I absolutely love Healthy Tans- I have been using them for almost a year now after I having a freckle removed that turned out to be an in-situ melanoma (stage zero). Completely gave up tanning beds as well as baking out in the sun at that point, it was a scary and eye-opening experience as I had a large portion of skin removed to ensure no cells would be left behind to evolve or spread. HT has been a great way to still have color and I can't say enough about how sweet and accomodating the staff ALL are. The color always looks very natural and even and I get compliments every time I get a tan here. The only downside I would say is that though I get the same color each time, the results/shade vary depending on who is spraying you..each girl sprays differently (some spray lightly, others harder, etc.) as do the different spray guns, and the results are sometimes inconsistent- even if I do the exact same things before going in (shower right before, completely clean/normal shade of pale skin when going, proper after-tan care, etc.). I have been told that everyone mixes the colors using the same formulas, so I assume the inconsistency truly must just be due to who is spraying/which gun they are using. Nontheless, this would never stop me from going and going often- I LOVE this place and it has been such a positive experience to have an awesome tan without ruining my skin :) Thank you very much to HT! read more

This place is well priced and clean. It's a cute vibe too. My appt was delayed. I waited patiently. But then my time seemed rushed. And my tan was average at best. Very blotchy and I'm very fair skinned so it was very noticeable. I mentioned it and they said it just takes time to even out, you'll see. But it didn't. It was never right so even the reasonable price isn't justified imo. I'd rather pay $10-$20 more and have a smooth/ even tan. And a place that fixes issues before you leave. I had an event and there was no opportunity to stop back in to get fixed. read more

First of all this place gives great tans! I am a blonde with fair skin, but I can get tan in the summer. So when I come here I get 'dark natural' which is a mix of their light and medium. This time in particular I came before my wedding with my future MIL and 2 bridesmaids. Of course the girls did a great job, but even better was he service after the tans. It started to downpour. The two technicians helped walk customers out to their cara with an umbrella. Also, some complete stranger lent me her jacket. It was so awesome to see such kindness and over the top service. What a clean and well run tanning place. I know I rely on reviews before I go some place new and saw this place had pretty good reviews so I thought I'd give it a try. I spoke with Amy and she did my spray tan as well and she was SO nice and knowledgeable. Sometimes spray tanning can be uncomfortable if you choose to not have a bra on but I'm a veteran when it comes to spray tans now but I wish she was my very first tanner because she made me feel SO comfortable. As if we were just having a conversation in the waiting area or something. They have cute rooms with black chalk walls that talk about dos, donts and how to maintain your tan. I loved it. Wanted to love my fake beach glow, but seemed like things were rushed & some employees were rude, like I was doing them a favor to get sprayed there! The lady who sprayed me was very nice, but I had really blotchy spots & followed all directions to a T! Won't be returning, guess I'll just keep using my at-home lotions. read more

Andrew's wife here...just went spray tanning for the first time. I just got it done and haven't showered yet to get the true tan but just want to say how happy I was with the overall experience. Great place to go before heading out on vacation. I have been numerous times and if you give them your phone number you will recieve texts that gve discounts. I have never waited more than 5 mins. The girls that do the spray are all super nice. Recommend this place!!! read more

Wow! I'm surprised no one has written a review of this place! They're wonderful. I heard about healthy tans about a year ago through a friend and I've been going ever since. The color is perfect! I'd say go with the natural if it's your first time and trust me it won't disappoint. One thing that I absolutely love about this place is you see the color you're going to have immediately and if you take care of your skin it will last 2 weeks or more. All the girls that work there are so friendly and i never feel self-conscious. Also they only use organic coloring which is so much better for your skin (especially mine since it's sensitive). I used to go to Hollywood Tans but they pale in comparison. The only downside is it takes 5-8 hours for the color to soak into your skin so take a shower before you go and try to go at night because you have to wait 6 hours and the color starts to get really dark before you take a shower (although, I actually love the color before I take a shower). read more
