As stated by others... Healthline is a racket and are crooks. They lied to me about the costs and I did not even receive the correct equipment. When I complained about not getting the right equipment they let me know I owed them an additional $250+ I refused to pay and after 4 calls was finally able to return the equipment. What crooks! Some DME companies can be total scumbags. This is one of them. I started receiving TEXT messages from a "Tammy" after my primary referred me over here. What a complete circus act it's been. So they keep claiming to have sent me supplies via UPS. Here's the thing: I have a delivery notification account set up with UPS. Why does that matter? Well UPS sends me alerts when a package is en route, delivery updates, alert the day before, and day of delivery. So, I ALWAYS know when a package is coming my way with UPS. I didn't receive a notice of any delivery from this clown office. They repeatedly keep referencing a tracking number. They now tell me to file a claim with UPS. Well clowns, you know damn well the package recipient doesn't even do that. IT'S YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO FILE ANY CLAIM ON THE PACKAGE YOU SEND. It's 100% the shipper you dolts. I can't even file a claim on my end and YOU KNOW THAT. It needs to be filed from the shipper's account. In addition, "Tammy" refused to respond to my inquiries and NOT ONE PERSON VERIFIED MY ACTUAL ADDRESS THEY USED even though I made several calls to the CPAP dept and billing in another country and asked them to verify it. Until Tammy was dipping out for her three day weekend at the end of the day, she passive aggressively confirms "my address" and spolier alert, it's wrong. Just as I suspected. Also, they told me several times to contact UPS myself. Joke's on me again. They freaking know you can't even talk to a person over there. I knew that, but I still called anyway to check that stupid box and jump through another hoop. Then the cherry on top, they send me a text on a SATURDAY MORNING, telling me I have an invoice due for the supplies I never received. I never even opted into texts, so this is totally illegal. I have wasted hours of my life trying to fix this. They can go to hell if they think they can scam my insurance policy and BILL ME MORE MONEY ON TOP OF THAT, for supplies they SENT TO THE WRONG ADDRESS. As if all of that isn't enough, they bill under a company Aero something or other and are "Healthline" which I assume is NOT CONTRACTED with my insurance company. Who knows. But, they are a 100% scam, I am sure of that. Next week I am filing an official complaint with my insurance company against these con artists for all of the described ridiculous events. I got my CPAP in October Charge was initially around 420 or so? I did a payment plan and today I found out I now owe over 745 dollars with no answer to it. I have been with this group for a good while. I was given a new machine back in 2021. I stopped using this machine for over a year now. I have tried to get there help in trying to find someone who works on the ResMed Air Curve 10 machine. Each time I called they said they only sell the machines and don't work on them. When I pressed them for some assistance, they told me to call "Quality Bio Medical", then on another call they told me to call "My Cpap Repair", then they had me call someone else with no luck. My wife now has a CPAP unit, and left a Google review about that. I am leaving this review since Healthline double charged us an original $65, four days apart. (They have our credit card number for the somehow necessary $10 monthly charge.) Since we noticed the 2nd $65 charge on the credit card, my wife got it refunded by calling Healthline. So now I am pretty sure I will need to be spending the next 13 months watching out for 'mistaken' Healthline charges on our card. So watch out for extra, incorrect charges. read more

