I got my nose pierced which was great. They answered my questions and did an awesome job. What was really remarkable was the patience the staff took in piercing the ears of my very nervous nearly seven year old niece. They were kind and supportive of her, they provided a piercing support teddy bear for her and allowed time for her tears and worries. Wonderful shop! read more

Don't bother!!!! Untrained for piercings and awful customer service. I got my rook pierced here... the piercing experience was awful itself. Piercer was extremely under trained. Within two weeks it was extremely painful so i went to pleasurable piercings to get it looked at. The placement of the piercing was incorrect and will be unable to heal, not to mention they inserted jewelry thats too big. My only option is to take it out and let it heal. I went back to Sorry Ma, and spoke with Jeff who was extremely rude, combative and argumentative. He disregarded everything i said, saying in a discourteous manner all he can do is re-pierce it, even tho it is swollen irritated bleeding and developing keloids and infection. It is extremely unadvised to re-pierce it in such a state. There's so many other places to go, this ones not it. read more

sucks so bad. pierced my septum crooked and hurts very badly. had to go to urgent care to get it taken out. DO NOT GO HERE. they suck.

My dad tried to get his first tattoo here and they were extremely unprofessional. He went there in person, told the artist what he wanted and was told they would call him. He had to go back in person and the artist drew up the sketch and then told my dad he would call him to schedule the appointment. It was a back and forth of the tattoo artist being unresponsive to my dad for 3 months. I have over 20 tattoos myself and never experienced that level of unprofessionalism & lack of coordination from a shop. It seemed as though they didn't want business and treated my dad with disrespect and attitude. I don't recommend this shop at all, there are far better shops all over the NJ & NYC area. read more

I went in for my first tattoo in a long time, I was greeted by friendly professional staff, my tattoo artist, Louie , approached me and unlike most tattoo stores he was interested solely in what I wanted and not shooting prices at me soon as I walked in, we were able to work out a price that was really reasonable and I had my tattoo done two days after, he was punctual well prepared and made sure I was comfortable through the whole thing, it came our amazing ! Lovely. Came in for my first ever piercing (snakebites) and was astounded by how friendly & welcoming the staff were! The volunteer worker Amber who greeted us at the counter was an absolute delight to speak with, and she made the entire experience that much more enjoyable with her adorable personality!! The shop is a great place, I was comfortable in the shop from the moment I walked in, and even after I entered the back room to get my piercing. The piercer I was with, Isabelle, was also awesome, cannot give her enough props for how she handled me and my reactions!! Absolutely phenomenal grounding techniques to help me get through them both. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, seriously! My first piercing was such an enjoyable experience, and the care and respect the artists have for the clients is top tier. Came in for a walk in and let me say I've been to a lot of different artists and shops even some celebrity tattooists, but I've never had an experience as friendly and amazing as the experience I had with their artist Kayla! Kayla is extremely talented at tattooing and she was extremely courteous and professional the entire time I was there for helped me with my tattoo I wanted and even made some great suggestions on its placement and design. You can tell how passionate and dedicated she is to her work and she was an absolute blessing to be tattooed by. every artist in the world needs to take notes from this girl! Honestly, don't even know where to begin. My friend got a tattoo at the Pompton Lakes location...it got infected. She assumed it had to do with the location of it, as it was in a tough spot. People often have bad luck with tattoos, so my friend went to the Wanaque location after. She checked up with the artist first, explained what had happened and we were reassured that everything had been cleaned. The third one also got infected--badly. While the tattoo artists themselves are kind and lovely, I wouldn't recommend coming here just to avoid the possibility of infection. read more

