I underwent cryotherapy body contouring at Healing Waters in January 2026 and developed a large…read morecircular area of hyperpigmentation on my abdomen following treatment. Initially, I was told the discoloration was normal bruising and was advised to use a bruise cream. I was also told it would likely resolve within a few weeks. However, the mark remains visible five months later. What has been most disappointing is not simply that a complication occurred, as I understand every cosmetic procedure carries risks. My concern is that there was no meaningful discussion beforehand about the possibility of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), and when the discoloration persisted, I was not provided with a clear treatment plan, timeline, refund, or other corrective action. I reached out multiple times, provided photographs, and expressed concern about the persistence of the pigmentation. While I received reassurance that the area was healing, I was not given specific recommendations beyond continued observation. The discoloration has improved somewhat but remains noticeable. Had I been fully informed that a visible mark could persist for five months or longer, I would have weighed my decision differently. I hope that by January (a year later) my scar will resolve. I additionally had paid for 6 colonics upfront but have been hesitant about returning. They have not reached out or followed up with me whatsoever. It's a loss and I feel insecure about this. I encourage prospective clients to ask detailed questions about the risks of pigmentation changes, expected recovery timelines, and what support is available if complications occur.

I enjoy having a quick colon cleanse, ridding of waste and bloating. The room is clean, they…read moreexplain how to utilize the toilet bed and when to release, and they play nature sounds if you'd like it during your session. Prices are fair especially if you catch a monthly special.

And we were both there with shortness of breathe due to our asthma and being sick. They didn't even check our 02 for at least an hour or so and mine was low. Scheduling a test with St. Vincent's is always an exercise in patience, but this experience was…read moreridiculous, and they also didn't seem to think it was important to tell me the test was 3 hours long. First, after a 3 week wait, I was sent a link to self schedule. The link couldn't find me, so I called the number on the link, and after 40 mins on hold, they couldn't find me. Then, I received a voice mail with a different number who also couldn't find me. So, back to the voicemail to find the name of the person, call back, and leave several messages for that person who never calls back. Finally, call the doc back and get another link that finally works. Then they call me back with instructions for the test, but don't bother telling me it is 3 hours long. I show up at 9:30 for a 10 A.M. appointment, and I am called back close to 11 to then be informed that the test takes up to 3 hours and I have to reschedule because guess what? I had other things planned, and my daughter was with me. If I had known, I could have made other arrangements. St. Vincent's, how about having some respect for your patients' time!!!!!!
