want them touching my car again. Overall, I would never recommend anyone to this place. I came here because I was referred by a friend and I wanted an alarm on my car so it won't get vandalized.
