My mom booked an hour's couple massage as a Valentine's Day gift for my boyfriend and I. We've both been here in the past separately and absolutely loved it; this time, however, wasn't nearly as pleasurable or satisfying. While the ladies were very kind, the service felt extremely rushed, and my massage barely included my whole body, which is what was paid for. She focused on my back, neck and head. My arms, legs and feet were neglected, and ghost over. Some people have a heavy hand and I'm sure I've had quite a few knots, but my last massage (a few years ago) blew me away in comparison to today. Update: I woke up from a nap and I am in excruciating pain all over my upper back, neck and my head, and called only to be asked why I didn't make a complaint in the spa, when I was willing to let it pass. I want a full refund for the services done extremely poorly and will wait to hear back from the manager tomorrow, because I don't think a gift card is enough severance. Second update: It's laughable, honestly. First, they offer the money back, then say to dispute. No issue. They also act like they aren't the owner to avoid accountability. I will be disputing with the bank. I'd wished I'd seen the reviews sooner, especially the one regarding sexual assault. read more

UPDATE: It has now been 24 hours. I was unable to sleep without painkillers and woke up crying from the pain of my back. I can barely stand up from a sitting position and cannot bend over at all. I am unable to drive because I cannot turn my neck fully. My shoulder is in so much pain that I can barely put enough pressure on a knife to cut something. I have never been in so much physical agony from a massage - please do not go to this business and instead go somewhere where they are better trained in technique and listening to their clients. I went in for a massage here today and was very disappointed. I've been here previously with better experiences than today, but I'm really regretting my choice to get a massage today. I booked a couples massage with my boyfriend. I asked for a hot stone massage, but what I received was more of a deep tissue massage with only a little of the hot stones I asked for. I was not expecting a deep tissue massage and it was very painful - I know I have tension in my shoulders, but I was wincing in pain for a decent portion of what was meant to be a relaxing massage. I'm so sore afterwords that I can barely move my shoulders without pain. The therapist also pulled my head upwards quite hard - I had to ask him to stop it was so painful. I felt dizzy and nauseous immediately after this for several hours - I was seriously worried that I sprained my neck. My neck is now more sore than before I got the massage. I understand some people prefer a hard pressure massage - but I am frustrated that I asked for a hot stone massage but received this. We arrived for our 2pm appointment about 5 minutes early. We undressed and waited for them to knock for about 5 minutes. We paid for a 60 minute massage, but their alarm went off at 2:45. I feel they shorted us on time and expected us to not notice. They also opened the door several times during our massage, and I could hear another person enter and speak with them. I found this very unprofessional during a massage. If I am exposed and supposed to be relaxing, random people should not be walking in in the middle of the massage. We still tipped as usual, but the woman at the desk wouldn't allow us to hand the tips to the therapists directly - she insisted we give them directly to her, which made me uncomfortable. I didn't complain while at the counter because I didn't want to make a scene. But now that I am very in pain I am regretting not saying something, as this was not the experience I wanted or requested. read more

My massage was good. Maria did a lovely job. However, while I was half naked getting my massage someone else came into the room and started massaging another client. I did not know the client, a complete stranger. I could literally hear this woman undressing. They had a curtain up but either way that is not ok very unprofessional. I was really looking forward to my massage but I left completely disappointed. Having been to other places I know what to expect but Cozy did not deliver or even attempt to try. There was no communication, ambient music and no pleasant relaxing scents in the air. The masseuse used a lotion that did not smell good and she is not a professionally trained masseuse either. Her techniques were not conducive to other massages I've received by physical therapists or other masseuses. She Failed to complete the massage in the time allotted and just didn't massage my quads since the clock beeped and frowned when I tipped her. While it is clean and nicely kept it fails miserably at providing good customer service, a welcoming receptionist and a professional massage. I left still aching and not at all relaxed. read more

Came to this spot hoping for a decent massage. Booked two 1 hr massages and got a couples room which was super awkward for me and my friend. They offered to use the curtain but I literally couldn't relax because it didn't extend to each side fully. The masseuse I got was terrible. She had no idea hat she was doing and hurt my back by going over the spine. She literally did not use her fingers and just used arms and closed fists to do the massage. There were extractions but the best part was the massage. I absolutely loved it. Came back for a signature facial and added on a mask. If you can't get way for the weekend, just get a hot stone massage here and you will feel fantastic. They were so kind, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the massage was fabulous. I have been there three times and its great. I am going to keep going back and checking off all the items on their list. My one complaint is that it's difficult to book them over the phone, maybe it's a language problem or they just don't like speaking on the phone - but it's impossible to book an appointment over the phone. Today I booked a massage and a male was to perform the service, again something I never had a problem with here. 1st - I asked for a Swedish massage but after a rub on my shoulder he recommended deep tissue and hot stone * I was in dire need so I didn't really mind this. 2nd and most important - being nude except for undies is already as vulnerable as it gets when you have a stranger touching you. I noticed he was push my underwear's to the side, enough to wear I was exposed. His fingers brushed up against my vulva a couple of times which I figured might have been slip of hand, but it continued. Even when he went to massages my gluteus, his fingers were placed in between my butt cheeks, as well as his fingers rubbing against my exposed vulva again. When I was flipped onto my back, again exposed vulva same fingers brushing on me, until he did a massage to where multiple fingers were covering my entire vulva and he began to "massage" After speaking to a friend of mine who is a licensed masseuse, she informed me that he violated a lot of laws involved in this practice. First of all , I booked an appointment for a 2 massages and 2 facial special for $140 for an hour for 2 people and was charged $310 for 35 mins of a a bullshit 5 mins massage that should have been 45 mins, and "facial" that consisted of a steamer on my face for 5 mins, then the tech literally slapped 3 different products on my face, washed it off, LEFT THE ROOM FOR 20 mins, then came aback and SLAPPED lotion on my face ! The techs loud and were talking the ENTIRE TIME, the washer machine was loud and banging on the wall, 10 different people came in the room, and my massage was so terrible I didn't even know I had one! What a gem!! I can not believe I did not find this place sooner. Extremely relaxing, clean and professional. Lee was an absolute treasure. I originally scheduled a swedish massage, because I had a gift certificate. During the massage I knew I wanted to try something else. When I was done with my massage, I asked my therapist if there was availability for a facial. Not only was I accomodated for a facial, I was able to stay in my same treatment room and relaxation was never interrupted. During my facial Lee did not skimp on any of the upper body massage, even if I just had a 60 minute full body massage. Her extractions were thorough and my skin is absolutely glowing!! I have been experiencing some back pain for the fast few weeks and I decided to give Cozy a try. Upon walking in I was greeted by Lee. She spoke with me for a few minutes about my pain. After, she took me to one of the treatment rooms. The facility is clean, cute, and smells amazing. Lee is a very talented massage therapist. She applied deep pressure to all the areas and even did some stretches to help my lower back pain. I left feeling like a new person. I decided to book another appointment with Lee. 1 star for the bottle of water that was given to me at the end. Worst massage I ever got in my life. I asked for a 90 minute massage which we both set our timers for. In the beginning she barely put any pressure, then she started using her elbows across my bones. PAINFUL. I asked her to use her hands and to massage the muscles and tension points but she didn't know how. It felt as if a child was attempting to give a massage. 15 minutes before the timer goes off, she stops and says she's done. Worst experience in my life.
