Another great deal and gift bag at this Eglinton East location on June 1 2025 deal weekend! I got two Magnesium Bisglycinate bottles for 60% off! I hadn't heard of Preferred Nutrition brand before but one of the helpful staff said it's same Canadian company as Natural Factors which I already use and love. I also lined up early to be first 50 people to get a gift bag and was thrilled with everything especially the Vegan All in One Nutritional Shake powder and the Salted Caramel Organic Dark Chocolate bar. Saw this new spot popped up over X-mas. Went in for a couple groceries (almond milk, tofu, etc). They had a full section for fresh produce which is great but is on the pricey side as everything is organic. Kombucha and almond milk are offered at fair prices. When I was picking up the tofu, I noticed most of them were expired. I managed to find one package that was not expired/close to expiring, however they should take their food safety a little more seriously. They also offer herbals meds, cosmetics, protein powders and more at this location. Service was a bit slow but usual for my experience at healthy planet. read more

The store is fantastic. But DON'T order on line. Waiting over a week for 2 items. Extremely annoying when every other company delivers on an average of 3 days. Will never order on line again! There is no customer service to call or to cancel your order so you can just go pick up what you are waiting for. read more

It's improved a lot the past couple of years in terms of selection and timely replenishment. Up to a point - but remember some of these products don;t come from giant corporate factory suppliers so they are prone to going on back order from time to time. For example SweetLeaf Stevia goes missing once or twice each year, but I often find it here sooner than at Loblaws. Healthy Planets vary a lot from one location to the next in terms of both selection and customer service. I think this one is pretty good compared to Parkway Mall on VP/Ellesmere (where they always seem to be having arguments at the front counter and selection is poor despite being a bigger store because they lack proper fixtures) The staff is low key and a little detached but I don't find them unapproachable or stuck up. I rather like being left alone. If I could suggest one improvement that's easy to do, I'd like them to have a tethered magnifying glass on at least one shelf in each aisle - if you shop at this type of store chances are you really care about reading labels. May not be the best store of it's kind but all the better ones I'm aware of are a very long drive away from here. read more

Popped in here yesterday and even though I didn't really need them, I bought a bunch of items. Why? Because the prices were mad cheap...almost as good as Kensington and it is in the hood! East side represent! The store itself is spacious. Although they don't have the full range of cosmetics and nonperishables as say The Big Carrot, it was good to save money and not have to squeeze through the aisles crammed full of oblivious do-gooders studying their labels blocking the way for this neerdoweller trying to buy some granola. Lol. I kid. I love everyone. But I love them more in a spacious store. read more

I don't know what's up with all the negative reviews here but I'm a loyal customer to this store and I always find what I'm looking for here. I haven't been to any other locations yet so I wouldn't know if this location is worse than the others. I do agree that the staff here are not the best in customer service due to the fact that they are not friendly nor do they help you out unless you ask. But, again, I can always find what I'm looking for. They have a decent selection of supplements, vitamins, foods, beauty products, etc. It would be great if they had a produce section but no such luck. Always my first stop on my grocery shopping trip for all the stuff I can't find elsewhere or at least close by. Good selection of Gardein products, good selection of sauces, tempeh, organic cleaners etc. The prices are Comparable to other stores that carry the same thing. This place is so convenient to get to, and to park at, I hope they stay in business for a very long time! read more

Knock on wood but for the last 6 months or so the store has been better stocked and lots of new products on the shelfs I have not seen at other health food stores, I just found the most amazing vegetable broth from this location. If you haven't been in a little bit it might be worth checking out again. I'm really happy about the improvement. read more

Loved this store initially but lately every time I come there they never have what I'm looking for. Whenever I do ask when the product will be in stock again I get a vague "not sure...maybe tomorrow??" This isn't helpful. Also I think that if you are giving nutritional advice you should be upfront about your qualifications (or lack thereof). Their customer service is hit or miss. They often have problems with their POS system. read more

