when you spend over 100$ with an unethical business who doesn't deserve your money. I will never shop here again.
Brice M.

at roughly 2:00 feb 9 2018 I called this healthy planet to ask about a product a nutritionist named "kayla" -If that was her real name; hung up the phone on me in the middle of me asking about the price of a product. So i called back and she kept hanging up on me. So i kept calling determined to speak with a manager after that rude encounter. when the employee finally picked up she was rude so i asked to speak to a manager. After going back and forth with this rude nutritionist kayla; She finally handed the phone off to a male who i thought was the manager and he proceeded to blame me for them hanging up the phone; That i should be understanding when i asked for the employee's name he refused. I asked him several times for his name but he refused and was very rude about it. Considering i just spent over 100$ at this store. I felt really disrespected. I was going to be a loyal customer but after this i will never go back to a healthy planet again. with the attitude these employees have i hope the owner knows it wont be much longer before they lose all there loyal customers.

He googled Coco Aminos to ensure he gave me the right product. My goal was to buy it at Whole Foods where I noticed it was cheaper. Daniel shared I should buy it at HP and they could price match it which was great. In additon he upsold me on buying a huge bag of dried hibiscus and some tahini. All things I did not plan on buying but I am so glad I did. I made an excellent salad dressing for my salad with the ingredients and a refreshing and healthy beverage with the hibiscus, I am extremely grateful for the excellent service provided, professionalism and product knowledge Daniel was able to provide. I will definitely be back again soon!

Located conveniently near Yonge & Dundas or Sankofa Square, Healthy Planet is a mini grocery store…read moreselling grocery items, vitamins, supplements, and ready-to-eat items. The grocery selection is pretty good for a small supermarket in the heart of downtown, and the fruits and vegetables are pretty fresh. But given the touristy location, prices are a lot higher than the ones found in other regular supermarkets. Example: A pack of organic blueberries was $10.99 (as of Summer 2026). As for the grab-and-go food items, they have various bowls, burritos, empanadas, pakoras (vegetable fritters), sandwiches, and salads. It's good if you happen to be in the area and just need something quick, or for tourists who stay nearby, but expensive for routine regular groceries.

Everything here is organic - from the produce to ingredients in the ready-to-go meals and products. There are a wide variety of homemade soups, pizza station serving thin-crust pizza made of spelt flour (including vegan options), various salads, and more. Note that the hot food bar is only open on weekdays (to serve the office crowd), but they have other great and healthy grab-and-go options. Weekend grocery shopping here is quiet and not as crowded as in most other supermarkets, making it a pleasant experience. I love the variety of products they offer - lots of high-quality, gluten-free, organic, and vegan products and brands that are not commonly found in most other mainstream grocery stores. There are bulk nuts, tempeh, hummus, and the biggest variety of plant-based milks and nut butters I have seen in any supermarket. The bags they provide for produce are compostable. They have tables and seating areas for eating, and a gender-neutral and wheelchair-accessible washroom. Limited-time parking is available in the underground private parking lot. You can get the parking ticket validated by the cashier.

I love exploring a new grocery store, so I dropped by to check it out. There were so many fresh fruits and veggies at this place. The woman behind the counter immediately said hi. I reciprocated, intrigued by the fair-trade bananas from Ecuador and more. This store has a lot of vegan options. It also has gluten-free and keto items, but the vegan specialty items were prevalent. I loved seeing vegan meals in clear containers. I saw vegan marshmallows that aren't all that common. I was intrigued by the mushroom teas. I got one of the elixirs to try out. This place had coconut nog at a reduced price. I love the nog, except that it is super sweet. The price was right, though. You can get baking items and toothpaste here. I liked that the oral hygiene section was near the chocolate bars. Coincidence? I think not. I ended up getting a dark chocolate bar with coconut and skipped getting toothpaste. There was a bottle of The Good juice. It had celery, cucumber, and spinach in it. I liked the sound of that mix and got a bottle. I loved this store so much. I told the woman on staff that I loved shopping here. She was genuinely happy that I did. I paid with a debit card. All went well. I actually had my Yelp canvas bag with me that I got from Descendant. I used it to place all my goodies in it. Perfect! This market was a great find. I look forward to returning when I'm back in the area. The Good drink was indeed good! Same goes with the chocolate bar that I inhaled. (44)

Saad is the guy youll find there always and he's always been pretty helpful and definitely good spirited. they mostly have lots of pills and powders, man. some real crazy ones like wild salmon omega oil or if youre really the iron man youll get a multi v to help you get through the day. if you love to make shakes, theres quite a selection of protein powders, vegetarian and not. ive tried the flax, hemp and whey. i prefer not to taste it, frankly so i go for the flax. anyhow, they also have a little refridgerator with a few oils, condiments (like bragg's soy) and other oils that need to be kept cold. this is not a comprehensive place, but it is a great place to have in an otherwise plain mall.

I will say, however, that Nature's Health Food had exactly what I was looking for, and I wasn't pressured to buy anything by the burning glares of snobby employees who would normally make me hesitant about walking into most other health food stores. The man working here was extremely helpful and directed me to their slim yet satisfactory selection of supplements. He chatted with me for a little while, telling me all I really cared to listen to (i.e. Not babbling on about the product) and then left me to browse other products in the store. At checkout I was given a few pamphlets to read, all about the matter which had fuelled my trip to the store in the first place, so "Nobody [would] be able to trick" me. Can't beat an honest act of kindness!

You can always find a ton of products in here that are better priced then other health food stores. Staff are always lovely. I stop in here all the time even when I don't need anything. It's amazing that they can fit all of this in one seemingly small store!

A natural way to promote more hair growth? I'm down to try. I am amazed this little store in Kensington has so many essential to trendy natural products at such reasonable prices. You'll find anything from natural deodorant to vegan nail polish, essential oils, natural beauty products, cleaning supplies, and a grocery at the back. Wow! I can see why they are so busy. It can be tricky to find things you need through all the aisles of products, but the staff knows where everything is when you ask. Purchased Neem oil 100ml (Unbranded) $5.99 Rosemary oil organic 30ml (Now brand) $17.99 Their Dr. Bronner's Castile soap is a great price compared to buying online through Amazon. It's always a great bonus to save money while supporting local.