Where do I start. Not only do they have people on the floor that aren't ready to tattoo. But they don't even take cards... Anyways I could be on a tattoo nightmare show.I came in one day for matching tattoos simple 5 letter word, place had good reviews didn't think anything of it. I was taken to the back in this room then the girl began the tattoo on my wrist. She went on for about 15 minutes. I looked down the words were super light and thin, almost looked like a 5 year old child had a tattoo gun and I say to myself WHAT THE F*** I say to her are you going to go over it she's like yes! this is just an outline I said okay.... words looked kinda separated she's at this point not sticking the ink on to my wrist. She calls for the owner to come and he's like omg ill take care of this for you, he goes " her machine speed was wrong" like okay.......... I proceed to go over the other room we goes over it heavily and it looks decent at most (he did do what he could) very nice guy. It heals parts are directly falling off but not it a pealing way in a way but the actual tattoo. I texted him nicely asking for my money back, he said he could fix it and he doesn't do refunds. I go back again... he over worked my wrist and it looks horrible. Bottom line. Im getting it removed. I only wrote this review because now I have the reminder on my wrist, don't have people who aren't ready to tattoo on your floor. Second star is because the owner is a great tattoo artist but clearly his judgement is very poor. My experience personally though....1 STAR. read more

Had my third hole pierced and my helix (cartilage) pierced here a month or so back. They get two stars for being accommodating when I said my helix swells post piercing and needed a longer earring. However I'd give them one star for the fact the piercer put my helix piercing in backwards. He had to then have someone else take it out and put it back in the proper way. I typically handle pain with no issue but to have an earring shoved through a freshly pierced cartilage is a raw pain I don't wish on anyone. I wanted to get another tattoo and was talking to one of the guys there before my piercings but if that's how they handle their piercing. I don't want to imagine what could go wrong with a tattoo. read more

Called the day before and made an appointment for 'around' 3:00 pm for a lip tattoo. Walked in the next day with my friend and was told by the ONLY employee that does lip tattoos that he had not spoken to anyone the day prior. After repeatedly telling him that I called HIM (since he said on the phone he was the only man that does lip tattoos) and him repeatedly telling me he spoke to no one, he continued to tell me he was working on another piece for the "next couple hours" and couldn't do it. Not only did I waste my time, but I was left embarrassed in front of the other employees and customers, due to his dishonesty. He did not even ask me my name nor did he tell me his. The only thing he said in regards to rescheduling was "You can leave your number and I'll call you if I have time." NO THANK YOU! I will gladly take my money elsewhere. read more

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN A PIERCING, THEY ARE OVER PRICED AND THE PIERCER DOES NOT KNOW WHAT SHE IS DOING. The only redeeming quality of this place is the absolutely amazing tattoo artist Louis. He did my second tattoo and I would likely return to him but I recently got a piercing here and that was enough to scare me off for good. I give the pierced credit because I was very back and forth about what I actually wanted done but that was about the only good thing she did that day. I have quite a few piercings so I know what a fresh piercing feels like and I know what it should feel like a few hours later or a day later. I got my lower cartilage pierced, fist issue was the type of jewelry she used, she used a regular earring which caused a number of problems with healing including not leaving enough room for swelling and the back of the earring causing irritation to the new piercing but I kept my mouth shut because she is a reputable piercer and knows what she's doing right? Wrong. She pierced me with no problems and got the jewelry in and got the back on with little to no issues but a few hours after the piercing I was in excruciating pain, which is something that has never happened after getting a piercing for me. I took pain killers and tried to ignore it but nothing helped, I was contemplating taking the piercing out that night but my friends told me to give it a day or two and see if the pain went away. Before going to bed I tried to clean the earring but simply couldn't move the jewelry around to get under the back or even under the front of the earring and felt like I was going to pass out from the pain so I decided I would wait until the morning to do a super thorough cleaning. I could barely sleep that night because of how bad my ear was hurting and finally in the morning I couldn't take it anymore and took the earring out. As soon as I took the earring out the pain began to diminish and the place where the jewelry had began to bleed quite a bit. This is due to the fact that the earring was so tight it was cutting the circulation to my ear off. After the bleeding stopped I examined the hole. I quickly discovered that not only had the pierced placed the piercing so close to the inside of my ear it was nearing on conch territory the exit point of the jewelry was in my conch, meaning she had pierced on an angle through my ear. I have had some bad piercings in my time but nothing compared to this. I wouldn't wish this on anyone and would definitely not recommend going here for a piercing. read more
