Dr. Lee is so attentive. He really goes beyond what he needs to do. Last summer, my dog had a bad reaction to vaccines (that he got at a different vet) and Dr. Lee acted quickly to make sure he was okay. Just wanted to update this review and say how much I love this vet, and how reliable Dr. Lee is! Our pup got really sick last month while Dr. Lee was away. The vet didn't have any openings but given our emergency they made an effort squeeze us in every time we needed an appointment, instead of referring us to an emergency vet which would've been costly. We were seen by a substituting vet who did a great job, but when Dr. Lee came back 2 days later he immediately took our pup in and got on his case. We were busy at the time as well, and were able to leave our pup at the vet when we wouldn't be home. There they were able to watch him, as well as undergo further examination and treatment, I am so thankful. The following few days, Dr. Lee kept tabs on us and called us regularly for updates. Our pup recovered in about a week and the support from this vet was amazing. read more

Got a free exam because I rescued a cat from the Westchester Animal Shelter. Got a gut feeling the Dr was mean and pretty much a "crabby patty". The doctor looked at me, felt the cat stomach looked in the cats mouth and said oh I would give him back if I were you. I was appalled and I knew the doctor knew nothing. Almost one year later the cat is fine and gorgeous by the way! Yes the cat needed teeth extractions but love brought him back to life. Wouldn't trust this Dr again. It was not Dr Lee but the other Dr who needs to go!!! read more

It didn't heal for about a year, she also had 3 other tumors Dr Lee removed them lots of stitches! They are very Professional, the price to have them removed was awesome, the Dr is Great! I brought in my dog on an emergency visit because she was having an allergic reaction to something and her face was so swollen. I recently moved & the vet I had been previously going to was closed. I called several different places and didn't get a great vibe until I called here. I was very scared because as any animal owner/lover knows, we never want to see them in pain or know what it could be. I had never been there before and they were so welcoming as soon as I walked in the door and immediately I felt less anxious. They put me and my dog at ease. Dr. Lee was knowledgable and clear in making me understand what was needed for my dog. Him and his staff did a great job making my dog feel comfortable (and usually she is very nervous)!! My friend who has a chocolate lab just went to this place and she was raving about it this place is very professional even with the whole coronavirus pandemic going on they still maintains their professionalism. We found this practice completely by accident, but it has been a happy accident. Neighbor recommended their vet but gave me the wrong name of the practice. Pleasantly surprised that they do the first consultation for an adoption for free. Dr Allen and her assistant were very soothing and calmed my usually wiggly pup easily. Pup was already spayed and had most of his shots already so there were few issues. A fecal test did reveal a parasite that was easily treated. I've since made a few calls and have always had my questions answered completely. I just wish they were located a little closer to home! read more

We had a great experience here. We were a little worried as our dog is a bit anxious and he needed his immunizations updated. To start, making the appointment was simple. While they leave you the option of requesting an appointment via their website, we gave them a call, answered a few basic questions, and were able to get a non-urgent appointment the same week. The clinic and facilities are clean and new with a comfortable waiting area and bright exam rooms. The staff were very nice and professional, with the entire process feeling very streamlined. Our veterinarian Dr. Lee was friendly, helping us to relax, and was very gentle and efficient in evaluating our dog. Everything went super well with the vet and they are always listen to any concerns. My only concern was when I first came in. Knowing how unpredictable my dog can be I am very cautious of her surroundings and she has a muzzle for others' protection and I keep her close to me for her protection. With this being said, when I came in there was a dog behind the front desk and no one else there, so, I backed up and waited behind the closed door. After 20 seconds a woman came over and as I came in I asked if the dog was leashed and she questioned me with "Why? Is your dog mean?" I get this question a lot and am passed being insulted and just answer with "she's sensitive to others". She then responded with "Well, she better not come near my baby because I'll fight her". She said this in a joking manner and I completely understand the message behind her comment as I would do the same for my pet but it was extremely inappropriate and with the amount of work I put into making sure my dog is never unsafe and to make sure other dogs aren't unsafe around her I would expect some sort of respect with others doing the same on their end (i.e. if my dog is on a leash and she's walking close to my hip the least you could do is keep your dog away from mine as I'm keeping her away from yours). This lady worked at the front desk and I felt should be trained how to be accommodating to those with "mean dogs" as we are trying to do the best we can to make sure all other animals are just as safe as our own when around each other. Speaking with her later on I learned she was pet sitting for someone and that's who the dog belonged to. It would've been upsetting had anything happened but for the dog to not even be hers, to be on a long loose leash, and to not be put in another room or asked if I could be placed in another room was extremely uncomfortable for the duration of my and my dog's time in the waiting room. read more

