The hairdresser said she could do that hair cut without any problem. Didn't turn out that way. The $30 hair cut was supposed to include a shampoo. No shampoo. Picture I brought in, a simple wedge cut, barely resembled what I received & paid for. The back by neck looked hacked not blended. A weed wacker would have done a better job. They really should have said no openings if she didn't feel like cutting my hair. She didn't do me any favor & I had to have my hair re-cut 2 weeks later to blend in the hacked sections. I've been here multiple times over the past few yrs. ALWAYS the same experience. One operator is a talented cutter, yes, but she always over-steps & manipulates me into intrusive conversation, which I clearly signal I'm not interested in. At one point I even told her, "hey you know, I don't like to talk when I'm getting my hair cut." It didn't matter. She just continued to steam-roll me with slyly worded inquisitive nosy questions. Catty, snooty, manipulative head games, intrusive.... attitudes. They enjoy force-feeding you bs & flattering you while doing a half azzed job on your hair. It's their game. No thanks. I watched her use SO MUCH hair spray on an old lady in a wheel chair, that the old lady started coughing when she OVER SPRAYED her hair for the THIRD time. (Like she was spray painting an invisible wall). I'm absolutely serious, that much hair spray would have triggered a respiratory attack for anyone with asthma. Can anyone say passive-aggressive? Then it was my turn. I've put off writing this review for years, but after my last visit, what I witnessed and experienced, it was the last straw. No more visits for me. I've got a bad ATTITUDE. Do better.

First, she brings me back late for my appointment, i got there 15 minutes early but she still brought me back late. The masseuse wanted me to start on my belly laying on this weird pregnancy pillow. I told her I tried that in the past and it didn't work and she still insisted I try. My whole belly was still touching the table so I told her I'm not comfortable with it. She had me on my side, regular pillow under my head, cushion between my knees and a bolster under my ankles. Nothing for in between my arms. The whole first half of the massage I was so tense and unable to relax. When she had me roll over I was able to relax and enjoyed that half. Then she had my roll on to my back. I told her I can only do it for a short period of time and that I always feel like my boobs are trying to choke me when I lay on my back. She still had me go flat on my back, put a very thin pillow under my knees. My hip hurt so freaking bad the whole time, but I didn't want to complain since I had made a stink about the pregnancy belly pillow thing. I just gritted my teeth and hoped she'd be done soon. She was so rough when massaging my neck and chest, it was so uncomfortable. Then, when I went to pay, the cashier tells me it will be $60. I hand her $80 and she holds up one of the $20's and says "for Amanda?" (The masseuse). I said I wanted to leave her $12 (which is 20 percent, more than she deserved), the cashier has to count on her fingers to figure out my change, I tell her it's $8. She gives me my change and tells me to have a nice day, doesn't even ask me if I'd like to schedule a future massage, which I don't, but it would have been nice to be asked. The whole time she massaged me I thought, why am I paying for this, it feels just as good if not better when my husband massages me. I have been looking forward to this for weeks and I feel so let down. I was in so much pain coming off the table from being on my back. *sigh* I will never have another massage here.

I had a good experience with her straightening my hair before so I went back. I thought she was a good person who just messed up until instead of owning her mistake, she tried to lie, cheat and gaslight her way out of it. Instead of doing a good job on my hair she edited a photo to make it look like she did as an excuse not to refund me any money. If she would have told me I can't do what you want but I can give you regular highlights, I would have said no thank you and left. I NEVER expected her to fabricate a photo to skirt culpability. She sold her integrity for $365 and revealed herself to be an untrustworthy person with weak character and morals. The owner is going to comment about how the lighting in the salon made my hair look like that but Irene, you need to stop gaslighting me. I was in your salon under the same lighting that the (edited) photo was taken in and my hair looked nothing like it. Otherwise I would have left happy and been upset later. And that's not what happened is it? Stop gaslighting me. But if you're sticking to that then who wants to go to a salon that makes their hair look COMPLETELY different from what you went there for as soon as you walk outside? This all could have been solved so easily if Melissa said I'm so sorry, I misunderstood what you wanted and did something completely different--instead of doubling down on her lies and getting the owner to co-sign them. Bri the stylist the last few years constantly cancelled and rescheduled appointments, leaving me to book at another location/ with other stylist. I'm tempted to post 2-3 years of texts messages of her cancelling and rescheduling not including all of the phone calls made by the receptionist). This wasn't for family it would be for social events, to extend her vacations or if it wasn't to cancel the actual day, it would be to move my appointment up hours earlier the day of or the day before. I'd say 80- 90% of my appointments were rescheduled/ cancelled over the last 2/3 years. Most recently I had to book with another stylist at the other location (see review) who destroyed my extensions. My new stylist confirmed the incorrect placement and the inability to salvage them. When I complained about what had happened I was told to buy new extensions at my next appointment. These still had at least 6 months of use and are very expensive. I refused to let the stylist who then tried to lie about what happened fix my hair and have me pay for it. If she had taken responsibility for her mistake I would have felt comfortable with her fixing it. I insisted for a refund for the cost of only the cut and move up (not the color, she did a good job on the color) and was met with back lash since "they don't do refunds". They threw in my face the fact I was in the hospital and had to last minute canceled (2 hours before my appointment) as I didn't contact them sooner because I was sick and unable to ( they evens called it a no show). All while failing to see how she cancelled/ rescheduled the majority of our appointments the last 2/3 years for social engagements. I had only last minute cancelled once in about 10 years. And we parted ways. The entire situation was handled unprofessionally and inappropriately. Bri had other wise done an excellent job on my hair over the many years I had gone to see her. I'm happy to say my new salon respects my time and my schedule, is consistent and the quality of my extensions is much better. It was for the best.
