I was pleasantly surprised by everything I had here! The Peachy matcha latte was not too sweet and had the perfect balance of fruity peach and matcha. The Jefferson Ave (salmon lox) bagel with gluten-free bagel was so delicious. I was so excited to hear they have gluten free bagels because of my newly discovered GF intolerance so finding a good GF bagel was golden!! The barista working this day was so incredibly nice and sweet! and handled the incoming crowd with all the food and drinks orders with ease. Solid spot in Bushwich!!

For a few weeks in the dark winter months, Headrest was my religious go-to coffee spot in the mornings. No other spot makes quad-shot lattes around here the way they do. The latte is naturally incredibly strong and the hallmark of a good cafe for me is creativity with seasonal lattes and they have many to choose from. Strawberries with espresso, amazing. Peanut butter lattes, fantastic. Caramel that still allows for the espresso flavor to come through, wonderful. A good place to get a gift card and present to a friend if you want to gift good coffee. The aesthetic inside is also what I want my personal living room to look like. (And you can bring part of it home by purchasing their posters or mugs and get a free drink of any size to go with it!)

We love coffee, and I definitely love trying out different coffee shops. We passed by this small coffee shop witch I loved their decor inside, it was pretty packed but worth the wait.

I saw this coffee shop had the best review on google maps so I decided to check it out. I got the lovers latte which had peanut butter flavor which is always my speed. It looked great and was decently priced as well. They have a lot of latte flavors and most of them looked pretty good

I would give it another star if I could! I've enjoyed and savored every drink i've gotten from here + service is great. The inside is small but I think they make the best use of their space! my favorites: peachy (the matcha here is so worth it!), cha cha (strawb matcha), the apple crisp ( very unique & taste like a refreshing apple pie)

A really great little coffee shop. I love using it as a place to meet up with friends and chat not a lot of room for Laptop work but still a really great place to read a book or chat with friends. They always put a lot of heart and quality into their cups.

As far as the customer service goes I wish it was a bit better. The staff aren't the most pleasant. I do notice they speak more pleasantly to other customers that come in. Not sure if it's a culture thing or could they be discriminatory but it's a bit unsettling. Food: 3.8/5 I only order the poppy seed bagel and that's pretty tasty. Not to doughy although I do have them take out a good portion of the bread because I like it to be extremely thin. Service: 3 /5 Service needs major improvements , language barriers are also a major factor to consider as they do speak Spanish and their primary language. We wanted to try something different after having explored so many of the typical places in Manhattan and Shelsky's came highly recommended While I was expecting a long wait on a Saturday mid-morning, I was pleasantly surprised to find the establishment with only a few in line before us. Now, I was desperately seeking a very simple belly lox with schmear, but much to my dismay, they didn't have any more belly lox. I was heartbroken and had to figure out a plan B While I pondered, the family quickly ordered a Peter Shelsky, a Great Gatsby, and a Fancy Pants. I crumbled in my panic and jumped in with another Peter Shelsky. We also tried a small amount of whitefish salad and a beet/thyme salad The service was quick and we were able to grab two of the three small tables at the front to enjoy our fare. Soon we were digging in and from the immediate silence, I could tell everyone was enjoying their choices. The bagels were on the smaller side, denser with a firm crust. We did enjoy the bagels, but I could see how someone not familiar with this style may find them too "cardboard-y" I have to say, the pickled herring on the Peter Shelsky was fantastic, but was way too overpowering for the nova and sable. I actually regretted my choice and would order something more sunken next time. (Or get to the store earlier to beat the rush for the darn belly lox!) The beet salad was quite a nice balance to for the bagels adding a bit of brightness. The whitefish salad was solid - a hint of smoke and a creamy puree. Some who prefer a chunkier whitefish salad might find this less than satisfactory, but the flavors were great A cure store, friendly and patient staff, a great first exposure to Brooklyn for the boys. We'll be back (and we want belly lox!!)

It can be hard to move around inside, and they go through tickets so quickly that it's easy to miss your order if they can't find you. I'm not really complaining because that's part of the rush, but it can feel a little chaotic. My last visit was a bit below par. It's a pretty spacious bagel spot with ample seating menu's with pricing for all items they sell which is helpful. Food: 3/5 I ordered a jalapeño bagel with turkey bacon, and scrambled eggs. The bagel was okay nothing to rave about your standard bagel. Nothing to make me fave about it. The texture was chewy and a bit doughy if you like your bagels that texture this may be the spot for you. Overall my bagel was about 10-12$ I believe. They charge extra for a rainbow bagel and other specialty bagels like jalapeño. Which is pretty expensive so make sure you're aware of that. Service: 3/5 The customer service was mediocre. The guy at the front wasn't the most pleasant. Very much get you in an out top of place. They weren't rude but not the most cheerful I'd say.