We have been pet owners for our 35 year marriage and both my wife and I agree that Dr. Lee and staff are the best! He and his staff helped us through putting to sleep our 18 year old dog, Max. But prior to that, Dr Lee had repaired Max from a tremendous wound from an attack and helped us through some dementia issues he was having. When it came time to put Max down, they were amazing gentle and caring. Dr Lee also went above and beyond the call of duty when we had to board our two other dogs to travel to California for memorial service. When the dogs got ill (probably due to anxiety), Dr Lee sprang into action, making sure they were taking care of and transported to the emergency care over a weekend. We couldn't be happier with Dr Lee and the staff and would recommend to anyone. read more

We had been feeding and providing outdoor shelter for a sweet feral cat when she showed up with a facial /eye issue. I spent hours on the phone trying to find a local vet to examine the cat. I called WPVetHosp and asked if a vet could come to the house because I was not able to drive. Right away they said yes and came and treated her. She was improved the next day but the eye needed to be stained to make sure the cornea was not damaged. WPVetHosp got me right in AND because their location is blocks away, I was not concerned about driving the cat there. They examined her, gave her a few injections and alleviated my concerns with sound medical advice. The total charges were so reasonable I almost couldn't believe the bill. WHVetHosp is not like many vet practices here who charge high fees and push for inordinate medical testing that often serves to raise income and compensate for a lack of diagnostic skills. I highly recommend this veterinarian practice. read more

We recently brought our cat Tripod here to put her to sleep after battling an unexpected sickness. Dr. Lee gave her an exam and started a course of treatment hoping it would work, and that she would improve. Although the treatment didn't work and we ended up having to put Tripod to sleep despite our efforts, Dr. Lee was able to give us a few more days with our baby kitty. I had a horrible experience at white Plains Veterinary Hospital. In January, I brought my 16 week old puppy in for a simple case of diarrhea. The Vet was not knowledgeable about the medical sensitivities of the breed of my dog. My dog is a Collie and has the MDR1 gene which means he is very sensitive to some medications. He was given a medication that broke the blood brain barrier and affected him neurologically. My dog took sick from the medication after the vet office had closed (of course), so I immediately rushed my pup to an overnight animal clinic for immediate care. The overnight clinic did a great job and was able to clean the drug out of his system and he was doing much better by morning. However, for his care at the overnight clinic it was a $2,000 bill. I then took my dog to two other vets in the area who were adamant that they would never have given a Collie the drug that I was prescribed and my collie pup should never have been prescribe it. The doctor at White Plains Veterinary Hospital was even treating my dog for the wrong ailment. The Vet at White Plains Veterinary Hospital was treating him like he had an allergy to foods as well as a gut issue when it was a simple case of puppy Coccidia and it got cleared up after receiving the proper treatment for Coccidia at a different Vet clinic. When I talked to the doctor at White Plains Veterinary Hospital about this issue he vehemently denied that it was the drug that he prescribed that made him ill and it was "something else that he had gotten into." The vet was not apologetic and was very aggressively negative towards me and placed all the blame for the neurological incident on me. My puppy is now 7 months old, never had a neurological incident again, and after receiving proper treatment by a more competent vet, was cleared of his diarrhea/Coccidia. Please be careful if you are taking your pet here, my pup and I were treated horribly, diagnosed incorrectly as well as received verbal and psychological abuse, not to mention we were saddled with astronomical vet bills because of this one vet's mistake. read more
