They did have the best price, but quality was not that great. Had my wheels powder coated and my front bumper and roof painted. When I picked my car up the blinkers on both sides was not hooked back up along with the left fog light. These are fixes that would not take me long so I continued home. There is also a scratch on the bumper that they touch up painted and you can see it. The powder coat on the times is not consistent and you can see some of the original color when the coating is not that thick. See pics

    Caliper painted a custom color.

Anthony from The Coating Place reached out to an inquiry via text quickly even after hours over the weekend. He quoted me a price in line with other shops. I requested my calipers to be painted and Anthony was able to do a custom color with one day turnaround. Definitely recommend.

    Finished job.

I reached out to The Coating Place to get a quote on painting my brake calipers. Daniel was prompt, very professional and the job was priced very fair. I would highly recommend The Coating Place! They have a great all purpose shop off of Blalock and I-10. They have plenty of high end custom car jobs but Daniel made my small job a priority. If you're looking for a good group of experienced auto body painters or a place for custom car jobs, go to The Coating Place! Daniel and his crew got the whole package of experience and know how to get your vehicle looking good!

Fantastic experience start to finish. I had my rims and calipers powder coated and couldn't be happier. Great Price, very Responsive. Dropped off and vehicle was ready next day. Highly recommend.

Scratched up my new car and I was really nervous about getting the dents out. It was no problem for them. Color-match was perfect too. They were able to accommodate me, when I had some scheduling issues. Overall a great experience.

Found some excellent reviews online and noticed "The Coating Place" were close by so i called and talked to Daniel about having my wheels painted gloss black (from original aluminum) and also wanted my Calipers painted red with AMG logos. They gave me a great price and accomplished the work in 2 days. When i picked up the vehicle I couldn't have been more thrilled at the quality of work!!

From the beginning to the end, this company exceeds all expectations…read more  They truly are a one stop shop for everything marketing/business related. From initial point of contact, they really listen to what your goals are. As a business owner, I was blown away by their customer service and the processes they have in place.  I wanted to get my commercial vehicle wrapped, so they instantly connected me with their graphic designer who charged a $300 fee (which was 1000% worth it) and she drafted up 3-5 proposals and mock ups for my vehicle. I am very particular about what I want, but they were able to exceed my expectations on design. They pay close attention to detail and have QUALITY work. I ended up being so pleased with my wrap, that I ended up having them do all of my marketing material/ apparel with them. They embroidered over 50 shirts/hoodies/hats for me which all came out amazing. I have washed these shirts many times and the quality of the print and embroidering is all still good as new.  You can tell they really love what they do and customer service is what they strive for.  Visit their shop. You won't be disappointed.

Promises and BS with no intention to follow through. I was referred to Rocket Wraps by a friend…read morewho had a couple wraps done on company trucks that looked really great. I called and gave my info on the vehicle that I wanted to wrap and gave them a few mock ups I had done with AI to show them what I was looking for. I paid for their design team to create a graphic for me, went over everything with the designer and gave them images for my business and logo designs. After a week with no further correspondence, I reached out to the designer to make sure they had all of the images they needed from me and what the ETA was on the graphic. No response. Two days later I called and started what would be daily calls asking for literally ANY update at all and just a ballpark estimate for when the first draft of the graphic should be expected. Every single time I called I was told that they would contact the designer and call me back. They never once called me back. After 2 weeks of no updates, estimates, or correspondence of any kind (when I paid they said it would take 1 week to design), I told them if they couldn't give me at the very least an ETA by the end of the day I would want my money back. Then I started getting excuses and apologies and promises. I've been with enough "working girls" to know when I'm being lied to. But they gave me a deadline, COB following day, and promised they would have it completed and would credit the cost of the design to the wrap job itself. A reach-around is common decency when you're telling someone to get bent. The next day came and went with nothing but at 5 AM the day after it was due I got an email saying they were finishing it and would be done later that day. Guess who didn't get a reach-around... At noon the day after, after 6 of their own self imposed deadlines were completely missed with little to no communication, I called and canceled everything. I told them I wanted my money back and that it was the COMPLETE LACK OF COMMUNICATION and their inability to make THEIR OWN DEADLINES. They still hadn't given me the first draft of the designs. But they agreed it was unprofessional and agreed to give me a refund since nothing had been done. That seems lousy but not worth a 1 star review right? BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!!! At the end of the day the designer sent over images that I can only assume were drag and drop image combinations made in MS Paint. Then Rocket Wraps blocked my phone number and my email, seriously, that's how you run your business? Get bent jerks. I know this isn't going to affect your rating, but I hope it stays at the top of your reviews long enough to dissuade someone else from wasting their time too.

