I've been going to Elements for just over a year and I've thought I've found the right masseuse a couple of times and then they are gone. I don't ask and they always find a replacement that seems to be better than the last. I don't know if the turnover is real bad here but they seem to find people who are amazing in the their skills. I workout 4-6 times a week and need as much help as possible recovering day to day. The place is always spotless, has a great fragrance about the whole place and the staff from the door to the table are always friendly and professional. Plus they laugh at my jokes like they really think I'm funny. I would and have recommended this place to friends and family but just won't share who works on my muscles. Not that I don't like the person,,,, I just don't want other people to take up all the appointment times and push my schedules out further. read more

Went in for some work on my lower back and hips and I had a male therapist which I normally never have a problem with. But I can tell you I will ever go back to Elements or maybe a male therapist ever again. Bobby moved the sheet too high on my hips and even shifted them higher a few more times. He worked too much on my inner thighs and got too close to my vagina. I felt uncomfortable during the entire massage and too uncomfortable to voice my concerns. I voiced my concerns to the manager who just blew them off. I'm sorry, but if someone is telling you one of your therapists is making them uncomfortable and touching dangerously close to a woman's vagina, how can you just blow them off? I'll never go back. Elements apparently has zero issues with their clients feeling touched inappropriately. read more

They told me to screenshot the texts and send to the manager. I got a call of apology and was asked to rebook. No discount. No free massage. But a good way to run a business. Sara is an excellent therapist! Had more of a therapeutic massage than a "spa-type" and she really got me moving a lot better with less pain. Only down side is she can be hard to get into in my experience. read more

I just found out that my credit card has been regularly charged for a membership for the last 8 months that I thought was cancelled. They put it on hold instead and when they tried to reach me to see if I wanted to resume it they sent the message to a wrong email, then resumed it when they didn't hear back from me. The good news is they are saving me from having to file a dispute with my credit card company because they are refunding the charges. The bad news is I've paid interest on those charges for 8 months, which is probably equivalent to at two massages by now, so I felt pretty insulted when asked if I wanted to keep a couple of them (at my expense) to give as gifts when the better offer would have been to gift me two massages for the money I'm out. Had they done that, I wouldn't be leaving this review. I guess that'll teach me to monitor my statements more regularly and not trust companies to keep their hands off my money. It'll also teach me to never give a company permission to automatically deduct money from my account. Can't trust anyone to do the right thing. Not even the people that are supposedly in business to help you feel less stressed instead of more stressed. read more

First of all I'm not usually one to leave negative reviews but my experience yesterday (9/8/17) for what my girlfriend and I had hoped would be a good deep tissue 90 minute couples massage was FAR from that!!! I scheduled these massages and requested "deep tissue" therapists for both of us as we need and like that kind of massage. I even verified when I scheduled this over that phone that we both had deep tissue therapists and was re-assured that yes both of them were deep tissue therapists. Neither of the therapists were ANYWHERE NEAR deep tissue. I'm super disappointed in the service we received. Neither of us got any kinks or sore muscles worked out that usually do get worked out when we get massages and we both came home no better than when we had gone in... Individually we have been here before and the massages have been average... Hats off to my girlfriend who lied thru her teeth as we left and when she was asked how our massages were she said good. She's not the rebel rouser I am. Additionally she tipped them each 20% ... So...idk what to tell you except that you win some and you loose some there and yesterday we lost out on a 90 minute couples massages... read more

When i left, disappointed,, i tip my therapist before leaving room. The front desk stopped me as i left and asked for tips. And again tried to sell me a package. If I were a rich man, I would pay to have a massage therapist to come to my house probably 3 times a week. Life would be beautiful. Well, Im not a rich man, but I feel like I have a serious addiction to getting massages. I am getting a massage probably once or twice every two weeks. The receptionist was super nice, friendly, and quick. Unfortunately, that was the only positive thing about my experience at this place. I had a really bad kink in my neck/shoulder, which had been going on for over a week, so I figured a massage would help me out a bit. I usually go with a one-hour, so that's what I went with. Call me cheap, but whenever I'm paying for something that's timed, I usually take note of the clock. For examples: 1. My appointment was at 11am.. I guess the previous client before me was running late, which is fine. I thought that she'd just make up for it by running over our "time." I wasn't called in until about 11:05am. 2. After she led me to the room, explained everything and left, she came back at about 11:15am. 3. When she said the massage was over and left the room, I got up and checked the clock - 11:55am. Well, thank you. I paid for 1 hour and got 40 minutes. Not to mention, she didn't even focus on what I wanted to be focused on. read more

