Bill is very creepy. Would love to give artists here my business but I don't feel comfortable in this atmosphere. I got my nipples pierced by him at 18 y/o and he told me that I have man nipples, (yeah they're very tiny, but whatever lol), then told me he doesn't think we should do it because of their size, then changes his mind and proceeds with the piercing. One of them was done at an angle at which you could literally see the piercing through the flesh. Needless to say it never healed. My nipple is damaged and has almost no sensation. He told me he's going to have to arouse them, which I knew was probably standard. He was definitely being flirty and I felt uncomfortable by him staring at my eyes while he did it. A couple years later I went to get a rook piercing (which healed at an angle), the needle he used "fell" down my shirt. I went to grab it and he told me not to then grabbed it with his hands. Just a weird and unprofessional experience for me both times with him. Not sure if I'm overreacting to his behavior, I know at least I felt uncomfortable and maybe it could help other women who think about coming here. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! Don't even send people you hate here. Ive been a business owner and a manager for 19 years and Ive always let go of bad experiences, but let me tell you... I was pierced at this location just under 2 weeks ago and my experience with Bill still makes my hands shake. I was out of town visiting 2 very important friends of mine, and we decided to get piercings as a bonding experience. Upon entering the establishment, there was a very sweet lady at the desk that did her job professionally and with kindness. She informed us that there was art on the walls for sale and said that while we waited we could look at it. I thought this was a great way to upsell the business. I took a phone call and unbeknownst to me, Bill had stopped tattooing someone to yell at the rest of my party to get out of the back of his shop. Mind you... this man was about to put holes in our bodies and we were invited to look at this art. He then proceeded to admonish the young lady in front of everyone. This put a bad taste in my mouth but we decided to give it a chance anyways. Poor life choice for us. Bill pierced my friend in uncomfortable silence and then it was my turn. I tried to be polite. I even called him sir. He asked me why I was visiting my friends and when I replied he asked me "are you retarded?" Now I don't like that word, but for this review I need to use it so that everyone reading can understand just how striking it was. TO HAVE A NEEDLE IN MY FACE and at 34 very mature years of age... and have a "Professional artist" ask me this. He proceeded to rub his "manhood" (if you can call it that) against my knee very blatantly for the rest of this interaction. I couldn't adjust myself because I had a needle in my face. I had to take it. And the way he enjoyed it, I am positive I am not the only person he has done this too. The violation I felt in that moment was terrible... And if you're not horrified enough yet... Oh Bill gets better. He proceeded to follow me out to where I was paying and asked me if I was afraid of "being kidnapped by my friends" to which I promptly replied "God I hope I do". THEN.... the cherry on top... is when he followed me outside, leaned against the brick wall, lit a cigarette, and asked me"You sure you wanna get in that car?" I didn't reply. Cause would've come out of my mouth would've been a slew of hatred that I didn't need my friends to see. I will be reporting this business to absolutely every site i can find and I will re-post it if it gets taken down. And to the lady at the front desk. Value yourself more. You did a great job. You can do better in your industry. I will also be in contact with the BBB and the local police department. Bill is a disgrace to actual artists and to male population and humanity in general. Bill's super professional, very accommodating. Has no problem if you need to get up and stretch. Great work. He's got an iPad with Netflix set up while you sit. Very sterile. Make an appointment, walk-ins will have to wait. That's the general rule when you go to even somewhere like a hair salon. Of course you have to make an appointment in-person with a cash deposit; time is money and you're blocking out the artist's time and if you don't show up to your appointment, he lost 2+ hours that he could be making money. Well I went to the shop yesterday as soon as they opened I waited for the piercer which He proceeded to put a hoop in my nose for the first time ever getting my nose pierced and I found out you are not supposed to have a hoop first and only a stud and than I wake up to the clasp broken I would like to get it replaced with a stud or a new hoop my nose is in horrible pain because of the clasp being broken I will be giving a call today I'm not gonna say it's nobody's fault but the piercer should have known that u are only supposed to put a stud in first I'm younger so I didn't intill my family told me read more

went to get my daith a couple day's ago with a friend. no social distancing at all... so many of us standing in that small waiting room. man doing my piercing wore NO MASK?? he is very close to all his clients all day. i wasn't given a hoop it was more of a bar in my daith which has been in so much pain since. women at front desk is the only reason i'll even consider two stars.. very sweet and answered all my questions fast. i'm usually a big fan of exotics and went to heart dagger because it was closer but i regret it. i went to exotics for them to look at my daith and they had to fix the whole thing. felt a rude vibe from the piercer the whole time. wasn't comfortable and won't be back. read more

