Looking for a locals place? Kinda divey but in a good way? Then check out Lucky Lounge. Order some tacos or a burger out back from Tito's Tacos, then check-in with Jacqueline at the bar for a drink. Sit back and enjoy the view on the front deck, hit up the pool table, or play a game of Jenga out back on the patio. Some nights they even have live music! This is also one of our fav places to just hang out with our dogs.

Nice bar !!! Fun !!!! Great food truck, outback !!! It's close to home and it's right on the Seawall ...

Tried this bar out with my boyfriend one night and the bartender was fun and quirky! Had a couple beers and played a few rounds of pool. Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because one guy was being a creep and kept staring at me with my boyfriend right next to me but that's not the bars fault overall.

    Great Wall saying!

They were all speedy and friendly, helpful when it came to selecting cocktails and food. Chocolate martinis are still delicious, as are the fruity frou-frou drinks - but not that strong. And each time I got bubbly or a mimosa, it was warm. I still drank it, but meh. Drinks are still more than you'd want to pay for a not-so-stiff drink, but what hotel bar isn't pricey? I spent probs more than $100 just on myself, so I rec just buying a bottle. You have to have a wristband to access the pool and get towel service; not sure how to get a band if you're not staying at the hotel. I guess you could always rent a cabana. Which are pretty pimp. Flat screen TV, couches, fresh fruit, bottled water and of course, poolside view and VIP service. Cabanas sell out fast, so book early (weeks ahead, not days) if you're gonna drop in on a weekend. The crowd here is an even mix of families, hotties and regular Joes, which I like. I did, however, notice a lot of hot moms with their kiddos. Great idea for those moms looking for a quick getaway that can entertain both adults and youngsters. Potties: Please use them. Don't go in the pool. As added persuasion, the restroom inside the main lobby has a tub of fragrant salt scrub that's complimentary. They also have foot showers, a mojito bar, wet bar, hot tub, kiddie slide with a grotto. There's a no-smoking rule here. I'm not a smoker, but I wanted to enjoy my Hight Cigar and feel all baller like. Ah well, I'll save it for another day.

So other than the service being a little slow, the place was really cute. The ambience is amazing. I love the big chandelier. It gives you old-time rich vibes. Their menu has different options. They do have a vegetarian portion. The samosas were kind of like beef, taco mimosas that's what it taste like to me. They're red fish was really good cause the crab crusted on the outside and the sauce mixed together. I definitely recommend getting that if you like fish. I got it with a side of mac & cheese. It does come with veggies, but they let you change out the side. My mom got the margarita pizza and I've had pizza for sure but they do have five or six options of pizzas to choose from. And all the best thing was the bread pudding. Definitely get that save some room. It was warm with ice cream and the perfect bread pudding. I've ever had get it. There is street parking after six. It's free. There's a garage parking too. I don't know how much it costs. Besides the service, everything was really good. It took them a while to fill up our waters, but I did notice they were shortstaffed.

We entered and I was amazed by the interior. It's full of color and eclectic designs. We preceded to the hostess and were escorted through the buffet area, as they explained the layout...down the hall, past the desserts, and around the corner to the seating area. It's a banquet style room lined with chandeliers and a view of the water. There is so much to choose from: Cold Bar: snow crab, shrimp, oysters, smoked salmon/trout Salad Area: charcuterie, marinated veggies and fresh salads Hot stations: Omelettes, chicken & waffles, Shrimp and grits, Prime ribs Hot Bar: Hash, rice, seafood ravioli, eggs Benedict, bacon, sausage, potatoes au gratin, baked redfish fresh pastries & jam Dessert: fresh cakes, cobblers, bread pudding, tarts and cheese cake Staff was attentive and efficient. The only thing I didn't appreciate was, by the time I was ready for dessert, nothing was left. If I'm spending $90/pp, I want the full experience, so that was disappointing . They should let the guests know before they start putting things away, as it was our first visit and we had no idea there is a time limit for the offerings. All in all, it was a good find. The music doesn't blare through the speakers and there's usually room to roam around even on a busy Friday night. If I ever feel like stepping away from the main crowd to recharge my social battery, I can turn to the many free games including connect four, shuffleboard, and pool. Alternatively, during my most recent visit on a Monday night, I can sit down on a comfortable sofa and watch some football with my buddies. Their happy hour runs from 4-8pm everyday. In addition, their weekly specials offer a discount on a different alcohol every day of the week (usually 8-11pm with some exceptions). I usually opt for the lemon drop or a green tea shot but the tiki wheat is a popular option if you're a beer person. I'd choose here over a club in Galveston 9 times out of 10. Market Station is a great place to visit if you're looking for a night out and want to easily socialize with others.

The redish haired bartender with a centipede looking thing for a tattoo on her left arm made me one round of espresso martinis, after letting out a big sigh and giving me an eye roll. When I tried to order a 2nd round, she flat-out refused to make any more espresso martinis, claiming they were "out of espresso." That would be believable... if I hadn't watched the two other bartenders (who were very nice btw) make them for other guests right in front of me. After being told they were out of espresso by the red headed bartender, I went a couple chairs down to the other bartender on duty who happily made me more espresso martinis. That's not just bad service -- that's lying to a regular customer for no reason. It was lazy, petty, and extremely unprofessional. If she can't be bothered to do her job, maybe she shouldn't be behind the bar. Management needs to take a hard look at who they have representing their business, because one arrogant bartender shouldn't be allowed to wreck the reputation of an otherwise great place. If the red headed bartender with the centipede looking thing for a tattoo on her left arm is working, avoid at all costs.
