I've always had a good experience with Healing Hands. I use them mostly as my "emergency" massage place - when I pull my neck or wake up stiff and just need a gentle hour or loosening. They always can get me in the day I call, sometimes within two hours or so. If I want a super excellent massage with someone who has been doing it for years and years, I usually head in to the city. Kat has been my massage for the past 6 years or more. She is so knowledgeable, and knows exactly what I need in order to get pain relief. I have scoliosis, and many joint issues, Kat has been able to help me decrease my pain, and offers alternative therapies such as cupping, and understand the physiology involved to help reduce pain. I've had a deep tissue before that felt more like a Swedish, so I was really excited to have someone give me a deep tissue that knew what they were doing! She was sweet and thorough. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Healing Hands! I have been to the Downingtown and west Chester locations and I have always been seen on time and have always left very happy. Tiffany is awesome!!! She is so thoughtful and skilled and she always does an amazing job! I find that the pricing is very reasonable. I have been to other places in the area for massages and I find that a lot will cut the time short or try to sell you "add on" services. At healing hands, you always have a full 60 minute session (assuming you as the client come in on time of course) and they do a great job! read more

I love Healing Hands Massage! I recently went twice in the same month and had pretty good experiences both times. The first time you go, they make you fill out paperwork which takes a few minutes. Unfortunately, this cut into my appointment time so although I paid for a 60 minute massage, I actually got a 50 minute massage. I understand they need to stick to appointment times but I wish they had told me to arrive early enough to complete paperwork. The second time I went, I had Kate and she was AWESOME! She was very thorough and professional. She gave me a full 60 minute massage like I had paid for, and it was the best massage I've ever had. read more

They were able to take my appointment same day, which was great since I had some unexpected time off from work. The massage was very nice. However, I should note it seemed more like a "medical" massage than a "relaxation" massage. This is not a Spa - no posh waiting room, no changing/shower facilities, no comfy bathrobes, no scented oil options. Since it was a last minute appointment it fulfilled my needs...I had a royal back pain...but it wasn't somewhere I would go for a girls day. The facilities were clean and the staff was friendly. The first time I went there they made a mistake and canceled my appointment and booked someone else in my place. My husband was really sweet. He had booked me the appointment as a treat because he went away on business while I was at home taking care of our newborn. The appointment was hard to get so I canceled a PT appointment to go. When I got there and my name was not in the computer the 2 women who were there were incredibly rude about it. Later, the scheduler realized what had happened and gave me a partial credit to apologize. The last time I went I received the worst massage I had ever gotten. I don't know how to describe it other than bizarre. It was rough, jerky and uncomfortable. At one point I asked the therapist if she could go softer. She seemed to be offended by that. I considered asking her to stop (which in retrospect I wish I would have) but I felt vulnerable and afraid at the time. I wasn't sure how she would react given the crudeness of the massage and her reaction to my quietly asking her to go softer. I was also half naked under the sheets so I couldn't exactly walk out if she did overreact. read more

I have been a client of HH for about a year. They are always very professional and accommodating to your needs. I have been to high-end spas with all the frills and never had a massage like I did tonight. Jennifer was wonderful. She focused on the problem areas while maintaining a relaxing overall massage.
