I returned today after 5 years without a hairstylist (since COVID) and after trying another hairstylist near home which turned out horribly. You can look for that review elsewhere if you want. I was ecstatic that Becky was still here as she was my hairstylist for at least 6 years prior to The Shutdown. I found her after my other stylist moved to up state NY. I can't travel there to get my haircut. But I can travel to Ocean Pines when visiting OC. Don't be put off by the look of business sign (needs some sprucing up) or the exterior as the stylists inside are wonderful, professional and talented group, many have been there for years. I personally go to Becky Ange and from the 1st visit years ago to today, she listens, knows how you look when you walk in & works with you & what you want, either a huge change or keep what you have, but just improve it. My hair always looks beautiful and I always leave feeling so good about myself. I went back to her today as I was tired of cutting it myself & my attempt to find someone closer to home did not work out well & I desperately needed her & ONLY her to fix a bad haircut. She is excellent! I've since been back a few times. She listens to what I want in a haircut & adjusted my color until I was satisfied. Beware of the stylist and colorist Christine! She is very controlling . She does what she wants, not what you ask for. She is also very very moody. She also charges you for stuff that you didn't ask for. read more

This past Friday I called Headlines and spoke with John. I was up front and said I was newly retired in Bethany Beach and didn't have a stylist in the area. I also have my Son's wedding coming up the following week and needed someone who knew what they were doing with highlights and cut. John gave me an appointment with Kelly the next day and said trust me, you won't be disappointed. I'm not. Kelly did a excellent job with my highlights. I went there for a cut and while Megan was washing my hair she asked why my face was red and thought I had a specific condition and I said I had rosacea and I felt very uncomfortable because you don't ask about the way a person looks I mean if a person came in with a big mole it's inappropriate to ask about their mole very unprofessional I gave her a good tip but I will not be going back there again. I feel ugly enough as it is without someone else pointing it out. read more

Becky was awesome!! I took my 15-yr-old son to her. He wanted a hair-style, not just a cut. She matched the photo he brought in (George Harrison) and the result was amazing (an even better modern approach imo). She really listened to him. She was meticulous. Showed him how to blow out his curls and how to use product. He is very happy (and so am I). And she was very nice too. Highly recommend. read more

The salon looks nice inside; there was a pleasant feel to the place. The receptionist patiently explained the price tier according to stylists for what I wanted, which was just a simple cut. She matched my preference with a stylist and I had an appointment scheduled for later that day with Susie. Susie was a good communicator with me, asking me what I wanted to have done, as well as offered suggestions. The outcome was a great-looking cut that I was pleased with. While I would enjoy trying out different stylists each time I return (and I'll be back!) -as is my nature to want to try new experiences- I'm not sure if I ought to risk it: I know that Susie did a nice job on my hair, and I like the certainty that in the future I'll get a great cut. read more

Based on a review, I decided to try Tara at Headlines. I was not disappointed. The salon was very strict, practicing sanitizing and social distancing. Everyone was very friendly and Tzara did a great job with my short, frizzy, curly hair. I will definitely be making a return to this salon. Have taken my 85 year old mother to Barbara at this salon. Barbara always does a wonderful jub both coloring and styling my mothers hair. She spends a lot of time with her, an awful lot of effort and my mom enjoys the time she spends with Barbara immensely. My wife, used to get her hair cut from a friend who had worked in expensive hair salon, snd then opened a studio in her home. Great stylings. She moved away, and now my wife also goes to Barbara at hair cuttery, Rehoboth, and is just as pleased with the cut and styling, for approx 1/3 the price.
