The doctors are fine , but the PT dept is run like a mill I was previously at HSS PT and I only…read moreleft because they no longer took my Cigna insurance which is my secondary with Medicare. The PT at HSS treats you individually for 30 minutes and is prompt and on time. At ONS My appt was 10:30 and I didn't see the PT for 20 minutes and I just sat there with a hot towel around my ankle. I kept asking where the PT was and they said she would be over shortly. She spent 10 minutes with me and gave me off to her assistant. When I asked what was the 4th exercise I did on my initial visit she said I have 24 patients and I don't know. I canceled all my other appointments and I'll return to HSS where I can get all my care by a PT. I know this is owned by a venture capitalist and the care is not great and rushed. I suggest you use HSS PT and not here!!!!

I was extremely taken aback when we went into the exam room and saw articles extremely against the RSV vaccine, including fear mongering headlines about infants dying who received it and women going into premature labor. Unfortunately, due to this, we felt this was absolutely not a safe place for our newborn. It's extremely unfortunate because I think natural medicine can work well and hand in hand with conventional medicine and I'm extremely sad we had to make this decision because I do think Dr. Sloves is good at what she does. However, we just couldn't out our newborn at risk and had to find alternatives. If you aren't bothered by this, then it's probably a good place to go

Originally, I came…read moreto see her with a chronic, degenerative disc disorder that had caused me a significant amount of pain for years. I had literally seen seven physicians and thirteen physical therapists before meeting Hope and Dr. Stu Steinman. I had been told by previous practitioners that I would never run again and that I would likely be in some level of continuous pain for the rest of my life. Since beginning treatment with Dr. Steinman and Hope (who are conveniently located in the same building in Norwalk), my back pain has been diminished to almost nothing. I exercise two to three hours per day, including running, without pain. Hope is a phenomenal physical therapist who cares deeply about her patients. She is intuitive, thoughtful, innovative, hardworking and demanding (and I say demanding as a positive, because if you truly want to get better, it takes work). I recommend her to anyone and everyone I speak to (who might have a need) - so it was imperative that I write a review here as well.

I have been to probably a dozen physical therapists over the years and Brian is absolutely the…read morebest! He is a master diagnostician! As an example, I went to him a few years ago because I was feeling that my quads were weakening as I worked out instead of getting stronger. The more I worked them the weaker they got. He did a bunch of mobility tests and figured out that because of a hamstring injury 2 years prior I had adjusted and wasn't properly using my hamstrings and gluts. (It had been so long that I'd forgot I'd injured them until he started asking me about it...) He taught me some simple exercises to retrain my muscles and within weeks I was back in business. I've gone to him several times now over the last ten years and I am continually amazed at how skilled he is. They now use an app that shows me exactly what the exercises are and so I have easy access to them when I get home and I can make sure I'm doing them correctly. The team is incredibly professional and helpful (Thank you again for your help, Ali!). I've been to other places where they used stim so much it burned a hole in my leg. I've been to places where they are working with 4-5 people at a time and you wind up sitting around waiting. I've been to places where they do all kinds of different things but I don't get better. These folks are far and away the best. Don't waste your time anywhere else.
