Amazing products for your health!! The owners are soooo knowledgeable about the body, their herbs, the healing aspect of each and will provide medicinal alternatives. Stop giving the Pharmaceutical companies your money and allow your body to heal from what God has provided on the earth.

The openness of the restaurant/store is inviting. There is no clutter or waste.

Phenomenal food. Got takeout from here last weekend and the chopped cheese was so good I ate it all before remembering to take a picture.

My visit went fine, but I had negative end results which is my main reason for leaving a review…read more Mr. Kang left me with a buzzer if I needed him, which I greatly appreciated. However, to know the length of my session ahead of time would have been more calming vs lying there wondering how much longer I had to lie there with the needles in my body. And to say there is no pain is exaggerated. There is some pain, but somewhat minimal. I did have negative effects afterwards that lasted for several days. I feel I am probably the exception and not the rule, as I see many benefiting from acupuncture. But it obviously is not beneficial to everyone.

But it was such a wonderful experience, John is so attentive, deeply knowledgeable, and in tune with the patient. I was so lost when I arrived but he is probably the first doctor that's made me feel listened to and like I'm not crazy! The way he explained my symptoms, and connected them to other symptoms I had been ignoring because I was so used to not feeling good, I was amazed ! He asked if I had a tingly, tension in my ankle/lower left leg persisting for weeks to the point where I couldn't sleep, and I was shocked anyone could think of something so specific! He did acupuncture on it and after the session the pain was gone. That was October and it still hasn't returned. Hoping once my life settles a bit I can return!

I was exploring downtown Broad St with my partner and decided to stop into a few places we hadn't…read morevisited before. Unfortunately, I walked into this store expecting to browse and learn a little about its history and walked out wondering whether I had accidentally interrupted a private gathering. Apparently, simply being a customer was enough to be an inconvenience. The gentleman who is apparently the owner made it abundantly clear from the beginning that our presence was not particularly welcome. His attitude was cold, dismissive, and unnecessarily rude. I have encountered unfriendly employees before, but it takes a special level of indifference for the OWNER of a business to make customers feel like they are personally inconveniencing him by walking through the front door. The customer service was, to put it generously, nonexistent. There was no sense of hospitality, no genuine attempt to engage with us, and certainly no indication that we were people who might potentially spend money in the store. Instead, the entire interaction carried the energy of someone being deeply offended that we had interrupted his day by having the audacity to be interested in his business. Perhaps the expectation is that customers should apologize for coming inside. The owner's tone was dry, condescending, and dripping with an attitude that made it feel as though he was doing us a tremendous favor by acknowledging that we were there. I've visited countless small businesses, and I genuinely cannot remember another occasion where a business owner managed to make me feel so unwelcome so quickly. And unfortunately, the treatment of my partner was even worse. His tone toward them was particularly cold and disrespectful, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. Watching someone who owns a customer-facing business speak to a patron that way was honestly baffling. I'm still trying to understand what exactly we did to warrant that level of hostility beyond, apparently, existing inside the store. I've also seen the suggestion in a previous review that this behavior is somehow connected to religious reasons. I respect everyone's right to their beliefs, practices, and boundaries. But if your response to customers is consistently rude, dismissive, or demeaning, "religious reasons" does not magically transform poor customer service into good customer service. Owning a business means interacting with the public. Nobody is asking a store owner to become their best friend or throw them a parade when they walk through the door. A basic greeting, courtesy, and the ability to speak to customers without making them feel like an unwanted interruption would probably suffice. Instead, I left with the distinct impression that the store would be much happier if customers simply stopped showing up. Mission accomplished, at least with me. I'm leaving this review because I genuinely hate seeing small businesses operate this way. I want to support local businesses, and I went in with every intention of having a positive experience. Instead, I was made to feel belittled and unwelcome for absolutely no apparent reason. There are plenty of businesses where customers are treated with basic dignity and appreciation. I have no reason to choose this one. If being open to the public is an inconvenience, perhaps the public should be given advance notice. As for me, I won't be returning. Once was more than enough.

Still a winner but watch out because the price can sneak up on you if you order faster than you…read moreeat. Reservations made well in advance is a must unless you're going at less popular times. Unfortunately parking is always a challenge because of reserved parking so plan ahead and come early if I have a reservation. Lots of steps leading up into the building but there is a ramp for handicap access. Kids were in town so we were visiting all our favorite places. Blue Atlas tapas style variety is always a hit with us. The only disappointment this time was the Elote dumplings. They were basically just corn gnocchi. Not a terrible flavor, but wouldn't bother ordering again. We started with some pretty fun cocktails, and a highlighted wine which I wish I could remember the name of...i think it started with N...It was a light bodied wine with mild floral notes, and a Prosecco feel without the bubbly that went perfect with all the plates. For cocktails, we got tea ceremony, la Siesta, Nicolada. I loved la Siesta and Tea ceremony for their uniqueness and smooth delivery. My son has a sweet tooth for cocktails, which the Nicolada fit but probably a little too sweet for me. For food we got the ever reliable pork belly Bao buns -a bit on the pricey side when you have to order extra to serve a table of four at $6 each, Next the aforementioned elote dumplings, -tacos de trucha which was good but not my favorite, -hanger steak, -Malaysian fried chicken - delicious and a good deal, -shish Barak; unique, and very tasty, -Vietnamese prawn toast, which was delicious , - -steamed mussels- good and enjoyed by most, and the -tortilla Española; solid but underwhelming compared to everything else. Also ordered the Brie special with toast that I loved but some of us got part of the rind which there was a lot of so wasn't as enjoyable for them but the flavors were there. Would've liked a few more heavy protein options but this did not affect our enjoyment of the meal. The hanger steak exceeded my expectations. I'm not always up for steak, but this was done perfectly and well accompanied with a marinated summer squash, cherry tomatoes, and pickled peppers. For dessert we got the ice cream sandwich and the chocolate banoffee budino. They were all out of the Black Forest meringue, so unfortunately, we could not try that. The ice cream sandwiches were a hearty serving and enjoyed by everyone at the table, but I thought the banoffee budino was the best. Unique and very tasty. Would have ordered one to have by myself if I wasn't so full lol.
