When I returned to New York for a few months, I borrowed a friend's home for Dr. Kleiner to give my dog the necessary vaccines that the Vet in Florida neglected to administer. She is still my go-to vet for everything that is important and she never hesitates to respond. She goes so far as to keep me updated on what my pets are due for. Sadly, I've yet to find a suitable Vet here in Florida. Although, Dr. Kleiner is irreplacable.

We researched and found Lap of Love, and we are so grateful. We called and spoke to Kayla Johnson, veterinary care coordinator. She was so empathetic, kind, and caring. She answered all of our questions and went above and beyond. She coordinated for Dr. Connie to visit our come to help our sweet Lyla girl "cross the rainbow bridge." It was one of the worst days of my life and some of the worst grief I've ever experienced. Dr. Connie was so thoughtful, empathetic, sweet, and caring. She shaved a small piece of fur for us (which I requested), and was so thoughtful in getting a spot with all of our girl's colors while also being respectful to Lyla. She took the most beautiful paw print in clay that we will cherish forever. We chose to have a private cremation for Lyla and we picked up the ashes from our vet in a beautiful engraved wooden box. From the first phone call we made to lap of love, to the very end of recieving the ashes, the communication has been very thorough, empathetic, helpful, and warm. Thank you Lap of Love. First lets sit down, talk about my dogs history and being a new patient let me get a feel about you as a doctor. This man came out of the building asking two or three questions in the parking lot, when I didn't want to give him the dog, he asked me to get leave. What kind of doctor does that? I traveled 25 min just to get there, I would never give him my dog not knowing what he's going to do! Never, have I encounter such a rude and uncaring doctor, if that's what he was, never introduced himself!

I had no issues before then. However, my dog also had the same exact looking cut on his nose in the same spot. It looked remarkably similar, and no one even told me. I just saw it upon picking him up, treated it and now it is a scar. This is really making me wonder. I wasn't even going to leave a posting because I thought perhaps it was just too rough of play and staff didn't intervene. However, upon seeing this happened to someone else's dog, it's making me worry that this is more common than I thought and could potentially be from something besides another dog. Be careful.
