I stopped in here the other day to get the new red velvet cupcakes. They were super easy to find, and can also confirm the bathrooms at the back of the store were really clean. The check out person I ended up with was very chatty. Like....very. Chatty. Which is fine, but I think she was distracting herself from talking so much. And whoever came over to help bag almost smashed my cupcakes so maybeeee might need to be a littttle more mindful there. So idk what they've put in something spritzy, but I do nooooot recommend opening the can and drinking it warm. I choked and spit it out, it was basically all bitters. read more

I love Trader Joe's and wish I lived closer. They offer a wide variety of quality groceries. There's a huge range of delicious snacks. Affordability in these days is hard to find but Trader Joe's is still fairly affordable. I would appreciate wider aisles because it gets crazy busy, especially on the weekends. I love Trader Joe's! Today i shopped and noticed a difference in the store. Maybe it was just because its a holiday, or maybe not. The frozen food isle is popular. The package food I picked was not frozen at all. I buy cinnamon graham crackers all the time. Box was NOT sealed, and I didn't notice until i got home. The check out clerk, Pat, threw my food in my insulated bag. Didn't seem to care after I said, fit as much as you can into my reusable bag. Trader Joe's is my favorite grocery shop. I've been buying from them since I was little; the food is delicious and the prices are right. They also have an excellent return policy, so you can try things and if you don't love them, return them to the store and then buy something else. The people who work at this location are wonderful. Really like Trader Joe's ... and out here it competes with Whole Foods, Jewel, and Mariano's - and soon with Pete's Fresh and Angelo Caputo's. So this area is a tough grocery market. But even with all the competition, Trader Joe's does really well. Nice selection of food here - many brands that you don't see elsewhere, reasonable prices, excellent FFV (fresh fruit and vegetables), loads of friendly employees, exceptional safety precautions vis-a-vis the pandemic, very clean store, and quick in and out. My favorite grocery store in Reading and everywhere. I've been shopping at Trader Joe's since the late 70s and love their selection and quality. They don't have everything I need but that is the main place that I shop. I especially like their cheese and their wine selections. Have a great dried fruit and nut selection as well and some of the snacks are really awesome. I would prefer more organic snacks, but they have some that are great. read more

Last week I drove from Beverly out to Trader Joe's. I am very fond of this store and it's unusual products and over the top flowers Mother's Day was coming and I had to buy flowers for all my daughters in law and some for the cemetery. I am handicapped and he had the little driving cart the clerk, John, who check me out Went over and above helping me. He had one of the girls get a bucket so I could put the flowers in a little water and then she helped me out to my car loaded all my groceries, and Sstrap the flowers in the seatbelt, their kindness was overwhelming since I had quite a bit of foot surgery I haven't been able to get around like I used to and you really learn a lot about how people can be and who does and doesn't help. John truly was an angel to help me that day and the girl that took me out to the car I don't have her name. read more

I have been going to Trader Joe's for many years and never disappointed. The selection of unique items never disappoints and the prices are reasonable. Some of my favorites are the vegetarian fried rice and sweet potato gnocchi and there operate. LOVE this location! It's close to my favorite theater & their parking lot is really convenient. (Naperville's is not.) Of my favorite things to grab: Orange Chicken, frozen French green beans, chocolate croissants, various pastas (usually $0.99), rice, spices, & their grass-fed beef is $5.99. Cheapest I've seen anywhere, good for you, & tasty! Their produce is always fresh & their prices are far lower than most... it just depends on what you're looking for. Their frozen section gives me life - especially if you're like me who comes home with a case of "tired & hangry" & really can't be bothered to cook a full fledged meal. Staff is friendly, it's beyond clean, & if you're not stuck on brands, give Trader Joe's a chance. You won't be disappointed. read more

