They kept saying they didn't receive it. I had to contact primary care several times to have them fax the referral to them a couple times until they finally received it. They got a pre-authorization from my insurance company which means they accepted me as a patient. They scheduled me for several visits so I blocked myself on my work schedule. I filled out all the paperwork , showed up at my very first appointment because I was very excited about a new journey and I was told that they will not be able to see me. It was very unprofessional the way that the staff didn't have a clue that they don't accept my insurance until one of the other staff members pointed it out. she said just because they don't accept my insurance, I wont be able to pay out-of-pocket to be seen. They obviously had some discrimination against me. I would never waste my time to see these unprofessional people that called themselves a clinic. They didn't even apologize enough for wasting my time to come in , to fill paperwork and to go back and forth with my primary care.

Louann popped up on a search for nutritionists on Google (another place where I'll be leaving this review) so she's who I called. We spoke on the phone and o told her I didn't think my company's insurance would cover nutritionist visits. She told me she could call them and skirt the rules somehow so that insurance would cover it. This was apparently a lie. I'll get to that later! Let's talk about her "advice." Our visits were usually very short -- in fact, I'd say rushed. She told me to cut back on beer, sugar, bread...and to eat more fish, but stay away from nuts. Common sense stuff. I saw her a few more times, but one day I got a call from my employer and found out I was being laid off from my job. That same day, I had an appointment to see Louann. Right after being told I was losing my job, I called her and told her what happened and that I was too upset to make our appointment. She pretended to care and act concerned. A few days later she calls me and tells me insurance never covered our visits and that I owed her $80. She then told me that she'd turn me over to collections if I didn't. It wasn't so much that I owed her $80...it was the fact that she lied to me about taking care of the insurance. Also, it just at seemed so very petty to come after me for $80 just days after being laid off from my job. I definitely don't recommend Louann.
