I specifically requested only a slight A-line so the front would still be long enough to pull back for school. During the haircut, it became clear that Maddie was having difficulty getting the cut even. Lacey eventually had to step in and help correct and finish the haircut. It was only after this happened that I learned Maddie was still in training and very new. Everyone has to start somewhere, and I understand that. However, I believe I should have been told when I made the appointment that Maddie was still in training. As a customer, I should have been given the choice of whether I wanted a trainee stylist or a more experienced stylist for my granddaughter's haircut. As Maddie struggled to get the haircut even, she stated that my granddaughter had been moving around, which she offered as an explanation for why she was having difficulty getting the hairline even. I was watching the entire haircut closely, and my granddaughter was sitting exceptionally still for a 6-year-old child. What added to my frustration was that Lacey later stated that she could not achieve the dramatic A-line I had requested. I immediately corrected her and explained that I had never requested a dramatic A-line. I had specifically asked for a slight A-line with enough length in the front to be pulled back for school. When Lacey became involved, I politely expressed concern about the undercut because it did not appear to be cut properly. Instead of simply explaining what she was doing, I was told, "I know how to cut hair, ma'am. I can assure you. I'm trying to get it even." The response came across as defensive and snappy. I was not rude or confrontational. I simply had concerns about the haircut and expected a professional explanation. To be fair, the haircut did improve after Lacey stepped in. However, the finished haircut is still uneven from side to side, and there is a noticeable gap in the back. When I pointed this out, I was told that she could not get it even and could not fix the gap at that time. I was advised to let the hair grow out and come back later so it could be corrected. I was also disappointed that I was still expected to pay full price despite the problems with the haircut and the stylist admitting she could not get it even or fix the gap in the back. No discount or adjustment was offered. I chose not to ask for a refund or make a scene because I did not want to upset my granddaughter. I paid for the service, left politely, and did not leave a tip. We had also planned on booking an appointment for my daughter for a pixie cut and color, but after this experience, I no longer feel comfortable trusting this salon with her hair. My granddaughter left happy, which was what mattered most in that moment. However, between the uneven haircut, the visible gap in the back, the lack of transparency about the stylist's experience level, the defensive response when I expressed concerns, and the fact that no attempt was made to adjust the price despite the acknowledged problems, I will not take a chance again and return. I'm sure there are other stylist who are great! however, I am scared of being disappointed again.

Well when she said they were in we made an appointment and she proceeded to say that she didn't order them from the site we normally used that she had to order them from a different site because Donna Bella's site was down. I trusted her. Paid $300 for her to put them in, even bought the special brush. They were aweful. They tangled and she everywhere. So few months later I contacted her and said that I would like to get them taken out and gave her another $300 to order from Donna Bella. So when they came in my daughter went up there and it did take her a while because they were so knotted, she even had to cut some out. By then it was late and They were both tired she charged $300 and didn't even put them back in. I still have her the benefit of the doubt and knew she had spent a lot of time. Well fast forward 5 months I asked her for the extensions thinking she saved them. Nope, she said she "got rid" of them. And she would try to make things right. I told her I just wanted my $300 back and she proceeded to tell me she saw my daughter a month later at Walmart and she had fresh highlights so she assumed we weren't going back to her. And that it was as considered abandoned property and she could do what she wanted to with them. Texting and calling didn't work so at this point I'm washin my hands and obviously she needed the money more so just a warning!

I don't know what happened to him but my hair got worse and worse with the last 3 appts I had. The last appointment I with him lasted 7 hours because he FRIED my hair. I left with broken, dry hair with different shades of blonde, orange, brown and purple (toner). I literally looked like a striped tiger. AND he bleached the back of my shirt and said NOTHING to me. I don't mean a small spot I mean the entire upper half of my shirt. He let me leave looking there looking like a friggin hot mess for the cost of $300. He tried to hide how bad it was by cutting so much of my hair off and curling it so I wouldn't notice. I didn't have my glasses and I wa so mad about being there for so long that I just left. Which was my mistake, but most of the damage was in the back and on top of my head were I couldn't see and was a COMPLETELY different color than the front. And, my husband is the one who asked me what happened to my shirt. I knew it was wet, but I didn't know it was bleached. I was livid. Thankfully, I found someone who was wonderful at color correction and she knew EXACTLY who did this to my hair because he has a reputation in the hair community.....and not a good one. I now know why he is pretty much the only stylist at his shop. Stylists don't want to be associated with him. When you catch him on a "good" day you woll be pleased(read between the lines on what is happening with him) but if you catch him on a "bad" day, you are screwed.
