It's been easy to make new friends and just strike up a conversation with other families. The people who play all the time on the volleyball court make sure to include new people in their games by rotating them into their teams. The social events planner does a great job as well with movie and DJ night, food trucks and even some events in the off season like footballs watch parties and trunk or treat in the pool parking lot. If you want a friendly social club this is the place to be. P.S- also as an odd side note this pool has the cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen in my 40 years of life at any pool.

It gained quite a reputation a few years ago for a couple randy adults who couldn't control themselves in the shallow end and had to be separated. Yeah, you should Google that. Anyway, I decided to give Rushville's municipal pool a try since I like their park so much (placing the police station right next to it was a clutch move, Rush County). Not surprisingly, it's fantastic! The locker rooms are well-maintained, the lifeguards actually pay attention and do their jobs, there's plenty of seating, and the water slide is safe and fun even for tiny ones like my two-year-old (I have to ride with him, but I enjoy having an excuse to go on it!). It never seems to get too crowded, even on super hot days. Hmmm.... maybe I shouldn't post this review... Anyway, two thumbs up, Rushville! We'll gladly make the 15-minute drive for this kind of summer fun!
