They have a reasonable selection of bulk bins at the back of the store, and the owners seem nice (it's a new store, still honeymoon, we'll see in a few months if they're not bitter and jaded...) The owners are really nice, and true to their word, they do their best to keep their prices low. To this end, sometimes they don't have something in stock, because they can't get it for a good price. Or they have a lot of something else, because that was how they could get a good price point. There can be virtue in calling ahead to see if they have what you need in stock. And they will always do their best to get something for you if they don't have it. We love supporting a local store, especially when run by really decent human beings. Highly recommend.

All things I did not plan on buying but I am so glad I did. I made an excellent salad dressing for my salad with the ingredients and a refreshing and healthy beverage with the hibiscus, I am extremely grateful for the excellent service provided, professionalism and product knowledge Daniel was able to provide. At several points, I found myself examining the carton for evidence that I had accidentally purchased a small-batch artisanal raccoon dairy product. I am not literally alleging that Raise the Root is distributing raccoon milk. I am simply stating that my sensory experience has provided me with an alarming amount of circumstantial raccoon-based evidence. Overall: unpleasant milk experience. Gross taste.
