Finally, after waiting for two hours, I called the 911. Thank you very much to the 911 operator who helped me find a towing service. We looked online and found Richard's and called ahead of him as it was close to their closing time. Not only did they hold a lift open for him, they stayed late, diagnosed the issue and got the part for him. It was too late to do the repair that day, so they called us to let us know what was wrong with the truck, drove him to a safe hotel and promised they'd get him back on the road safely first thing in the morning. And they delivered! Our son was back on the road no more than an hour after they opened for the day. And the price was more than fair. Because I foolishly left the Wheel lock keys at my house in California and didn't bring them with me on this trip. Therefore, they were unable to provide tire change services immediately. So they immediately reported my situation to the store manager. I was approved to park my car there! Ironically, I had to tell my friends to mail the wheel lock keys here via next-day delivery. I booked a hotel nearby for two nights, and now we can only walk there to check in. Two days later, on Tuesday morning, I received the package from California before 10 AM. So, I immediately came here to get my tires changed. I had already booked and paid for the service through the app earlier. Therefore, the whole process was very quick and smooth. Especially appreciate all the staff in the auto care center. After the tires were changed, we left immediately, because we had been delayed for a while along the way. Our next stop was Mount Rushmore, South Dakota. If we have the opportunity in the future, we will definitely come back to Minnesota for another trip. They submitted a claim and said they would respond within 48 hours and 3 days later she was following up. The car was not drivable and it took more than a week for a response. This happened in June, and she had to follow up several times for a response from their claims department. In October they finally denied the claim. The amount of time it took was ridiculous. Our day was made by Connor in the Hawkins body shop. Having…read morehit a snowplow drift earlier in the day, our fender was dislodged and looked like it would fall apart. We called the body shop and were able to get in for an estimate within a half hour. Connor looked at fender cover, went and got a screw, and after manipulating the fender cover into position, put the screw in and we were good to go. From the lack of enthusiasm & bad customer service that came from the two guys at the front counter, to the lack of knowledge & lack of thoroughness to do the repair successfully from the mechanics out in the shop. Two of the employees even tried blaming their mistakes on me.
