Out of business....for a good reason! Solar install was good, everything else was a disaster.

This company is extremely untrustworth! The installation process took several months of back and forth phone calls. Once they completed there end the inspector promptly failed the installation, which turned into more phone calls, promises, etc. To top it off I was suppose to get a rebate of $14,000 upon completionof project. Instead I was given $5,000 only after a barrage of phone calls on my part, and multiple lies on their part. Needless to say my phone calls are now ignored and I have to file a lawsuit. When I first realized things were going wrong, I thought this company was just really bad at their job but had good intentions, now a year later I realize they are actual crooks. That they blatantly lie and have intentionally misled me and robbed me of all the equity I had in my home. PLEASE do not do business with Healthy Home Solar, the owner Mike Mason has no control over his business and his salesmen are con men. Their motto is "oh well, I guess we dropped the ball" and no one ever picks it back up. They shorted me over 17 panels and now I have a lien on my property a 300 dollar loan payment and over 200 dollar electric bills, and when I call my calls never get answered. I am going to have to file a claim with the DPBR in hopes of claiming some money to get another company to make good on Healthy Home Solar's unkept promises. read more

If you would like to be swindled, lied to, and burn immense amounts of money, then this is the company for you! I have been having problems with my solar array since the day they were installed. I have attempted to contact the company through various means to help rectify the situation. It has been well over a year since my installation, and I continue to pay electric bills in excess of $160 per month, in the best of cases (this doesn't include the $150/payment for the solar panels themselves). I had been persuaded to hire this company to install the array after I was assured that I should pay close to nothing to the electric company. In fact, I was told, I would get a check at the end of the year, based on the amount of over production. This has not been the case. I have several panels that are under producing, I, and my husband made the company aware of this issue verbally, as early as August of 2019, and in an email, in November of 2019. In fact, we received two checks as a refund for the electric bills we paid for two months. Those checks stopped after the company stated that it needed a full years' production before it corrected any issues. We were told multiple times that we would be issued a check for the balance of any payments we made to the electric company. Currently, it has been WELL over a year after installation, and the company has completely and totally ignored us, despite being sent updated electric bills. At this point, with our combined solar panel loan payment and with our electric bill, we are paying almost $400/month in electric costs. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My mother purchased solar panels from a company called Healthy Home Solar on 2/27/2020. She financed the solar panels at the time but since then she was able to pay them off in full totaling $52,624.00. On 12/29/2020 my mother transferred the home to me. Once the home was put in my name the Insurance company told me that I have to get the roof replaced before they could insure it due to the age of the roof. The house was built in 2001, this solar company knew the age of the roof but never suggested to my mother that she should get the roof replaced first before installing the solar panels. My mother is in her 70's and I feel they took advantage of this fact. Since the warranty was held through this company, I had no choice but to contact them to take the solar panels back off for the roof install. They charged me $5,000 for this project less than a year after the inital install to remove the panels and put them back after the roof install was done. My mother paid them half the money 5/7/2021 to take the solar panels off. I hired a roofing company that did a great job replacing the roof. When it came to taking the panels off and putting them back on Healthy Home Solar was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!, they only had one technician working for them, he never showed up on time, he would start the project at 4pm or 5pm and leave at 7pm. He did half of the job putting them back on and after calling the company and the tech several times they have not answered their phones. THE TECHNICAN HAS NOW BLOCKED MY CALLS AND HEALTHY HOME SOLAR WILL NOT ANSWER!!!!!! I AM IN THE PROCESS OF FILING A LASUIT AGAINST THEM!!!!! read more

I wish that I could give a negative rating. It has been over 18 months and I still do not have what I was promised. They get your money then drag their feet getting the job done. Then the job is not what was promised. I have been waiting for my 8 extra panels for almost a year.... This company is nothing but rip off artists. I have dealt with over 12 people in my 18 months. They all quit and new innocents are brought in to answer the phone... They've ruined my retirement years with their criminal behavior... only way to say it... .they are crooks!!! read more

They don't even deserve 1 star!!!This company should be brought up on charges. They have ripped off countless number of hard working, honest homeowners. I was sold a bill of goods. They promised to bring down my energy costs and make by house more efficient. So far it has been a year and a half, and I still don't have the correct number of panels on my home, have had to cash in retirement to pay the outrageous fees and STILL have an electric bill. I am repeatedly told by Alain and the company the Michael is working hard to fix this issue. I don't believe any of them. They are just a rip off company selling you things you don't need at outrageous prices. Since I started dealing with HHSolar I have dealt with no less than 14 employees. They all either leave or are fired, I think perhaps their conscience keeps them up at night till they leave these unscrupulous jobs... read more