The staff I met initially at my local office Healthline were friendly and helpful. Once I was out the door with my product and relying upon their billing system that was another matter. I was overcharged for my initial transaction, which resulted in issues with my HRA account. Despite several hours on hold and multiple calls between my insurance, Healthline, and my HRA I spent far too much time trying to sort this myself when it should not have been my problem. I did eventually reach a person who has supposedly resolved my billing issues, but that remains to be seen as my repeated requests for escalation and assistance have gone unanswered. Including several callback requests that came the day after or at otherwise unreasonable times. The initial customer facing aspect of their subsidiaries are very good with helpful and attentive staff. Once you're relegated to their billing system ADAPT HEALTH who has absorbed countless small operations, you are out of luck unless you're willing to subject yourself to ridiculous hold times and outsourced help that promises one thing and does another. I was at the doctor on Feb 15th, referral was send me o Healthline, I was on the phone on hold for 32 mins. Patients at times are not compliant with their equipment. My doctor send a new order since Feb and Healthline have not contacted me and still waiting for a return phone call or my equipment since I am an old patient of theirs. In November 2021 I picked up a CPAP machine in Austin . Rep was an hour and forty five minutes late. Company could not find her and I got no apology. I don't know who representative was angry at, but I was polite. Basically dropped machine in front of me and I had to drag with resistance questions. My CPAP machine had already been delayed months. I paid off machine in February 2022. After phone rep called about reordering supplies several times I kept telling them I was getting supplies I blocked them. They kept calling and leaving voicemails through different numbers which I never listened to. Yesterday I get a letter saying I will be referred to a collection agency for rental fees for rental fees for equipment I purchased a year and a half ago. It turns out they were billing my insurances and not getting paid. The billing department has me as zero balance. I have been told this could take up to a week to resolve. One star is overly generous. read more

I am new to CPAP as most are who have to deal with Healthline. Number 1, they were condescending to me when I went in for initial fitting. I asked questions, but they seemed to think I needed to ask many more questions than I did. The person I met with made a comment to me that was very rude and belittling. How do you know what to ask until you actually use the equipment? I have a fairly good grasp on technical equipment, so I had no difficulty in that regard. Score: Me - 1, Them - 0 Number 2, and most important, I call them, leave messages, never get a return call. When I did FINALLY get through last month, the person I spoke with was apologetic and acted like they couldn't understand why I wasn't given a return call. I tried again this month (April 1), and once again, did not get a return call. When I called again today, and spoke to Seema (sp?), she was argumentative and told me something that was contrary to what my doctor's office told me. Not only that, but she told me that if I press option #8, I would get a live person. No apologies for me waiting for 3 days for a return call. I don't know what option I selected on April 1, but whatever option it is, if you LEAVE A VOICEMAIL, SOMEONE SHOULD CALL YOU BACK. NO EXCEPTIONS. How is it HealthLINE when they ignore the LINE? I HATE doing business with these folks and will be asking my doctor who else provides this equipment and service. Number 3, if you are dealing with sleep-deprived people, you should employ the most caring responsive staff. Not jerks, which is my 2 out of 3 experience thus far. I recognize I'm sleep-deprived, but there is no excuse for a business not returning calls to patients. read more

He made sure everything fit correctly. He explained how to clean and maintain it, and gave me printed instructions on everything so I would have all the details. Is it just me or has their customer service gone way down since they were bought out by AdaptHealth? It used to be really easy to use their app to order my supplies but now it's so much harder and the app doesn't work. It really seems that AdaptHealth has no clue about the type of business they bought. Just after they took over they wanted me to send the chip from my CPAP machine to them when Healthline and my doctor have been able to get the data remotely for years prior to that. Things started bad. First they shipped my medical equipment to an old address we moved from over 2 years ago, even tho they read my current address to me. I had to drive 2 hours to pick up equipment that was left at the gate of our old address. Then after getting my equipment and filling out the paperwork, I immediately sent the representative an email stating I could not use some of the equipment - it was the wrong type. 5 emails and 2 months later, I still had no response so I went thru my doctor to obtain the phone number of the company since no-one ever gave it to me. So after a lot of arguing about the timeframe, they did agree to send some of the replacements. If I can find another supply company I'll switch. I don't recommend this one. I did find out that they changed their name. I quit using their old company because of the customer service. Now I find out it's the same company, different name. read more

