I use to be a massage therapist, and you don't just start working with one hand. While the therapist was on my neck, one hand left, and the other hand slowed down and almost came to a stop. I opened my eyes as this was a huge tell for me and I glance up and saw the lights from the phone shining on the therapists face who was bent over looking at the screen. I felt appalled that someone would be that unprofessional that they couldn't put their phone away while a client is paying money for a massage. I don't believe I will go back to this therapist even though it was a good massage and I wonder how many other clients are receiving massage while their therapist texts on the phone.