After having about 11 people come by to provide bids I started looking for company to help rebuild…read morea fence that can do both wood and metal because I wanted a half metal half wood fence. I decided to go with them because their bid was the lowest but looking back there were a lot of red flags from the beginning of the communication process with this company that I should have considered. For example the owner sent me a side message saying if he were to respond to my message it would cost him $70; and just based on what I dealt with they do not seem to be a established business based on communication, the amount of nickeling and diming done and the final product. For the whole fence, I provided him with a picture of what I wanted specifically for the gates and some images circled and let him know I wanted it to be as long and continuous as possible with only metal cut offs where they needed to be and any extra support can go in the back. He also provided me a picture that had a lot of metal around the edges and I didn't not like that and stated it was too much metal and again provided him with my photo. This was the only conversation we had about the gate and when it was constructed it looked like the photo he sent vs what I sent. And instead of acknowledging his error he was rude and combative and his brother had to step it. That was the begging of a whole lot of other issues especially them nickeling and diming me for all of their errors that were a result of terrible communication from him. They charged me a flat fee to build the fence "professionally" and it looks a mess, there is nothing professional about it and also tried to hit me with fees for stuff that was included already in the price to rebuild so that is why I know they are a new business. The slide gate is not sturdy and they had to cut a whole in my other wood to make it functional, that I did not know about. They also installed the sensor wires on the outside which could easily be cut even though I expressed safety concerns throughout the whole process. When they were installing the sensors I was outside because they were 2 hours late and it was getting dark so I had my car headlights on and he never asked me anything about it and when I spoke to him about the placement he said it would delay the project and he needed to do what was best for him. After the wood sat in the sun for like 3 days the slide gate stopped closing because the sensors shifted and sounded an alarm with an error code of 71 every time you tried to close it. The only way to close it was to hold and after contacting him he blamed it on me after not responding for 2 days (see attached convo). I had lift master come out to fix it and it turns out they were a lot of issues like not installing all of the wires correctly etc. one of his friends did the install so I am not sure they were fully authorized to do it. The walk-in gate looks awful it was not measured correctly and it is not fully functional. He also agreed that the gate/fence does not look right which is also my fault according to him because I purchased my own wood (see attached convo). He also told me that it was "hard to install gates" and that he would have had to do extra stuff to make it even which was like what do you mean that's what you were getting paid for! For every complaint I had his response was, it's going to cost you to fix it. They just left me with whatever and now I have to deal with it. Now that the wood has been rained on and has settled the walk-in gate no longer stays closed at all and randomly opens. I provided them with the lock well beforehand and it's not operational. They screwed the key frame into the slots that the other wood is screwed into so the nails do not stay in place and a part of it has cracked off due to the gate slamming when it opens by itself. The metal part that is supposed to latch does not fit so it just does not stay closed. They also did not add support beams to the back of the fence so the fence bubbles out and caves in and is wobbly in certain places, especially places where the metal posts are because there are no screws there. Overall the did an awful job and they left me with a mess that killed my grass and and did not not finish painting. There are sooo many other things that I can highlight but this review is long enough and I can only add 10 pictures! 10/10 do not recommend!
