I was really hesitant to try this place since there were no reviews online but I am so glad I gave it a shot. Sarah gave me an amazing hair cut last week! I have really long hair and so many times in the past I've had hairdressers chop off way more than I asked for or completely misunderstand what I was looking for...Sarah really listened, offered great suggestions and gave me exactly what I wanted. Great hair salon! My stylist was Pricilla. The wash was nice and relaxing. My cut came out exactly what I asked for. The blowout was awesome! Again taking her time to dry and style. I've been going to Headquarters for over a year and have always left with the perfect haircut! Amanda has great skills in styling, cutting and razor tecniques. To top it off, her shmapoos are so relaxing and scalp stimulating, that one day I just want to go in for an extended shampoo. If I show up early for an appointment, I enjoy watching the other customers reactions to their finished styling. I've never seen anyone less than very pleased with the end results. If my favorite (Amanda) ever hit the lottery and retired ealry, I'd definitely ask Nicole or Tammy to fill the void. The salon is always clean, with a friendly atmosphere. I began as a client of Tammys' when she was a stylist at The Velvet Razor in my hometown of Billerica, MA. (please do not ask me how many years ago that was !!) When I moved to Pepperell, I still traveled back to Billerica to her .She then moved to a salon in Pepperell, then on to Headquarters ,and I have been going there ever since ! I took my daughters there as children, they now go there as adults .Jess is now my stylist .I "tried" her on a request from my daughter, who said she was a former classmate trying to build her clientele. She is most attentive and really listens to what you are telling her in regards to the cut you would like and if it will really fit your lifestyle or not ,and if a color "trend" you are thinking of trying will look good or totally ridiculous.... I have been going to Headquarters since my first haircut and cannot believe I am just writing a review. Tammy and her team were amazing for my wedding day!! They were able to accommodate our big group and get everyone done and looking perfect for photos. It was such a fun morning as well since we had the 5 chair salon to ourselves and she provided coffee and snacks. Tammy did my hair for the wedding and it turned out perfectly and held all day. It looked great in photos - not a hair out of place and I danced all night and it still looked and felt great. Thank you so much!! This salon is also great for haircuts/coloring/etc. As mentioned, I have gone there forever and now live a plane ride away, but still wait to get my haircut here on visits back to MA. I had tried a couple places local to me, but have not found any places that are priced as reasonably and as talented as Headquarters. Jessica cut my hair much shorter recently and when I straightened it for work, a colleague even mentioned that she could see just how good the cut was. read more
