My go to nail shop! I found it hard to find a salon when I moved to this area but I must say I love luxury spa & nails. Juli's is the most attentive owner I've see in a nail shop. She ensures that you are truly satisfied with your service and experience. Cindy is an amazing nail tech and always nails it with my designs. If you want to make an appointment you can text Julie which is convenient since you can send her design requests in advance of your appointment. My natural nails have improved so much even with getting gel x as they listened when I explained that I have sensitive and thin nails so prefer them not be overly drilled on. This place is my go to nail salon. I use to be very picky about my nails that I couldn't stay loyal to a location, but one day I looked them up texted them for availability and they were able to schedule me in that same day. I've been coming here for over a year and never left. The workers here are so great about making sure that you get exactly what you ask for. I love the input they give when you ask them questions about what would look great. The shop is always so clean and the aesthetic here is such a vibe. I was able to clear up the miscommunication with Julie - she was extremely communicative and helpful so I decided to visit the salon once more. Julie booked an appointment for me and asked to share the design I wanted in advance. When I came in, she already had the colors chosen for me so I didn't need to look through their catalogue. Cindy worked on my nails today and her work was fantastic! She is not only quick, but meticulous. Julie checked in on me a few times to make sure that everything was going smoothly. I asked for similar style magnetic nails again and the end product was night and day difference compared to last time. I want to start by saying I take this review incredibly seriously. I take rating small businesses, especially asian owned ones in Torrance very seriously and tend to give the benefit of the doubt when something doesn't go right. Dip manicure [9/10] : I did dip powder and i thought the color and shape turned out well. There were some scratches / mistakes and not well cleaned but overall I am happy and can manage Regular manicure [5/10]: The color was off and when I asked to switch it they kept saying wait wait and we ended up not switching it. The shape was off, the cut was weird, and they did not clean it well. Honestly, I would have let this go but... Wax [-100/10] this was the worst i've had via yelp. seriously, read through my reviews i am genuinely quite kind about things. i left the shop almost in tears. they missed patches of hair and when i tried to explain, they tried to pluck w fingers and/tweezer. They got cotton on the wax on my skin and hands, and they kept asking me to hold different parts of my skin. it was incredibly unclearly. i was so uncomfortable and i kept trying to tell the lady what i did not like, but she was not listening and kept saying "okay okay". i told her during and at the end that this was a very poor experience because 1) wax left me w a rash and red spots 2) patches of missed spots that tried to be tweezed / plucked w hands 3) cotton on the wax of my skin that was not cleaned edit to say: i took a shower immediately after and found wax on my body ARGH and my skin hurts so much. i have gotten at least 30+ waxes and this was by far the worst i have ever had. as soon as i paid i ran out of here as fast as possible so that i could go home and take a shower. i didn't even bother to put my shoes back on. when i told the owner the best she said she could do was take $10 off and talk to the waxer. i did not think this was a fair experience. all in all, i would say maybe they had an incredibly odd experience, and i would say the dip manicure was great, but leave everything else to another salon. read more

I went in for a basic pedicure and I've never seen anyone point nails so fast. It was just a few minutes. There was literally no shaping or buffing or anything done other than taking off my old nail polish. And it shows. The majority of my nails aren't painted all the way. I'm going to have to they then done again immediately. Not going back there. That being said, the man who works there took over for the massage and he was great. read more

I love how every detail of the design was so precise. Additionally, while it was not inexpensive, it was definitely a great value. I've paid a great more to get a lot less, so I was pleasantly surprised that it was not too expensive. It's nice to get top quality for a fair price, you know? So, this is definitely the place to go to if you have a very specific idea of what you want or if you have a very high expectations of how your nails should look. I saw their reviews on yelp, so I had high hopes. I got gel pedicure and acrylics for my manicure. I showed the manicurist the style I wanted. They were able to do it but it was so-so. I asked her to get rid of the residues. She told me to wash my hands with soap and water and it will come off. Another nail salon had told me that before but it didn't come out. That is why I asked the manicurist (which I forgot to ask for her name) to take it off. The result was okay. I definitely won't be coming here again. read more

Went here to get my nails done for prom way back in late May. I got acrylics and a pedicure. The whole experience was very relaxing. I didn't get cut or poked whatsoever. The lady who did my nails was very sweet and gentle. She didn't quite do the design I wanted but it still turned out beautifully. The main reason I'm reviewing now instead of when I first got them done is because my acrylics are still on my nails, even a month later. Every single one. They don't appear to be even lifting. I don't know what sort of glue was used but it has STAYING power. I'm a dancer and I'm a very clumsy person so I was expecting to break my nails off on accident a long time ago. I have gotten them caught on things on numerous occasions but they're still on my hands. If you want acrylics that will last through the apocalypse, this is the place. read more

Update: owner replied to me saying that her business implements proper cleaning protocols, but I saw it with my own eyes and expect better in terms of hygiene and cleaniness. And yes... I am writing this review "on the right page". ---------- I decided to get my nails done for the first time after four years... I regret it. Although they did paint my nails nicely, they are VERY unhygienic. I kept an eye on the manicurists and pedicurists the entire time, and none of them wore gloves while doing their job. In addition, none of them left the room to wash their hands after touching people's feet. These two manicurists and pedicurists worked on two women, and one of them came to me after not washing her hands. She also INSISTED that I "need to get the eyebrows done to make them look pretty." I saw my pedicurist use a cuticle remover tool, but I didn't see him take it out of those clear blue sterilization pouches. When he was going to cut my cuticles, I saw him take the cuticle cutting tool and wipe it with the towel. Also, when he cleaned up around my nails with his thumbnail, his thumbnail was dirty and was black underneath. Exactly 1 week after I got my nails done here, my big toe on my left foot started to hurt! I removed the nail polish, and, as you can see in the photo, the skin on the side became red and this black spot showed up. A few days later, when I woke up, my toe was throbbing. When I squeezed it, pus came out! I was so disgusted and frustrated! I came here because all of the reviews are positive, but only regarding their nail art, not cleanliness. read more

When we got there every single one of them was very nice, usually rare for a nail salon. Wondeful place for nail service and relax! I drove from San Diego to San Pedro to visit my mom and we decide to get our nails done. Then I found this salon pretty closed to my mom's house. We both had a very good first experience here. The shop is very clean and relaxing. The technicians (I forgot their name) are very professional and gave us fantastic service. I had been looking for a new nail place since moving back home after graduating college, but was having trouble finding a place that does dip powder nails. After searching on yelp for a few days I decided it was time to buckle down and pick a place since it had been over a month since my last service, and my nails were extremely outgrown. Luckily, I found Luxury nails which happened to be nearby. Tina did an AMAZING job on my nails!! She worked quickly but went over her work multiple times to ensure that my nails were perfect. She even fixed my curved right pinky nail with the dip powder :-) I am very impressed by the quality of service and how detail-oriented Tina was.
