They didn't seem to know how to set up a video conference (no zoom, google meet, Teams, or the like?). Was late for our meeting (and prolly forgot until I pinged them). Seemed apathetic, poorly managed, and unprepared during discussions. Very odd. Also of note: the rep who called me kept referring to their company as "At Home Care" (which if that is the case, I can see why they would change their company name -- At Home Care has terrible reviews on Yelp). The other review I saw for At Home Harmony (a 5-star review no less) looks like a sales pitch from an insider, but you be the judge. Another red flag was, the rep went right into a line of questioning about my age and medicare status (as if to line up future business) rather focus on the elder in my care. Too many red flags.

One attendant let my mom walk very far without her rollator, even though I'd just told her that my mom had fallen earlier in the week and had to get an x ray. The attendant was too busy on the phone complaining about my mom sundowning to catch that she was walking without her rollator. Another attendant brought my mom back with blood around her mouth and couldn't explain it when I asked questions. No wonder they've had huge turnover there.

I did not get the prescriptions because they were controlled. I had to physically call them three times to get the prescription after the initial visit we no longer heard from Lap Of Love. They didn't check in once a week. They didn't prescribe any medication and they most importantly did not make our girl comfortable. Our Lexi passed away on March 31 today May 14th I received an email asking how Lexi Is? Lap Of Love charged us $605 for their service. Honestly, it isn't about the money I would've paid triple that to save her. It was about the lack of compassion, empathy, and care they lacked. Please I am posting this as a public service announcement. Do not use this company if you love your pet babies.

I first connected with Loving Kindness to line up the inevitable for my first doggie Jelly. However, knowing the time wasn't quite right for that, with their guidance and excellent vet care, Jelly had more and better quality of life with me. Dr Dahlgren provided excellent care and was available when the going got tough, whether by text or visit and you know things always seem to happen after hours - and having Dr Dahlgren available to advise versus not knowing if a cold show up at some ER was warranted. Along with our primary vet at Betty Baugh's I am confident both Jelly and Boone got amazing care. Emma was visiting monthly and was always able to find the meds Boone needed at the mg best so I didn't have to cut pills etc and when you get a few meds going, it is very very helpful. Gail gave wonderful care with massages and Brandi was gentle and kind on the phone. Dr Dahlgren spent a complete Sunday reassuring me of how to get thru the day, from upping some anti nausea meds to a diet change. I sent pics of things I am sure she has seen before but who wants that diarrhea pic. I just love her and them. I am forever grateful.
