I cannot say enough how fantastic the experience has been in spite of the circumstances that prompted it being not so fun and actually pretty scary. Ashley has been phenomenal in helping me navigate my injury and I cannot say enough about both her technical skill as a practitioner and her level of caring as a person. She also was a great sounding board as I worked with an orthopedist and a PT. She supported me as I needed to advocate for myself when my pain was minimized. Of all the treatment options, this is the one that I've chosen to continue. The space is comfortable, clean, and relaxing. I've never had an issue finding street parking. And I appreciate that I can buy multiple sessions at once to save some money. Overall, it has been years since I've seen a massage therapist I've felt this comfortable with and I cannot recommend Sacred Space enough.

The place is located on the bottom floor of a commercial space. There are three massage rooms available, two which look to just house one bed each and then one which was able to accommodate two beds for a couple's massage. The whole place was appointed very tastefully, with little touches to enhance relaxation. We filled out a form asking about any particular problems or areas of focus, and we were able to talk about our goals for the experience with the therapists before they started. After we were undressed and on the table, the therapists turned down the lights and there was some calming music played. Our massages were extremely professional and relaxing. I know that I prefer a lighter massage, and Katie was great at making sure that I wasn't experiencing any pain but was still getting the circulation and muscle manipulation benefits. My fiance prefers a deeper massage, and his therapist was able to get some knots out of his neck that have been tense for awhile. The therapists definitely took their time, and we felt like we got our full 60 minutes worth. We left feeling very pampered, and will definitely return in the future!

To start, the space where you receive your massage is in a very zen, cool space filled with things to help you relax and feel comfortable. It is located inside a mixed use building so there were several points where we heard people talking and yelling during the massage, so that was a bit annoying but not Joe's fault. If you're used to a spa like massage, this is not the place for you. That being said, I've had massages in all different types of spaces so I could get over the noise and still relax. The techniques he used were very unique and many I hadn't experienced before. I felt very loose and relaxed afterwards and noticed later that night I was extremely emotional so massage must have worked out a lot of emotions and built up tension. It was a very relaxing experience and the ambient music was perfect. Joe made sure to make sure I was comfortable many times and didn't talk much during the massage which I appreciated, as some LMTs are chatty when you're trying to relax. He also started off the session by explaining his approach and techniques which I really appreciated and helped make me feel comfortable. I will definitely be going back to him for a second massage when we pull out of the COVID orange-zone.

She started by getting to know my skin and it's patterns, and then the actual facial was out of this world. I've never experienced relaxation in such a deep level before. I went every 2 weeks when I was pregnant with my son and they helps with symptoms. Don't walk run for your service!
