What I loved most about her technique is that you can tell she's really untangling the fascia and muscles without excessive pressure. She approaches the sore spots with an efficient, slow motion kind of stretching sensation, really working with your body and the tightness as opposed to just jamming pressure. I felt so much relief during the session, and felt so relaxed for the remaining days after. Another positive note to mention is the next day I did not feel any soreness in my upper back. Again, considering the fact that she spent 75 minutes in one concentrated area and I felt nothing but openness afterwards speaks volumes of her careful attention to her clients. They didn't give me a clear answer so I offered 21% on top of their rate. The masseuse proceeded to scoff at the number and acted insulted then walked away. The funny thing is, had they just been clear about what tip they wanted, I would have paid it no problem. Instead I had to just walk out of a very off putting and unprofessional situation.
