The Sturbridge Flea Market is one shop in the larger Sturbridge Marketplace At the Falls building…read more It's on the higher floor, close to the road, so the higher you can park the closer you are (valuable advice when the sun is beating down in the summer). The store seems to be built with the wares of different vendors, but one central register to pay. They are split floors within the shop - a lower level with more modern collectibles, a higher level with clothing, and a main level with larger items. It's one of those places you have no idea what you're going to find and what treasure you'll walk out with.

Pay attention to the booths as there is a way to go thru and see them all. So many different things we wound up spending close to two and a half hours walking around. Yes I had to use one of their shopping carts as we picked up quite a few items. Most booths were very reasonably priced. There are a couple that priced a little high but for the most part the prices everywhere else were low. Definitely will be back.

This older guy told us it was one price, then FORTY DOLLARS the next. A fee for a fee! Way to go! On top of the impossible parking, lots of people wandering around. The place is busy as hell. Another pet peeve of mine haha. The food: avoid the pizza stand. You'll get ripped off. $22 for two slices and some of the worst lemonade I've ever had. No sugar all sour. Burned my throat. None of these food stands talk to each other, so these refills in those collector cups only really matter at the place you got your food from. Even tho there are a few fountain dispensers in the food area. Just try to sneak a refill in if you can get away with it! Be prepared to do A LOT of walking here as well. There's not many benches or seats to sit on if you get tired which is ridiculous. Not to mention bathrooms are scarce. Honestly if you're not into crowds and spending more money on fees than antiques, give this one a pass. Not sure if I'd go again. Not really what I expected it to be. Like any antique place, it's odds-and-ends in no particular order, and there was really nothing that jumped out at us. Prices were a bit on the high side, and we figured it was because of the location (the only place in the immediate area). If you're stopping for lunch, and want to kill a few minutes before heading back on the road, take a walk around. You may find something unique.
