First time at Hearsay and it was a really good experience. Guinevere had some great food recommendations, and everything we ordered was delicious. Luckily, we made reservations because the restaurant was busy. The atmosphere had a great vibe, the music was good, and overall everything was on point. Definitely a place I'd visit again.

Just the ambiance I've been looking for on the Island. The dim lighting, wine glasses and candles illuminating every table created an elegant vibe. It's romantic, warm, and still accommodating for larger groups. The vibe feels elevated, but relaxed. I made a reservation but I didn't need to. If you're familiar with this time of year on the island, it's usually a bit of a ghost town. We parked directly in front of the restaurant and the hostess immediately greeted and seated us. She even recognized my name from the reservation list which was a nice touch. It's Galveston's restaurant week so we ordered from the special menu to get a taste of what they have to offer. They offer a three course meal for $40 plus tax & gratuity per person. My favorite dish was the Pistachio Crusted Scallops which is part of the 2nd course, and my husband's favorite was the Thai Currey Soup which was part of the 1st course. I also ordered the Golden Beet Salad for my 1st course and although it tasted good, it was missing the beets. We ordered our desserts to-go and gave them to our kids to enjoy which they did. Overall the food was pretty good which added to the overall great experience so we'll definitely visit again. One of my favorite visual elements was the backlit bar lined with bottles that glow beautifully against the wall. It's a perfect mood for a slow evening and a good pour. And, if you want to watch a game, the t.v. is on but it's not loud and obtrusive. It's not the focal point.

Came to Galveston for the 1 st time. This place looked interesting. I came in and looked at drinks. Their Old Fashion is made with an infused woodford with almonds, saffron, and chamomile. The bartender, Montel, gave me a taste. WONDERFUL. The Old Fashion was even better. Had the charcuterie board and added jalapeño corn fritters. Absolutely delicious. Ate at the bar. Listened to others who all sounded like they were enjoying their meal. Bartender Montel was very personable. This is a place to visit when in Galveston.

Excellent service in a beautiful dining space. We started with the Texas charcuterie board (creative, fresh). We had the jumbo bacon wrapped shrimp and grits (well seasoned, well cooked, a lot of bacon) and the shrimp and sausage fettuccine (well seasoned, excellent sauce. Cocktails were creative, and pretty. Service spot on. It was a bit of a quiet night when we were there, but still a pleasant atmosphere.

I love the food, vibe, and service here. Not really any downfalls besides the serving size. I paid 28$ for Shrimp and Crab Linguine after downing two loafs of complimentary garlic bread and still wasn't full. Could be me, but let me know if that serving size in the photo is enough. The waitress we had was great and the view outside of the beach and rainforest cafe is to die for. Thank you Landry's for this incredible experience. Make sure to give my compliments to the chef.

Krista was absolutely amazing!!! This was the best meal we've had in a very long time. The drinks and food came out super fast. The chicken Milanese was 10000/10

When you walk in you can't help but notice the lighting. Whoever decorated did a great job! The staff is amazing. We never lacked for anything, our server was on top of everything. Espresso Martini was excellent! The Old Fashion was good. Overall the food was good. The seasonal harvest salad was really good. The steak and blue cheese pizza needed more blue cheese. The carrot cake I could've skipped. It was really dry and had too many nuts in it. I would visit again and try something different.

5/5 on the service itself; appetizers and entrees out in a timely manners! Inside is super nicely decorated and ambiance is nice. Our appetizers of the ahi nachos were DEVINE. Our entrees were a little lackluster for the more upscale vibe and price. Overall my fiancé's favorite place on the strand! Paid street parking nearby.

This is probably my go to spot when I want a little bit more elevated experience while in Galveston. I love their price point, because even though it feels like a steakhouse, their prices are very decent for what you get. You have to make a reservation if you are there on a weekend during high season and during special holidays. That place gets so full and when it comes to parking, you would definitely either have to walk there or take an Uber. There is very limited street parking and that is one of the most popular spots in the historic district. We ordered the pork chops with sweet potato mash, and the red snapper. These items were very delicious, well portion, and very great meals. We also enjoyed the cheesecake for dessert. And it was absolutely the most creepiest and coldest cheesecake you could try. Definitely a great spot in Galveston

i've been to this location plenty of times and i wanted to show my friend how amazing this place is but today was definitely off. the waitress did not ask what drink i wanted with my order and i was confused and i just let it be. i luckily had my drink in my bag (a diet coke bottle) and took a sip. randomly, for some reason a guy in a suit stopped by our table, (did not introduce himself) and told me to put my drink in my bag. i was ready to walk out at that point, only reason i decided to stay was because my friend was hungry but i definitely will not be coming back to this location at all. so disappointed with the staff that treated us today. food was amazing but service definitely needs to be top tier at all times.

They're located in downtown Galveston in a part of town that was once a red light district. Their menu is "beach drinks". That's the vibe. You can get anything from a Negroni or Old Fashioned to a Highball, French 75 and everything in between. I live for that frozen strawberry daiquiri though. The cocktail menu is extensive! Did you know they have a speakeasy tiki bar too? Funky, beachy, tiki vibe decor. Great employees. It's The Pineapple Parlor and primo! See my review on it.

It's one of the best craft cocktail destinations on the island - and with a tiki flare. It's great to see it open after almost a decade. (We went there in 2016 when it first opened for a Yelp meetup; got to meet the owner, try some cocktails, and everyone had a great time.) Happy hour is Mon all day and Tue-Fri 4-7pm with $6 cocktails. Such a deal. They now have a "speakeasy" called the Pineapple Parlor. Barkeep told us there'd be a $6 admission per person; and since the space is small, there's limited seating. We opted to stay inside the DTO area for old fashioneds and Southside ($8 gin, lemon, mint).

The entrance is so fun and charming. I love how 50s hula music is playing while you enter the bar. The hula girl wallpaper in the bathroom also plays well into the theme. One of my friends was six months pregnant at the time and found the mocktail selection to be really good. We were quite full from dinner but didn't mind the snack offerings. I explained I'm gluten intolerant, and the bartender went through the snack pairings I could have. My drink (Speaky Tiki Old Fashioned) came with the rice, and it was so, so good. The Kumquat Tot is hands down my favorite. Kumquat, gin, mint, and a few other choice ingredients make this one of the most unique and refreshing cocktails I've ever had.