I left Healthline a couple years back, unhappy with their service. I tried again recently and now I'm leaving for good. The one positive thing about them is they've really got the insurance thing down. If they are on the list of allowed providers for your health insurance, then you won't have to lift a finger. That may be a big positive for you. I found the service kind of awful and the aggressive marketing off-putting. I've developed a specific regimen that I've found works best for me. It involves having two sets of masks and supplies and rotating weekly so I can give them a good washing on the weekend. I tried to explain to the assistant what I wanted, but she had little interest in doing anything except providing me with the maximum amount of supplies that they could bill the insurance company -- whether I needed them or not, and ignoring my requests for what I wanted. In the end I chose to do some supplies "out of pocket" and paid for them, but they were never shipped. (It was one of those foam CPAP filters that are pretty cheap, and it was easier to let it go then deal with Healthline.) The thing that is worst about them is that once they get your phone number, they are super aggressive with robocalls -- even if you ask them to stop. One of the reasons why I was hesitant to return to them is I was fearful they'd restart and sure enough -- in spite of the fact that I told the desk person I didn't want to receive phone calls -- they started up again. read more

This place has horrible communication. From their bills to their personnel. I started with the experience of not get the correct tubing. I requested heated tubing, but received standard tubing. You better believe they billed me for heated tubing though. When I pointed out their mistake, they told me I'd have to wait until the next cycle to receive it... next cycle comes, and I received the heated tube! But was billed a second time... this issue was never resolved, and I refused to pay double. Never received any notice of effort to correct the issue on their part. Not once. Not to mention there are a lot of convoluted descriptions of what you are getting billed for. Seems on the verge of a scam. After speaking with Carecentrix (their bill provider) Healthline should have offered some way to retrieve my CPAP because I was refusing payment, but the payments moved from Carecentrix to Healthline. Which means they start making more money off of me if I refuse the bills. Policy stated they were supposed to attempt a retrieval of the device before taking of the bills. This NEVER happened. I receive to communication about solving my issue, only more and more bills. Then a collection notice. I've been battling this company for months. Do not get sucked into debt like I did. Healthline Medical initially set me up with my CPAP and they were GREAT! When they changed to only offering supplies remotely, things fell apart. People responding to calls remotely know little about CPAPs or supplies. It has taken months and hours on the telephone to replace my headgear and frame. I have not yet received the correct items. My lesson is that I must maintain record of what I need with item numbers or the offsite operators cannot fill orders correctly. read more

I am very impressed with Healthline for my CPAP device. My first impression was based on my interaction with the person who helped me fit my device. She was patient and explained everything. She listened to my questions and made sure I understood the answers. Recently, I had a significant problem with Healthline, I had a customer service rep who gave me incorrect information over the phone in an authoritative manner. Thinking that Healthline was not going to resolve the matter, I fired off an email explaining that I intended to move my business elsewhere at 9 PM. Before 10 AM the next morning I had a phone call from a manager apologizing for my receiving incorrect information. Her solution, which she had already completed, exceeded my original expectations. I like the respiratory therapist, she knows what she is doing, however the company cannot send you an honest bill. First bill they ever sent me was marked past due and included every transaction I had with them to date... problem was it included items I had already paid. I called immediately and the person in billing I spoke to agreed, the bill was wrong. She admitted it was not past due. Finally didn't understand why I wouldn't just pay the amount she gave me on the phone. After some pushing even offering to accept a faxed bill, she promised she'd send me an updated bill in the mail. I waited a month and decided I'd call - I don't want this to impact my credit. I spoke to my RRT and she said she had heard of billing issues and would get me a corrected bill, but by the way you owe ... but that doesn't include a month several months ago because we don't know why the insurance hasn't paid yet. A week later I get a 6 page bill at the end of it it says I owe negative XX.XX dollars. They owed me??!! I email and say apply the overage to the month in question and lets call it even. several days later I get a reply saying they don't know why they didn't send you a complete bill, but you owe... call me if you have questions. How many times do I have to ask for an honest bill that makes sense and shows me what services I'm paying for and what I'm being charged for those services? I still don't know, but do yourself a favor and avoid this mess yourself. read more
