What took me so long to get here? I think what deterred me most were the multiple over enthusiastic reviews. If you check some of the 40+ reviews you'll get a sense of why I was hesitant. Honestly, I was just searching for a review I think I could trust. Not to say that the writers experiences were not accurate, but one never knows until they've experienced things for themselves. With that, despite my skepticism I forged ahead. When I walked in at first I was put off, as this is in no way a Dobbs Ferry high end spa, but desperation has its motivation. Arrived mid-morning without an appointment. This was risky as other patrons were already there, though luckily space was still available. My massage area, not a separate room, had enough privacy where I felt comfortable. During my session, realization kicked in noting that bells and whistles were not needed nor were they missed. My masseuse, Amy did the necessary and got to work getting those kinks out of my back. The full body massage that followed from head to toe, with a bit of stretching was an added bonus. To say I walked out happy with my massage experience, justifies a return back to this no frills spot. After 25 years of massages in NYC (Manhattan, Queens, The Bronx) I met the BEST today at Happy Feet. His name is Romay (not sure how he spells it) and this guy is a professional who knows where the pressure points are, how long, and how strong to push. You can tell he has actually studied and knows how to fix your issue. I have sciatica and a compressed disc in my lower back. This is the first time someone has know exactly how to treat the problem. I walked out with NO pain after suffering with this for more than 20 years. If you want the BEST massage in NYC, believe me, you will find it with Romay at Happy Feet. He says he works every day but to call and make an appointment. I was lucky to walk in and gat him, because this guy should be the busiest masseuse in NYC. $70 for 1 hour full body and feet - you will walk out feeling like new. read more

A little busy at times so would recommend weekends during the day to make an appointment. Only thing I would say is make sure your masseuse understands what you want. They don't show you a timer and one time I asked for 30 minutes and she ended up giving me 45 and was not that understanding or apologized for the misunderstanding. Amazing Job for a quick 30 min rub with Cupping. Thank you! Most people that are very flexible have a type of tissue disorder that responds well to pulling blood through a muscle spasm, in order to get pain relief. Cupping is my life saver. read more

If I had to give a serious rating it would be -0. I didn't like the massage at all. My whole back hurts because they climb on top of you and do it in a way that is abusive to the body. I don't recommend it. read more

My daughter and I went here yesterday for a nice relaxing massage and instead we had elbows and fist in our neck and back and I almost left after five minutes but Mike asked me to give him another chance and he put oil on my back and it was a little softer from when it started but he did not focus on the part of my back that was bothering me and I told him multiple times. They massage the way they want it and not the way you requested. Not everyone wants a deep tissue massage, if that's what that was. Today my daughter and I woke up feeling very bruised and pain. When the massage was over, I don't know why Mike thought it was OK to pull your neck and stretch it in an odd position but as far as I know, he's not a licensed chiropractor and he should never play with someone's neck. I should have known from the second I walked in when they rushed us into a room without asking us what type of massage we want it. I will never ever go here again and maybe I'll have someone look into it to see if they are a licensed Masseuse and possibly a Chiropractor the way he spontaneously twisted our neck in a very odd position. He wasn't the one doing my daughters massage, so I don't see why he thought it was ok to go in her area while getting her massage!! BERY DISAPPOINTED!!! read more

Today was not the best experience. Usually, I enjoy my massages with Peter but phone calls and clients coming in to make appointments interrupted my massage. And, still, I did not receive extra time for the time that I lost for a 60 minute massage. I mentioned this at checkout but I was told that "other people want a massage like me." I always saw this place and wondered how well they work. I finally went in yesterday after coming home from work tired and stressed. I want to do a 45min , the lady convinced me for a $60. As I'm getting my massage the lady is massaging my arm with my birth control stick , I literally had to tell her 5-6 times she's putting too much pressure on my arm before at last I told her stop massaging. She never asked if pressure was okay or did something hurt , like the guy masseuse was asking the girl he was massaging right next to us. After the whole session is done and I'm looking at my $70 bill (bring cash this place can't afford to swipe your card so they charge you the fee). I feel people staring me down and I wonder why so the lady who was massaging me goes and checks the room again and tells the lady in her language "she didn't leave a tip" , "The lady asks me can you tip her " in my head I thought tipping wasn't mandatory anywhere in the United States. I left the bill at $78.60, a tip she didn't even deserve. It wasn't a great massage because if it was I would've made an effort to go to an atm after I was done. Walked in today cuz I've been feeling a lot of tension in my traps from the gym. I was really impressed. My masseuse was incredible, she really got out the knots, actually one of the best massages I've ever got and I've been to a lot of big name places. This place is a good value for your money. I have been here a handful of times for back massages and feet massages. The place is small but clean. Can be a bit noisy and difficult to relax with customers coming in and out, but it is manageable. The staff is courteous. I recommend calling ahead and making an appointment. I've had them reschedule me or make me wait longer than I wanted to but usually on busy days like Saturday afternoons. They accept credit cards and can add the tip on the bill which is very convenient. You pay an average of $1 per minute for most services. I recommend this place. read more

Made an appointment for 4 pm but was running late so I called and asked if it can be pushed back to 4:30 and they were very accommodating! Smelled amazing, the music is relaxing. The lady in the front checked my temperature upon arrival (which I love to see businesses actually following precautions and Covid protocols) and they do give out masks if needed. Just finished my deep tissue massage with Lisa. $65 for a full hour and they give you a complimentary hot stone therapy thing which I plan on doing next time. Lisa really worked out the kinks and my shoulders feel much more relaxed. They don't use private rooms here, instead it's curtained off beds. They'll ask you to fully disrobe and do some parts of the massage with a towel over you and others with full skin contact. All in all I'd definitely return for more. read more