It's no shock that Heart and Dagger disabled the option to write reviews on FB..I called the shop twice to find out the size and pricing for the March flash special and was told to see Facebook for pricing and to "come in and see" the size of the flash art. (Frustrating since I'm trying to fit this piece in between existing ink) So, I visited the shop and it was after I filled out the paperwork and handed over my license that I was told that there would be an extra TWENTY DOLLAR charge since I wanted the piece done on my back, because that makes sense . I was told that this mark up was posted on FB, so I should have been aware (this post is nowhere to be seen on FB). So, two phone calls and a 45 minute drive later, I found out a simple, 2 inch tattoo went from $40 to $60. I will be absolutely shocked if you guys remain in business after you're done swindling eager teens with your monthly "deals" Stick to producing quality art and helping people to express themselves instead of dampening what little trust is left in the world. read more

There's a lot to say here ima just make it short, smoke breaks, lunch breaks, piercing walk ins aren't what I pay for in a tattoo session. Let alone the work done within the time. If anyone is looking for a tattoo that doesn't look anything close to how much you've been charged, come on down to heart and dagger where you'll get milked easily 4K for a sleeve. Multiple sessions canceled literally the day before or the day of my appointment. Got tattooed by Brett, a mandala moon on my right shoulder blade that I love! It has an abstract butterfly in the middle of the crescent moon. He did a lighter shading of the veins of its wings so it would look more realistic and told me as he did so, so I would be aware for the healing process that said portion would be lighter. Loved that communication. Great attitude and personality, clean shop, only thing I didn't love was that pricing has to be done in person and they are roughly an hour away from me. BUT there's a shop opening up in Spotswood! Super excited for that! He's also going to do a mandala sun on my left shoulder blade after this one heals, can't wait! read more

First of all it's kind of annoying the only way you can make an appointment here is with a cash deposit (they are cash only btw). I was planning to get something from the FB special, nothing custom. Super disappointed, I live over an hour away and was excited to make it down here to take advantage of the Facebook special, only to end up waiting forever and having to leave with no tattoo. i came to get a tattoo with one of my friends. upon entering they said we wouldn't have time to get them as walk-ins that night and we were about to leave when one of the artists told us to come back in and we would have time. two hours later we were still waiting and finally decided to leave. after we left we had many people tell us that this tattoo shop doesn't change their needles which was extremely concerning. i also had a friend who said she got her belly button pierced here and paid a lot of money to have them pierce her stomach. i am very uncomfortable by all of my new information. read more

Went here a few months ago for a nostril piercing. I called ahead in the morning to make sure the piercer was in. I was told I could come in then and only after getting there told he wouldn't be in for an hour. So an hour later I went back and was now told he wouldn't be in till 4. My third time visiting in one day the piercer was finally in and I could start the paperwork. Then had to use the ATM because they are cash only. Did not open the jewelry fresh but rather took it from a jar on the wall. I almost walked out then but had already spent the entire day trying to get the piercing so I took the chance. Luckily it did not get infected but nowhere near as sterile as anywhere else I've been. Out of all the piercings I've gotten from multiple places (I have 3 other body ones and multiple ear ones) this was the worst in both process and incorrect aftercare advice. Pay the extra $30 and go somewhere that knows what they're doing. read more

Went their for the Friday the 13th tattoo special; everything was incredibly unprofessional, they should have anticipated that a lot of people were going to be coming, I got their at 3:30 and didn't get tattooed until 1 in the morning, people were cutting the line and getting their work done after going their several hours after I had, their was no order. They should have limited it to one tattoo a person. You could tell the owner was frustrated because of the long hours but he had an incredibly bad attitude and kept voicing his frustration out loud.