Ample parking and great selection - I've found what I was looking for every time. They have a wide array of healthy, natural food, vitamins, and protein supplements. Recent finds were: Cool Whey protein ice cream, PB2, and tempeh. Only downside is that it is pretty pricey! read more

This location is pretty good. It's located in a neighbourhood I keep ending up in for some reason so points for convenience. It's fairly big but smaller than the other Healthy Planet location I frequent. The diversity in the grocery department could use some work and there is no prepared food section, but it has all the basics and the prices are as cheap as one would expect. read more

Although I love most healthy planets I've been to, this has got to be my favourite one! They have everything I need & things I didn't even think I needed. I always end up buying lots of vegan food, snacks & cruelty free makeup + products! I love their bulk section but I'm pretty sure half of it has disappeared for some reason.. Anyways my only complaint would be to get some earth balance chips, I've yet to find them in Toronto but other than that Healthy Planet seems to have everything this vegan needs!! read more

I've only used their online store so this is in no way a reflection of their physical store. Their online store selection l found to be good but no where near the level of selection that well.ca has. I did run into a problem with my order and l honestly don't think that a human being is manning their customer service or order tracking dept. After numerous calls over several days and after holding and waiting to speak to a customer service l eventually got the message that they have an unusually large volume of calls and to please call back later and got disconnected. Just frustrating dealing with these people and l want to get my order straightened out and l will be done with this company forever!!! read more

My experience of 'Healthy Planet' online vitamin and supplement store. The online store lists items as being in stock but once you have ordered and paid, - several days later you will get an email that your item(s) are not in stock. You will not be refunded, rather you will wait indefinitely for a no-show item. Eventually you will have to seek redress through paypal or your credit card issuer. I advise people to search reviews and find a more reliable seller. Once Healthy Planet gets your money that is all they care about. Terrible 'customer service'. People buying health products should never have to endure this kind of treatment. Best advice: Shop somewhere else. read more

Scarborough stores not so good any longer as far as I'm concerned .Many products are expired so you continually need to check the expire dates. You never know if the product you purchased a month ago will be available the following month .Purchasing products from Healthy Planets online store is another joke! I have purchased a few times online thinking that I should get my items in a few days not so. I email them to confirm that they have the items in stock before ordering and they tell me ( Thank you for your response. The shipping time within Ontario is 1-2 business days.) .. .The next day Healthy Planet reply's telling me (We would like to apologize for the delay on the order. At this time, your order is almost complete, however, we are only waiting for the 1 x FRO Turmeric Powder Organic 454g and 1 x SORG Almond Extract 118mL from our supplier. Once it comes in, we will ship the complete order out right away. We are working on expediting your order as soon as possible.) .... I left over $2.5K in this store in 2014. 16% of my entire grocery bill. They are close to my work and carry a number of things I cannot find anywhere else close by (Spectrum organic mayo, organic Veganese, Mapleton organic ice cream, organic bulk items, organic dressing my husband likes, organic whipping cream, organic Parmesan cheese, organic full-fat coconut milk in cans without BPA). But lately they are so frequently out of stock on some of the staples I buy that I'm getting really frustrated with them. "Come back Friday" is the best answer you're going to get from them, but of course it's just a way for them to pacify you. The items usually stay out of stock for a while. Their staff is clueless. Nicole used to do the ordering and she was great - had great memory, was responsive and customer-oriented. I think she's no longer there and everything's going downhill. read more

I gone there a couple of times now, I like the store since is large, organized, great and bright. My only complaint is that there was 3 different times where I asked for help finding something and advice on a certain product and asked the same Indian long hair lady who gave me attitude every single time. Didn't take it personal, however I noticed to other female customers she went an extra mile and takes her time to help them and there was no attitude whatsoever. My guess she must be one of those feminist still roaming around with a chip on her shoulder. The rest of the stuff however helped me on several occasions and their service was outstanding, professional really know what they were doing. read more
