Dr Belknap is snarky, rude, judgemental and perpetually cranky! Today we can add coward to that list! We had a billing issue which I was told had to be discussed with him only. He refused to come to the desk and related info through his clerical help, putting her squarely in the middle. He told her to tell be he was not adjusting my bill (as he should have-long story) because we are "always late." That's a total lie!! When I asked for him to come out and give me proof he refused to show his face. I left. Then called back to speak with the office manager, Maureen. She was less than helpful. We won't go back! To my horror, it was a psych ward that treated me and other patients horribly, stripped us of our rights, lied to us, withheld necessary medication, stole my personal property and held me against my will. I tried DESPERATELY TO LEAVE once I was behind the last locked door, but all my pleas were ignored for days. They do not care about your mental health- they will actually DESTROY IT. ALL FOR MONEY!!!! PLEASE, if you have had a bad experience here, contact the COHASSET POLICE DEPARTMENT at 781-383-1212 and/or contact the MA DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH AND ADDICTION SERVICES at 617-626-8000. I know MANY of us have been trying to speak out about what happened to us there.
