I schedule regular maintenance appointments every few weeks, but every time I've needed to get in immediately (due to a fall or sleeping wrong, etc...), Dr. Chris and his team have ALWAYS welcomed me with open arms. From the staff at the front desk (shoutout to Sydney and Kim), to my absolute favorite warmup/rehab exercise dude (JOSH!!!), Atlanta Spine and Wellness is like the Cheers of chiropractic. Not only are they friendly, but they address all of my concerns with a clinical (and somehow personal) approach. Dr. Chris has helped my spine SO much. When I have questions, he breaks it down to explain as detailed or high level as I want. He has given me exercises to improve my posture, and countless product recommendations to improve my quality of life outside the office. They periodically host small holiday parties and giveaways (things like massages!!) with raffle tickets every time you come in for a visit. As for insurance, I'm not sure what other plans the office takes, but I use BCBS and my services are relatively affordable. Bonus points for Dr. Chris: he is also a metro Detroit native! Go blue!

It is a nice, clean office and they had same day openings, but they don't practice chiropractic support the way I'm used to it. No adjustments etc,. Instead they have this machine that gently taps the base of the neck (the "nucleus" of the spine). It gives a magnetic jolt (no pain - can't feel it at all). I didn't have pain the next day, I'll admit, and maybe I'm weird b/c I kind of prefer the traditional chiropractic experience but the biggest issue was the smell. It smelled so bad (like subway onion bad). Honestly not sure if I should try it again just to see if it was a one off... I doubt I'll go back. Best wishes.

Been to doctors, physical therapists, several other "recommended" chiros but nothing fixed my back. I was losing hope. I saw him once, fixed my atlas and after 2 more sessions my neck and back pain were completely gone!! It has been gone for over 1 month now. After that first session my body relaxed, my thinking cleared (my wife reported the same thing after seeing him) and overall my anxiety was reduced. He's brilliant, a true nerd about his craft, and just the most hilarious, charismatic, and thoughtful person. His practice even has a relaxing resting room you can use before and after your adjustments to mentally prepare for the amazing experience you're about to have. In 2022, I was diagnosed with relapse-remitting multiple sclerosis, and I was struggling with chronic pain, cramping, numbness, brain fog, and fatigue. I also have TMJ. I'd tried everything--medicine, acupuncture--but nothing was truly effective until I started seeing Dr. Kris. Since then, about 95% of my symptoms have been relieved. I'm so incredibly grateful for his care. This is by far the most effective way I've found to manage my MS symptoms. I will be a patient for life! I'd like to add that I just read his 1/2 star reviews and that's simply not true. The experience of having a chiropractor is that it takes time to see results and Dr. Kris explains this. He gives you a consultation with x rays before you commit to a large financial ask. We choose to trust that the medicine we take that we've never seen the science behind it at all.
