Tickets can be purchased at the Guest Services kiosk nearby. Carousel is moderately long at about 3-5 minutes in my guesstimate. It starts off slow and speeds up as the ride progresses. While the carousel has antique horses, there are other animals to ride like a deer, panda and tiger. Though if you are videoing, horses are the closest to the front. Overall, the carousel at Irvine Spectrum is worthwhile as it is a nice ride to bring your kids to while shopping here.

Who's tall enough to ride on her own. Demanding me to stand next to her when we paid for her ticket because she is big enough to ride it herself. I wanted to start screaming at this point because ANYTHING we did they had a problem! Horrible experience. Made kids upset. NEVER AGAIN. Bad people running this who don't understand children.

The Temecula Spartan race is usually a two race weekend, this January weekend was the 9 miles Super…read morerace on Saturday, followed by the 5 mile Sprint race on Sunday. The race is a fun challenge like always, this course was a little tougher than the one I did in Castkic Lake, CA because there were a lot of hills to go up & back down then entire course until the last mile of both races. The pre/post race area is pretty big, there's a warm up area with monkey bars & a rope to climb up, a lot of Porta potty's, ATM machine, some booth selling coffee & breakfast burritos, the shock top tent where you get your free post race beer, & a foam & rinse booth next to the changing area so you can clean off after the race. The Super race on Saturday was a smooth race, the Sprint on Sunday was a different story. Rain was expected but it ended up being way more than anticipated, a lot of volunteers no showed because of the rain so they were short staffed for the event that day. A lot of people got injured since the trails were so slippery. Given the amount of injuries occurring at the same time I think the Spartan crew did a good job getting help out to everyone that needed it, the rain also caused the parking lots to be a mess but they had people out there to help push cars out the mud. Disputes the mess cause by the rain on Sunday it was a fun weekend, & hopefully I'll make it back up in the summer for the Beast & Sprint weekend.

Milage is from 2miles to up to 10 miles, and even more as the trails connect another major trail system. Parking is easy, at the base, there's a pay machine..3$ i think. Grear price, as the money is used for clean up and maintenance. No pets on trails. Luckily, a ranger caught two families and were cited! Yes! And two others cited for non pay of Parking. The high point trails are steep and difficult, for walkers joggers runners family or couples and for the renegade singles, plus be carefulwith bikers... they must slow down for you ! Not the other way! So be outspoken! Plus horses are occasional seen. . Get there early, as Parking gets full. The views are splendid and serene. Bring water, it can be frustrating as not water on the trails. But there is a water full station and bathrooms before entering. Clean trails, fun trail, and a trail that can be demanding if you wish it to be . It crosses over to other side of the foothills, and can be wildly exciting. From the north fate, you cannot park here. You enter, but no parking here

BEWARE -- when the pony pees, it is a strong and long stream that bounces high off the ground and onto your child...WITHOUT WARNING. So have your child stay several feet away from the rear of a pony , unless your child wants a face splash. Otherwise the young one loved the pony ride which lasted 3-4 minutes (2 laps). Kids can choose between a slow walk to a trot on the pony....usually older kids would choose the trot and younger ones would like to ride on a walking pony. It is nice to experience once but We would not go again.