I really was hoping for a lot more than what i got out of my first time experience at Elements. I'm new to the area and bought a couple's massage as a Christmas gift to my boyfriend who has NEVER GOTTEN A PROFESSIONAL MASSAGE BEFORE. I myself have had countless, so I do consider myself as a person who knows what I was looking for. I've gotten some of the BEST massages at some of the seediest looking places, but for my partner's first time, I figured we should start his massage journey at a reputable seeming place. After researching around, I decided on Elements. I scheduled an appointment and was not pleased by how far in advance they were booked, but I understood that they are a place that is run primarily by memberships, so I got that I wasn't vip and had to wait my turn... no big deal. I was pleased that they offer "membership pricing" for first time guests. I got a call about 5 days before our appointment and they had to reschedule us for a few days later due to a massage therapist "calling out that day unexpectedly." No worries, we're a pretty cool little duo, so we got rescheduled and were reassured by them that this is unusual and does not normally happen. Now, I've gotten some massages in my life where you say you want a Swedish massage and they are straight trying to dig into your very soul... which honestly after my experience there I would've preferred, but I thought we were safe with asking for medium pressure... my boyfriend is not a frail dude but like I said, I averaged out the experiences I've had with massages and thought we were literally going to get a happy medium. Both masseuses for my boyfriend and I were very kind as were the receptionists, no complaints there. My issue lies with the massage pressure and the length of the massage. My therapist kindly asked me early in if the pressure was adequate and to be honest I wanted to be like, "Girl... I barely even knew you started..." but I politely said, "You can definitely go harder"... I honestly feel like she remembered maaaaaybe cumulatively 2-3 mins through the whole session to apply more pressure at all... it did nothing for me. At all. I am into energy work so I instead just tried to focus on the possibility that she was trying to help move my energy with touching of hands on my body because that's honestly all it felt like for the majority of it. Unfortunately I believe my boyfriend got the same kind of treatment from what he described to me. The MAJORLY disappointing point besides that was the length of the massage. We got in to the room a few minutes past 6pm (time of our appointment) and obviously had to take the time to speak with them on our needs or where to avoid etc as well as disrobing, so by the time we started with the actual massaging part it was about 6:07pm. When they were finished they left the room somewhat abruptly, even in my experienced being with massages I had to Ask my boyfriend if his masseuse said to him that they were done because honestly my masseuse (not to be rude, I apologize) was a bit mouse-y and did not even make it very clear that she was done... and I am a pretty good time keeper so I was like, there's no way that's it! My boyfriend assured me his masseuse said she was leaving so he could get dressed... so I got up to get dressed and looked at my phone... IT WAS 6:50pm. So to reiterate, we got a barely there massage for about 43 minutes. I was kind of not believing my boyfriend but got dressed anyway and they came back in... I asked my masseuse why it was over at that point and she told me that they, "End early so they can get the room ready for the next guests." Well isn't that nice. We weren't even fully dressed and they had stripped or tables and were setting up for the next guests. Afterwards my boyfriend asked me if that was normal and it made me feel so bad when he said, "It felt like she didn't even want to be massaging me in the first place." That pissed me right off. As a former server at a restaurant, tips were essential to my livelihood, so I still tipped them $20 each. PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE and do not go there as a non-member. That place is not for you unless you are. They probably should've advertised for a 45 minute massage rather than an hour to at least be honest and accurate... and for the love of your comfort if you want any type of real touch that seriously isn't just skin deep, ask for the deep tissue. Maybe you'll then get a decent pressure and not waste your money like I did. Seedy looking little parlors for life now for me, they never let me down or deeply disappoint me like Elements did. read more