Although I believe this company intends to do the right thing, they have failed in multiple areas. There timeline is way off. I was sold on the timeframe that I would be up and running within 3-4 weeks. It took four and a half months. I understand that delays can happen but being off by three and a half months in unacceptable. It reduced by grace period of nor having to pay by four months costing me $600.00. The grace period for non payment is sold as 18 months. There was a lot of mis-communication with there permit dept and the inspectors which caused a month in delays alone. I had to call multiple times and send pictures to help expedite the process. Finally after four visits by the inspector the system passed. I was told by the inspector that the cables had to be secured and the fuses had to be installed before the system would work. I understand permits can take some time, but aa company charging $30,000.00 should have this under control. Finally when I was approved by Florida Power, I still couldn't use my system for another 10 days. I had to wait for the install crew to come back secure the wires and install the fuses. I wa told there was a fuse shortage. I don't know why since my local Lowes had them in stock. Last but not least, I was sold that someone would come to my home check the system and train me on how to download an App and how to monitor the usage and check on the panels. As of today none of that has happened even after me sending pictures of the panel 3 times. I've been told multiple times will get it you today or tomorrow. Still Waiting. I've expressed concerns that if the service is this bad now, what happens if there's an issue that needs repair within the 25 year warranty. There response was, you have a good system. Not assuring at all. Do better homework than I did before commiting many thousand of dollars. read more

Stay away for this company, they are nothing but scammers. On 2/13/16 Paul Padarth presented himself to myself an my husband as a 50% owner of Healthy Homes America to give an estimate for 2 large windows in their condo. He measured the current window for size and discussed the necessary design for slider window in place of the current windows that are currently in the condo. He repeatedly said he had been the owner of the company for 10 years and had cleaned up the company of lazy salesmen when he purchased into the company. Now he and his partner, Mr. Dwayne Right and only 2 other men were salesmen for the company. We later found not that is is only a salesman out to scam people. After measuring the windows he called Mr. Right on his cell phone to get a price for the windows. Mr. Right said the windows would be approximately $11,400 but with the 40% discount they would cost approximately $7,500. We thanked him for this pricing and said we are planning to get other estimates, before making a decision on purchasing the windows. Mr. Padarth said that the assistance funds were going fast, but the company was recently issued additional funds. We found out later there are no assistance funds this is just a scam. He said that if we gave him a check for a portion of the windows, he could hold the assistance funds for us until we made a decision, but he was sure we would not find a better price. I reluctantly wrote him a check for $1,000 and told him not to cash the check until he got a call back from me to order the windows. Mr. Padarth assured both of us that he would hold the check and not deposit it until we called him. Mr. Padarth then said we would have to sign a form that would hold the assistance money in our name. my husband did sign and initial a form that was supposed to be for the assistance funds. We were not given a copy of any paperwork as we were not purchasing anything at this time. Again I told Mr. Padarth not to cash the check I had given him as I would want it returned to me once we would make our decision. We had intended to issue a check to which ever company we contracted with for the full payment of the windows once the job was completed. Again Mr. Padarth said the check would not be cashed until he heard back from me or my husband. Our check was cash the following Monday. On 2/16/16 we got an additional estimate for the same windows from another company that was $4854. As I work Monday thru Thursday from 8:00am to 5:30 pm, I called Healthy Homes on Friday 2/26/15 to request the return of my funds. I left a message at the office for a return call. Mr. Right returned my call at approximately 4:00 pm. When I asked Mr. Right to return my check, he informed me he deposited the check and ordered the windows and they would be delivered to his place of business the following week. I then told Mr. Right that I had repeatedly told Mr. Padarth not to order any windows that we had not made our decision to even purchase windows yet. I also told him that my husband had told the designer, Ron not to order any windows. Mr. Right said he was not informed of this information and that I had signed a contract to purchase windows and filled an application for credit and he had copies of both. I then told Mr. Right that we didn't complete a credit application and did not need to finance windows. Mr. Right told me I was crazy if I thought I was going to get my money back.
