This is an everyday kind of farm stand during the Summer and Fall, and the people running it were very nice. The owner (Tom) grows much of what is sold on his farm just outside Kankakee ... thus you get fresh, local-grown FFV everyday where the stock is refreshed daily. All the FFV ... and oftentimes flowers ... are presented outside under an awning ... the barn is for his work equipment and other stock. I would have to say the best and most exciting feature of this store is the computerized shopping cart. You have to experience this to thoroughly enjoy this place. When you arrive scan your phone, with the Amazon app, and you are done! Just throw your items into the cart and it tracks your purchases. When you are finished just leave. Items are charged to your account, The food selections are awesome and so are the fresh items. There are two huge negatives however. The biggest one being that the store is more than freezing cold.