I have been going to Elements for over a year now and I love it. I have some shoulder, neck and back issues and really need a massage at the very least once a month, although every week or two would be ideal. The therapist I see is Kyle and he does the best deep-tissue massage ever. I always feel so much better when I leave than when I arrived. I used to think that massages were a luxury, but not any more. I believe that it is an integral part of my health regimen and I plan on continuing the practice. Elements makes it easy to schedule appointments and the staff is very friendly and the rooms are all very clean. I've joined their "wellness program" and get a price break, which makes the massages even more enjoyable. :) I always look forward to my next visit at Elements. The massages were mediocre. Also, I had a similar experience as another review here. I thought I had cancelled my membership but it was apparently only on hold. Several months later I discovered they started charging my insurance card!! Without even notifying me. My debit card had been cancelled due to it being stolen so they used my insurance card, without authorization. They did not offer to refund the money, they just said I had 3 credits. I would never use this massage place they apparently do not verify ID to match the card holder, my mother and I have never had a massage here and they have been charging our card for three months and when I called to tell them this they had the audacity to tell me that I needed to come in and sign a form? Why would we need to come sign a form when they are charging my elderly mothers bank card who has never been a patient. I'm filing fraud charges for there failure to match ID to a debit card. It's really good and getting better. There are several massage therapist and often a person needs to try several to find the one that seems tuned into to what is requested and needed individually. There is a real effort to match client with therapist for a maximum experience. I choose not to disclose the one's that are my favorites to minimize competition for appointments. I have tried the cupping technique and it has been helpful - sort of novel to me at first, but I would do it again. read more

Had a 55min massage with Sylvia. I used a first time customer discount from their website. The building is new and nice and clean. They have many therapists to choose from with different specialties. I like that they have varied hours, so it seemed like it would be easy to get evening or weekend appointments. They do bill some health insurance companies, so that is ice. They also offer special pricing if you join their "wellness program" which seems like it might be a good deal. Overall, a great massage and I would got back any time! read more

Very disappointed with the customer service. I booked a couples massage 3 weeks in advanced for a romantic Valentine's gift for my boyfriend. Elements called a few days before the appointment to verify the details and to assure that we would be there. Unfortunately, when we arrived, they told us that our "couples" massage would be in happening in separate rooms. My wife and I went here for a couples massage for my birthday. It was horrible!! The ladies that did our massages hardly even massaged our bodies as they were too busy arguing and fighting with each other while my wife and I lay there naked under blankets. It was so uncomfortable and when asked why we were not talking with them, the short answer was " we would prefer to not be involved with their fight" ps all the arguing was over some role playing game called LARP? Most awful, embarrasing 2 hours ever. Prepare for a novel. So...I went to get a massage after work at Elements. After it was done, I went to get up and couldn't. The pain in my back was so bad, I was in instant tears. I rolled off the bed and managed to get on my feet but bent over the bed. I tried to stand up and couldn't. All my clothes are on the floor. Tried to reach them....couldn't do it. My back wouldn't let me move. All I could reach was my jacket. So I cover myself up and imagine the masseuse coming in to find me standing hunched over the bed, naked, clutching a seahawks sweater and sobbing. I couldn't do it. I managed to get on my pants and sweater and put the rest of my clothes in my purse. Lady comes in, I'm standing there sobbing and tell her I cant stand up. She feels guilty, has to go tell the front desk I need time and brings me tissues. I waddle out of the room walking like I'm 90 years old AND 9 months pregnant and in desperate need of a cane or walker. The three ladies at the front desk know what's going on. They're trying not to look at me and ask if I'm okay....I'm clearly not. I'm ugly crying and my cheeks are black with eyeliner. "Your total is $100, but if you want to become a member, we can save you $25." Uuhhhh....No thanks. I pay. I'm embarrassed and want the hell out of there. Now I'm mad they charged me and even more irritated that they think I would come back. I get in my car, which was a feat in itself, and call my chiropractor. I'm sobbing. Hard. The receptionist on the phone tells me they are booked and close in an hour but I could come in the morning. "I. Cannot. Wait." she says "oh! It sounds like it's bad...." and tells me to come in immediately. Now have to go face the poor receptionist. Cry some more. See my chiropractor and cry again. He does some magic. No massages for me any time soon. Just Ice, rest, heat, repeat. read more

I like my massages relaxing and soothing. This is exactly what I got with Jess. I become so relaxed that I dozed off a few times...this doesn't happen very often for me when I get a massage. She did very little talking which I appreciate. After all, I am there for a massage not a full fledged conversation. She does a great job of working on areas that are troubling you and really listens to what you have to say. They rooms are extremely quiet which makes such a difference for relaxing. I have gotten massages by a few other ladies here, but none compare to Jess. I highly recommend her! read more
