I waited to do this review since I wanted a while to see how good the system is. I had our filtration system with the electronic descaler installed in our new home back in November 2022 and my family and myself cannot be happier. First I want to say how awesome and nice Melissa and Dalton are. They were both so informative without any sales pitches. The system basically sells itself. 3 major things after 5 months with this system that we have noticed are 1) our skins feel better after showering 2) our dishes are sparkling clean and 3) our appliances and water fixtures have very little to no deposits ( see picture) . It is rare to find a product that meets the hype. Our new water filter, descaler and oxidizer are outstanding and reasonably priced for the quality. We have been in the market for a whole house water filter for a few months after remodeling our bathroom and adding in chrome hardware which is impossible to keep polished with our hardwater situation. I purchased the water filter system and the electronic water descaler from Healthy H2O Systems in March 2020 and it's been great. I live in a new development and my water was hard and smelled of chemicals. I have a small family and my major concern was to remove the chemicals from the water, remove the hardwater stains that began to accumulate on my appliances, and be able to drink the water from the tap. After talking to several people with different technologies, I opted to go with Steve's company. His water filter has two vertical chambers to separate the filtration components and the flow of the back flush is from the bottom up. His system uses an optional electronic descaler, which breaks up the magnesium and calcium molecules that make up hard water, so that it doesn't encrust the surfaces of the pipes, appliances, and shower walls. The descaler does not eliminate the hard water, it just breaks it up in a way that it can't encrust on surfaces. So we do get some white dust on our shower walls, but it wipes up very easily. The water doesn't pass through other technologies, such as plastic beads, which I didn't want my family to risk ingesting. I'm able to get the minerals from the drinking water without immediate damage to my appliances and shower walls. I have been happy with the system. With any technology , there are pros and cons. This system will still require you to clean the hard water marks, but with regular cleaning, it will not encrust to damage the surface of appliances, granite countertops, and shower walls, but it will be easy as wiping down wet surfaces down after it's been wet. I'm really happy with that I don't have to go out to buy water elsewhere and am able to have the minerals included in my tap water. My hair and skin has gotten softer and less irritated from the chlorine and other chemicals. I also purchased the ozone laundry system, Oxidize It. It is a sanitation system, in that it kills bacteria, viruses and other unhealthy microorganisms in clothing, towels, bedding and anything you throw into the washer. It will not necessarily remove all stains and soils in the material, and I use the system with a small amount of laundry detergent and vinegar, to get the dirt off my sons jeans and the smell of sweat out of my husbands t shirts. The bonus is that the system oxidizes with cold water, so I don't have to use hot water to sanitize my clothes, which preserves the integrity of the clothing far better than before. Installation and service was great. Steve and his team of plumbers were very professional. I bought the Oxidize it first, a week before the scheduled install, and Steve came by to set it up in a way that allowed me to still use my hot water when I wanted, and attached a separate spray hose so that I can use ozone to clean items in my laundry sink. I love the fact that I can spray ozone onto my laundry basket to sanitize it, onto dirty towels that I've used to clean up after a sick child in the middle of the night and to just clean out small waste baskets ( I have a big laundry sink). The water filter install included a small standalone storage unit on the side of my house by quality plumbers, whom also installed several T's to access filtered water for washing my car and unfiltered water for a future water feature in my yard. I live in Folsom and the city recently introduced ortho phosphate into its water system in an attempt to correct the pinhole leaks throughout the community. This ortho phosphate is corrosive and the intent by the city was to create a chemical reaction with this product and the interior of the copper pipes to form a calcium layer that would plug the pinholes. As soon as Folsom introduced this derivative of phosphoric acid to our water, I could taste it and feel it's corrosive nature.
