I was looking to find of promotional rate that led me to heal me massage therapy through Groupon. Glad I found it. Rawan is an amazing therapist who knows her stuff and is a strong, applied, therapeutic masseuse. She used techniques to deeply penetrate all the knots as well as soften the facia to enable healing of my labral tear and knee. I have to say she really knows her stuff and I was so much more flexible after one session. It was better even the second time when she used a cupping technique that totally improved the fascia and circulation along my IT band. If you are like me, having tightness in my legs from strength training and competing, then this will benefit you greatly! Today I had a cup method applied to my legs to deeply release the fascia. This will loosen my legs and give me not only relief from soreness, but will allow me to train at my full capacity. Over a series of sessions I can see myself increasing my squat and gaining strength by having her work on opening my hip flexors. This is by far the best massage I have ever had. Rawan is attentive and is very knowledgeable. Even more than that though is the great service I received. Any other time I have received "an hour massage" the time slot is for the 60 minutes, but whether it is my fault or the masseuse is running behind, it was usually about 45 minutes. Not the case here. I was running late and arrived at 7:05 for my 7:00 massage. It was the last appointment of the day and by the time we finished the paperwork and discussed my issues th massage didn't start until about 7:20, and she stayed the extra 20 minutes to ensure I received an hour of massage. Not living in the city, I was very lucky to find Rawan. I had the medical massage for shoulder pain in both shoulders. A pinched nerve and rotator cuff issue. She is extremely educated in anatomy and knows how the body works. She spent almost 4 hrs with me. Not only did she do a very deep tissue massage and stretching, when she was done, she showed me some stretches to do at home and the appropriate way to sleep, as well as sit at the computer to help alleviate and prevent further pain. I have been to Heal Me Massage a few times, and each time has been a wonderful experience. Rawan takes the time to ask questions to get to the root of the issue with your pain, and then she provides with you information in how to fix the issue. I was pretty far along in my pregnancy when I went to Heal Me Massage, and it helped tremendously with my back and hip pain. She provided me with very helpful information in how to sleep with my pregnancy pillow, and from making that simple change with the positioning of the pillow, my pain disappeared. I had never heard of a medical massage and didn't know what I was in for. I booked because I have multiple injuries and fibromyalgia so massage helps once in a while. I spoke to Rawan when I got in and she explained the process. Price never came up. She was incredible!! I asked questions and she explained what she was doing the whole time. She moved parts of my body and asked where that hurt. Then she fixed it!! I lost track of time but she worked on me for 3 hours. I was shocked when she told me it was $250 but found it worth it. I was a bit more shocked when the tip was automatically added to my credit card. I decided to stick with the amazingly great feeling I had.