The wifey and I do about 99.9 percent of our grocery shopping at Trader Joes, usually at this location. We have four kids and the oldest is only five, so we go through a lot of food. Quickly. As soon as we can buy it, the two older ones are tearing into it. Anyway, food goes quickly so we come here together a lot. I really like this store. The employees are great, the prices are great, the selection is great, and theyre nice to the kids always. Parking is sometimes crazy especially on the weekends, but even then it's not something I would call terrible. Hands down the best place to buy groceries in the area. Since I live in Denver the Traders Joe's here do not have wine and beer. This was my first experience at one that did. I spoke to a gentleman who worked there about a couple of different wines and he was overly friendly and extremely helpful. I wanted Italian wine for Christmas and picked up this winner!! I love sweet red wine like sangria and this was amazing. It was slightly sweet and it's a sparkling wine like a champagne . It was perfect for Christmas. This Trader Joe's is very busy. Stopped off at Trader Joe's today to see what's new. I don't live in Orland so haven't been here in awhile. I think what I like about this store is that there are things you can purchase here that you can't get anywhere else. We came home with a lot of interesting things. They have a large selection of organic items. Their liquor isle is quite big as well which is new since I've been there. One complaint I have it the temperature of the store. Not sure if it was kept cold to save money or because the heat was out. I live in the Midwest and hate that it's April and only 28 degrees out. I feel I can never get warm. But to shop in a store where it's as cold inside as it is outside is a bit much for me. I noticed the employees seemed to be bundled up as well. It did not make for a pleasant shopping experience and therefore we got out quickly. read more

Love the food at Trader Joe's. But everytime I come to this location I have issues with the customers there. This time a group of women were standing in front of the meat section having a full out conversation and refusing to move when people are trying to get things from there. Yesterday I went and stocked up at Traders Joe's but strictly for medicinal purposes. Want to know why? I knew it! My hijacked day began with a nonstop nosebleed (90 minutes) and visiting an urgent care and then wisely seeking out Dr. Daly who staunched the bleeding and sent me to an ENT. Next thing I know, I am in a chair with a camera up my nose. I don't want to see myself on a huge video screen from the outside, let alone inside my nostril. Have you seen your nose hairs magnified and projected? Don't. Ever. The cauterization followed and left Kathy very sad. Waaahhh! Her husband is out of town and she has a hurt nose. Where do I seek comfort? Traders Joe's, duh! I took my cart and put in anything that looked comforting. Ready to serve pasta? In the cart. Chocolate covered pretzels? In the cart. Dark chocolate covered caramels? IN THE CART times 3. You get the idea. Plus flowers, for moi from moi. Trader Joe's has great healthy stuff and take it from me, they have great treats to make you feel better. I figure I will get the stuff that will only make me fat, not give me cancer. Oh heyyy, Joe. You're the apple of my grocery-shopping eye. You have it all down to a science that I have to give you massive amounts of love (and/or money) every time I'm in the area. First off, the store is so bright and inviting. It's like you want me to come in here and kill a few hours. And you welcome me with fragrant flowers as soon as I enter. I'm always tempted to buy a bunch, but I'm of the belief that a woman should never have to buy her own flowers. My husband never picks up on the subtle hints either, so we walk on by to my next favorite area. The veggies. Oh boy -- do you ever know the way to my heart. Such bright, delicious, fresh veggies of every assortment possible. Do you like organic? We got those! Do you like bags of veggies? We got those too. The best find was a guacamole kit with onion, tomato and avocados. Loved it! Make sure to pick up some of the veggie cabobs in the fridge section. Such a treat and perfect for a week night meal when you're in a pinch. Since I'm (trying) to be grain free, I have to skip all of the breads but they do smell delicious and they usually offer some kind of sample! I noticed you just started selling pretzel rolls too. Those used to be my fave, so I may have to sneak a couple when my husband isn't around. Don't be surprised if you see me gorging on them before I even make it to the door. Next up is the dried fruit and nuts. One of my favorite sections for sure, but Joe, why do you have to put canola oil in everything? You do know it's one of the least nutritious oils out there. You can do better, buddy! Your meat and seafood, oh my! You must love me too. You had so many amazing items that are hard to find at my local store. Ahi tuna for $4? A seafood mix with scallops, calamari and shrimp. Wow! Everything I need to start being more creative in the kitchen. But the best thing yet -- now you offer ghee for $3? Can I just say wow! This store offered the best customer service my family has ever experienced!let me explain...Me, my daughter and my son came in yesterday to stock up on our essentials. We went over to get a sample and met Ellie, a Trader Joes employee, when she found out that my daughter Ellie was having a birthday today she gave Ellie a bouquet of purple flowers, making sure Finn my son didn't feel left out she gave him a fruit bar. We left the store feeling like faith in humanity has been restored. I love how TJ is expanding -- they are proving that it all can be done, and with reasonable prices. Friendly service? Check. Paper bags with handles? Check. The more they grow, the more other stores will have to look at their business models and rethink things. This location is big and friendly. It's a bit of a hike for me, but worth it to get the week's worth of fruit & meals, grab some much-needed condiments and cheeses, impulse buy some crackers, desserts, & salted caramel chai mix (yum), plus fill up the wine rack, all for under $200. read more
