This will be the second or third time I've used Chad and Dent Dogs. On at least one or two of those occasions, Juan actually did the service as he did today. Is an old but well loved car of mine that had raised area more like a pimple than a dimple in the hood. I read the great review on Yelp so i contacted them for a quote including pictures of the small repair areas (a rock chip on the hood and a small dent on the right fender). The next day i got a call from Chad, he was very great, he said he was really busy and wanted me to meet him at Greenway Mercedes, being a work day that was not at all convenient but he sounded like he could do the job quickly so i agreed. He quoted me $80 for the dent, and he worked closely with the Greenway group and could work something out on the hood. On my way, another guy called (could not understand him well enough to catch his name) saying he was waiting for me. It was 20 minutes before i was supposed to be there. Anyway, when i got to the dealership he didn't answer his phone, after 5 minutes looking around for someone, he called and looked at my car. He said that it would cost $140 for the two repairs, but the hood would not look much better than it did, the would just put touch up paint on the hood. NOT at all what i expected, he said something about having to have the car wet sanded and buffed out, but i was not clear if that meant i would have to leave the car at the dealer and rent a car or what. He lacked a bit on communication skills, I had to get back to my office shortly, so I just gave up and said forget the whole thing. I am so disappointed after reading and seeing samples of the work done. I can't imagine my little work would be such a problem, but perhaps i misunderstood what these guys do. UPDATE: I need to update my previous review. Dent Dogs called me this morning explaining more about their service and offering to do the dent repair on the fender and hood for free, explaining that the paint chip repair is not part of their service. I had thought that they could do something with that from the pictures and stories I read, however i understand better now. They offered to do the work for free at my home, which really surprised me. I don't expect free work and when I insisted on paying he refused to take it. He was here for a little over an hour, did a great job on what he could do and told me to contact the Cadillac dealership for touch up paint. The fender dent is completely gone, the hood looks better and i'll get the touch up from Cadillac, I work in customer service, yesterday my experience was not good but Dent Dogs made showed me they truly do care about the customer experience. I'm now a BIG fan and very impressed with the not only the service provided but the value they place on their customers. AMAZING service and quality workmanship! What do you do when you purchase a new car and not even a few days later you find a noticeable dent on the door? PANIC. Now I couldn't say for certain that it happened before I drove off the lot or not, but I knew the BMW dealership most likely wouldn't claim responsibility for it. And the dent wouldn't have bothered me as much if it wasn't right below the door handle light, which cast a very obvious shadow on that small, yet very sharp, poke of a dent (see pictures). Dent Dogs is the ONLY paintless dent repair company I will EVER use. Chad is polite, knowledgeable, and above all, an absolute PRO at paintless dent removal. Someone put 2 sizeable dents in the driver side door of our 2019 RAV4 - one about the size of a quarter, the other about the size of a fifty cent piece. My husband was PISSED!!! We take great care of our car (which we just bought in September) and park away from other cars when we go out, but somehow some careless boob came and went, and left their mark on our beautiful car. I contacted a local body shop, the technician quoted me almost $2,000 and said he'd have to remove BOTH driver & passenger front doors and repaint them. ??? With all the electronics, sensors, airbags, etc, the LAST thing I wanted was BOTH doors coming off my car for two small dents on only one door. (Side note - this is a 4-door car. Why paint 2 opposite doors?). The body shop guy also said he'd have our car for a week or more. Ummmm, no. Enter Dent Dogs. I stumbled on their Google listing while I was casually perusing body repair while waiting for a Dr appt in SugarLand. I noted the information and sent Chad a message with photos once I was back home. I honestly didn't expect much, because most of the reviews I'd read for other dent repair companies in the area were AWFUL. Chad got back to me and gave me a quote of $100 - $150. After talking to my husband we decided to go forward. I scheduled an appt with Chad on the same day as my follow up visit with my Dr. I liked the fact that Dent Dogs operates out of a Mercedes dealership. A dealership isn't going to allow a fly-by-night or substandard provider operate on their property. Upon my arrival Chad met me in the parking lot. He walked me in to the dealership, Mercedes employees greeting him by name along the way (additional comfort - people there know him) as he seated me in the lovely waiting area. I waited maybe 45 minutes before Chad informed me my car was finished. I went out to the parking lot to see the final result. I'll be honest, I was extremely skeptical, because like I said, there are A LOT of negative reviews online for similar companies. What did I see? I couldn't find evidence of either dent! I was so shocked and impressed I almost wanted to cry (those dents were SO upsetting - this was our first car purchase after having driven our previous car for 15 years after we bought it new) and REALLY wanted to hug Chad! Our car is just like new. I gave Chad a nice tip, and he earned every dollar. Photos are before and after. It's hard to photograph because of the reflection, but PLEASE take time to zoom in and see the absolute miracle Chad did. Dent Dogs is in my "Favorites" and I would recommend them in a heartbeat. I hope we never need Dent Dogs again, but knowing how inconsiderate people are, I'm relieved to know I have such a valuable repair technician at my fingertips.
