I was scheduled with Michaela for a Halo face framing type situation and was greeted very kindly by her and everyone else at the front desk. They offer you water and other beverages there as you arrive. There is also local crafted jewelry in the sitting area to browse. Getting back to hair, Michaela was very personable, funny, nice, and professional. The experience was nice and it feels like you're just chatting with an old friend. Honestly I probably chat too much but the story of my life LOL. They take you back to the hair washing area which is quiet and Serene, ready for relaxation. They also offer you and I mask type essential oil situation where you can pick different scents. After your hair is done washing you get processed and then you go back to your sitting area. It took a little bit to get my hair to the desired look but Michaela and the salon made it very easy to work with and get the results we were hoping for. I had come prepared with a few pictures of the cut that I wanted and Tasha did a good style consult, even asking how much time I usually put into doing my hair, if I flat iron, and what products and color I use. Tasha was very friendly and upbeat. We had an easy and constant conversation. When Tasha was done, she asked if I liked the cut, and did some extra shaping on the back where I was concerned about the way it was laying. After I was satisfied, she even went so far as to say that if I still wanted it shorter after I washed it the next day, to just walk in and she would do it, no charge. Overall, great experience. My friend and I were in Lillington and needed to get our nails done so we tried this place. The…read moreguy that did my nails was so fast and rushing through, that he didn't hear what I wanted. He filed the sides of my nails really far in and only put 2 coats of dipping color on so it is a little see thought. The clear on top has started peeling off after a 3-4 days. He cut my finger with a tool and I showed him the shape I wanted (the shape I went in with) he totally ignored and did what he wanted which was square. NOT HAPPY AT ALL. My friend had her nails done as well. The guy didn't ask her anything he cut her long (not too long) nails really short, her nails not look they have been in a war. They are coming off and peeling like crazy. It's been less than 1 week and most of them are gone. She had her toe nail polish changed and it was $35, no pedicure just color change. It was all a disaster for us.
